Dameron Dentistry said they would not need any radiographs taken, for a teeth cleaning visit, if my…read morelast set was within 1 year and they were. I had the radiograph set sent to their office and only when I was in the chair they started saying the radiographs were "grainy" and of sub par quality and that a full new set needs to be taken (costing hundreds of dollars more). I was only there for a routine teeth cleaning visit, no root canal, crown or even injection into the nerve roots was required. The female dentist refused to proceed with exam or cleaning unless I had a full new set of radiographs taken, subjecting me to completely unnecessary ionizing radiation when they had a full set including panoramic view taken less than a year ago. I feel this is a financially predatory practice policy that subjects the patient to unnecessary radiation. You should be able to trust your dentist, however, I would not trust them with any of their care recommendations after seeing how money focused they are with a routine teeth cleaning visit.

We have always had such attentiveness. Not today. I called to make a cleaning appt in May for one of my college age kids, which I understand May is booked. But the girl didn't offer to put us on a cancellation list or anything... she just sat there and said "sorry". So I said, it seems like the office is too busy for us "we are busy". I would've had more conversation and solutions with Alexa or Siri. I hope y'all find a solution to this issue before more families of 5 leave. Such a disappointing shame.
