Horrible customer service. I went to the store to buy a pair of running shoe and the price of the shoe was different than what was advertised online. The sales guy said that their store price is set and they don't care what is advertise on their site. He told me to go online and order the shoes on their site and have it deliver to the store for pick up and that should take only 5 minutes. So I went online and placed the order with my phone for the store pickup and went back to the store and now my purchase didn't show up on their computer so I had to call back to their customer service and they told me that it takes 5 business days for the shipment and I ask them if I can change the shipping address and they said NO. I LOVE THIS STORE! Why? 1. Variety of shoes. 2. The Staff is very helpful and professional. 3. It's clean. I have been to this store hundreds of times, they tend to stay busy. I don't walk in expecting a "HELLO" as soon as I take 2 steps in, I understand that they are busy and as soon as 1 of them becomes available they assist me with any questions or purchases that I want to make. The entire staff is great, Alexis, David, and Brandon have all been very helpful to me. When it comes to special releases and raffles "Come on people, do you know how many people are actually getting tickets for raffles?" I heard this 1 guy pays homeless people to go get a raffle ticket for him. So if you don't get a call from Foot Locker don't be surprised...the odds of winning a raffle are 1 in 600 or more! Terrible customer service from really lazy employees. We called to make sure they had a particular sneaker in stock. The guy we spoke to confirmed that they had the size and style we wanted. When we got there, we were told they didn't have what we wanted. We realized the employee helping us was the one we spoke to on the phone. We reminded him of the phone conversation and he just rolled his eyes and shrugged his shoulders. Then he turned his back on us and began to walk away. We said, "You just don't care at all, huh?". Went in today to get a pair of Adidas Ultra Boost and was not helped one bit. Two guys were standing around acting as if they were taking care of someone and laughing together. I asked for help one guy said he'll be right back never did. Poor service ; if their getting paid to not help and to stand around thinking their all cute then footlocker needs to recheck their employees and retrain them on how to handle customer servicing and customer experience for that is what they lack in. I used to work at Footlocker back in my day at the Westside Pavilion in LA so I know what these guys are going through. Whenever I walk into to one and see what I like it just make my request as quick and as politely as possible. I went in there 06/18 after work to look for a pair of running shoes for my pop, mind you I wasnt looking to drop $150 on pair of running shoes but somewhere round the $70-$100 range would be fine. I am having a hard time finding something cause my pop likes the simpler less eye catching shoes and all FL offered was over the top shoes. I was there for about 10-15 minutes just walking around and no acknowledgement of any kind, that's okay. I finally found a shoe that i thought my pop would like and asked an associate to get me a size 9 new in box, he seemed confused when I said new in box, so I reiterated to him that I wanted one that wasnt laced up, didnt have the other shoe as the display one, hence one new in box. First off, yeah I am picky, secondly I have every reason to be. Even if they have a shoe in my size and I really want it, if it's not brand spanking new, forget about it. One time when I was working at FL back in the day, a couple came in to try on shoes for the man, he tried on about 5-6 different pairs, in the process of them trying the shoes on the older lady looked over to her partner and they started talking about the foot fungus medication and if he had taken it today and such. I am serious that is effin disgusting! Hence, any time I buy a shoe, it has to be one where no one tried it on. Back to my story, so before the associate goes to see if he has the shoe, he explains to me that the shoes changes between different footlocker locations all the time and so it might not be easy to find one. First off, when i worked at footlocker shoes werent going from store to store, no reason to........... secondly please go look first before you give me an excuse. So he comes back and tells me that the shoe is on display, I told him it was alright but that thank you, he says "alright than man, peace". Peace? Peace?????? WTF???? Didn't bother to ask me if there was another shoe i wanted or what not, just said peace and left. I like how he had on his little ghetto swagger and slang the whole time, use that for some little 16 year old unemployed boy or some barely legal girl you trying to holla at, not me. Horrible customer service. I went to this location a few months ago to find my 1 yr old son a pair of shoes. My wallet was itching to spend some money. Too bad they didnt get my business and probably never will. I walked into the store and got no greeting whatsoever. They 3 reps in there just looked up and continued with their conversation. Now, I'm originally from GA so I'm used to at least a hi how ya doin. Normally you walk in a store and someone says SOMETHING to acknowledge you're there. Nope. Not here. At first I thought, well maybe it's cause I'm black. Cause this area(UTC) seems to be pretty snotty as it is but seeing as how everyone else was treated the same way I can rule that out and just say that they are pretty shytty to everyone that walks