If you're looking for standard Crocs in normal colors, you're not going to be saving a ton of money here unless you're planning on buying multiple sizes/colors/styles. it just feels like this location is only hear because they know Crocs are popular and people will just go 'oh, this is an outlet store. Must be good prices.' But if you just sit & think about how much you're saving you will see it's really not a ton. Especially if you have kids coming in & you're adding charms to your purchases. Things add up fast here to where you're really paying the same prices you'd be paying at any other store that sells Crocs.

But an associate helpfully led me to the shelf that had the shoe I was interested in. I tried different options but found that I needed extra wide, which was not available in my size. I was ready to give up since the shoe was on Amazon at the same price, but the associate came back to check on me. I told her about my requirements and she checked the back and they actually had the shoe that I wanted! There was also a 40% off sale here, and the return policy is a generous 45 days, better than Amazon's 30 days. So it totally made sense to buy here, and it also supports our city. Shopping at outlet stores doesn't always get you the best price, but in this case it absolutely did!

In all, Famous Footwear is a great place to start your day of shopping at the Camarillo outlets.

REVIEW: Per usual, my shopping experiences at retail stores are ^always hit and miss. I've been to several Big 5's in the area and not one of my experiences has been better/worse than the others. Exactly. The. Same. I seem to interact with (at least) one great customer service employee, usually working in the shoe department. Most times I can find what I need in shoe, color, and size. When I ask a few questions about coupons and the like, the response is "you'll have to check up front". OK, no problama. When I spoke with the young employee about any coupon offers, it was as if i was pulling teeth from her. I also asked for a price check on an item I was interested in purchasing, and when I pressed further for it, she had an absolute flat affect that I wondered if she was was OK. (Literally). The price check inquiry ended up opening a huge can of worms as it wasn't in the system at all, etc. etc. The young manager came up and gave it his best shot, but to no avail. We are living in different times. However, if customer service isn't a deal breaker for you, I would recommend stopping by here.
