Came to this Food 4 Less. I didn't realize this store was even here. Very affordable prices and variety of food. It's a Ralph's for more economical people. You have to bag your own groceries. The selection of meats is good as well as fresh produce. Staff were relatively friendly. Nothing wowed me but we'll be back to save $$ in this terrible economy. read more

I don't shop here, and am glad of it. The store bo longer sells the cheapest milk (Mountain Dairy) or something. The Kroger milk is ridiculously overpriced at more than $4 per gallon, regardless of the type. Get milk at Grocery Outlet or Stater Bros. read more

I have been coming here for 4-5 years and I love it! The cashiers are so friendly! They recognize me and always smile and ask how I'm doing. I prefer the layout of this Food 4 Less verse the other one on Cedar, so much so that even if I fill up at the gas station over on Cedar I will still drive over to this Food for Less to shop. Even the produce guys are friendly and say "hi!" Or "have a good night!" When I was pregnant they helped me to my car! I'd like to compliment Arlene, Rhonda, and Anita for being so welcoming and friendly! And I believe the Friday manager is Maria and she is also very friendly and handles the Friday night rush great! And the fuel points and free clippable coupons you get from their free App saves me so much money! Favorite grocery store! read more

On December 24th I witness one of the managers at the fontana store belittle one of the cashiers infront of customers. I was disappointed and discusted by the manager she told the cashier that she has a mess in her working area and when the cashier asked her where did she see the mess the manager grabbed the store add paper and threw it on the floor and told her there's your mess the poor cashier picked it up and placed it in the trash and just went back to work . read more

This particular store in Fontana ca located on valley and Sierra is terrible. The store is unorganized and dirty. Management is terrible especially the make manager at night short with slick hair back and Lola sloppy for being a manager. He always has attitude like if he doesn't care for the store or his job. There is always issues with the express line. It's either closed or to long. Why does this particular store get bad products, other 4 for less have better service and quality groceries can it be due to being in a mostly Mexican community. Need to give employees refresher in customer service and how to run the store a lot better. read more

I have visited Fontana for years and I finally paid a visit to Food 4 Less since it was one of the very few stores opened on a holiday and I needed to pick up some items for my kids. Big mistake. The parking lot is full of trash, the store is filthy (flies?), the people who shopped there that day were dressed in torn up sweats, kids were running around and screaming in the store...oh my! I would never go there again! It was so terrifying for me. The only good thing that day was, I was able to pick up some baby Plum Organics baby wafers for dirt cheap ($5.00 for 2 boxes), when it is usually selling for about $3.99 elsewhere. It's actually made in Italy so it is some good stuff. Not sure why it is so unpopular at that market where it needed to be on sale / clearance? Well, I got some and walked out of there scared, but a happy camper. I honestly don't think I will ever go back. It is located in the more ghetto side of Fontana so driving around that area doesn't make me feel that safe. I'll be fine just shopping at Stater Brother's on the other end of Sierra. Food4Less - a birthday cake in a plastic container - Grocery Near Me - Fontana, California

On 12/30/20 I went to this store and my wallet fell and I could not find it . I tried asking for help but management was very rude nobody was willing to help me I asked if they could check the cameras they said no. When I came back home I got a notice that someone in that store had used my card. I called again the next day and explained the situation the lady that answered was rude and said she "had no one to check the cameras" and hung up. I will never set foot in this store again because of the costumer service . Now someone is out there with my wallet that has all my information . This store is aiding and embedding crime when they choose to not report it!!! read more

I walked into this Food 4 less and walked right out. The produce department had limited amount of foods which is understandable during these times but it was also disgustingly dirty. I walked right out. The parts of the store I went to was just dirty. Looked like no one had tried to sweep or mop for weeks not days. Do better Food 4 less. All of the F4L stores closed down in Las Vegas. During my travels, I was excited to see the remaining stores in California! No hassle shopping, good prices on certain products. Well, prices on any products are higher in CA though. You must have reusable bags for your groceries. Or you'll be charged 10 cents per bag. Those bags that they have are flimsy and I wouldn't use those for anything, only a trash bag. read more

I love that this place is much cleaner and friendlier than the one with a gas station on foothill blvd. They always have a clean parking lot and always dependable when baskets or hand baskets available even when busy. The parking lot is well enough spaced and always have good parking options. When walking in its always nicely stocked and always see actual workers doing "work" and really friendly when u ask for help. They upkeep thier produce and u dont see anything spoiling or going bad. The lines look long but they move quickly and efficiently. Definately love coming here as they always have great prices of tons of choices of meats produce and drinks almost everyday. Frances is always smiling and has a great additude making the stressful shopping for the week expierence a good ending at check out. read more

I went there tonight at about 11pm an hour before closing I guess technically it was last night. I was grabbing an energy drink right by the liquor section when a mouse came out from under that fridge!!!! I notified a cashier and she called her manager right away. I used to come here a lot especially at night seeing as I work late and like to do late shopping but over the past few months I am met with hostility by one worker there. Her name is Cassandra (night worker with glasses) and my first experience with her was extremely unpleasant. I had lost a family member and had been crying so I guess she mistook my red eyes for me being high? I'm a grown man and this female cashier laughed in my face and yelled "Really?" And pointed at my eyes while having a look of annoyance in hers. I just payed for my things and left but since then she has remembered my face and has continually been extremely rude. Over and over again and she even admitted it joking saying "I have great customer service, right?". I am not a complainer and I am quiet and reserved. I work with people every day and wouldn't get away with half of what she has said to me. I will not shop here anymore and will definitely be reaching out to morning managers about this. I love this place. The cashiers Anita , Sharon, Dereck, Maria and Susan are so wonderful and friendly they should all get a raise and 40 hours a week. I love going there and they make me feel like I'm important. They actually provide the most excellent customer service and I would only shop there cuz the other markets are so rude In the area. Ghetto grocery store in a ghetto part of Fontana. There are always solicitors outside asking for money, wanting you to sign some sort of petition, selling tamales and hot chocolate from the back of their pick up trucks, it's annoying! The produce section is always dirty. This is like the Walmart of grocery stores. Only like 2 cash registers are open all the time on busy days. some of the older ladies really need to be more friendly. How about a smile, or a have a nice day? read more