in. Don't waste your time coming in here for the raffle. The girl named Alexis who's calling to the people who got picked from the raffle was very rude and unfair. I'd been waiting for the call since 8am,at around 10:49 am finally got a call from here only rings 2 seconds then she dropped the call. I called back as soon as i saw their call dropped, and still 10:49 am so only few seconds difference and she answered and said i got disqualified for the raffle coz i didn't answer my phone and she also lied that she said she hangs up the phone when she heard my voicemail and maybe my signal wasn't that good enough. I mean wtf!?!!! So unbiased! I definitely would not go or bother to come here anymore. My time and gas wasted just because from this unfairly phone call and rude customer service. I walked into the store and wasn't greeted by anyone. There was actually no employee to be seen. I was looking for some black Nike running/training shoes for my upcoming trip to Disneyland. Finally, employees started showing up, but they didn't interact with me at all. They just stayed at the register and talked amongst themselves. I had to make eye contact with one of them before they came over to help me. I asked if any shoes were on sale and he said no, they're all new so they're not on sale. Then he walked away. I found two shoes I was interested in and had to hunt him down to ask to try on my size. I asked for 7.5 and he said smallest they carry is 8. He came back and one of the pairs was 7.5. He knew nothing about his own store. I went with the shoes that were size 8 for $75. When I bought them, they turned out to be on sale for $60. I figure they don't advertise sales because they want people to buy the more expensive items. This was by far my worst experience shopping ever. David, the employee that helped me, was never attentive and didn't seem like he wanted to make a sale. He and the other employees stood around the register and talked about Pitbull rather than helping out any of the customers in the store. When I was trying on the shoes, he pulled me into their conversation. No! Talk to me about these freaking shoes! Then he brought me some socks that would "match my shoes." Worst salesman ever. Worst shopping experience ever. I was tempted to just walk out and buy those shoes online so David doesn't get credit. But I needed them for my Disneyland trip which was three days away. Never again! Terrible customer service; truly abysmal and clueless. There are 3 employees (all guys) hanging around the cash register while I wonder up and down looking at shoes. I really want some advice and recommendations but not one of the three sloths makes any effort to help me. I realize I'm on my own here. I pick out a couple of pair, walk over to the cashier register and ask for size 9. After a few minutes of one sloth scanning the shoes with some instrument clearly designed to replace the inability of sloths to search the storage in the back of the store, he informs me only size 11 in one pair and 8-1/2 or 9-1/2 in the other pair. Eventually the sloth returns with a box of 9-1/2s that he puts next to me on the bench I'm sitting on, not even bothering to open up the box. Needless to say, they are too big. I leave and go to DSW, with a much wider selection and my sizes! The customer service at DSW, which is intended to be self-serve, is far superior to Footlocker at UTC. Never again! read more

Today Aug7 I drove 40 mins away from my home to pick up the Nike 97 that were the last ones in store . I was headed towards the UTC mall . The moment I walk into the door a gentlemen named falcon was very rude and didn't provide the same costumer service to me . I felt disrespected especially since I did not know the area and I'm also a VIP memeber . I had asked him to help me find a size , in which in did. Although , the lady next to me falcon was able to hand her the shoes and when I asked him " hey do you also have my pair " he said he couldn't handle it to me and told me to get it at other side . In which I thought was rude . I asked him questions about the shoes and he was very vague . Although with other " races " he was super helpful . Worst Footlocker ever!!! My wife called in looking for a jacket for our son and Lavonne answered. My wife asked her about the jacket and was immediately put on hold or at least the phone was put down because she could hear people arguing in the back. After a 7 minute wait a lady rudely answered the phone and hung up on my wife. At this point my wife was upset, so she called back and let the associate know that they hung up on her after being put on hold and asked again about the jacket just to be told that it wasn't at there location. I've bought my shoes only at FootLocker for years and I'm thinking I might have to find a different store. I'm surprised to see the yelps below because this place is by far the best FOOTLOCKER and Hoh (house of Hoops) in San Diego!! The people at fashion valley can't compete in service. The selection is dope and I have purchased plenty of shoes there already. They even know their stuff, I heard a Guest coming in asking for a specific asics running shoe right next to the Reeboks and the dude knew right where to go and to ask to see his size, they don't just know basketball shoes people! I've previously worked with a few different people and 2 of them remembered me everytime I came in and asked about my previous purchase and how the shoes went. They are nice, fun, attentive and show appreciation for you coming in. They greet you with a warm welcome, help you find what you need and if they don't have it they find it or something else for you.
