The special included a smash burger, fries, and a drink--a solid combo for the price. The burger was flavorful, the fries were fresh, and it was a great value overall. Just a heads-up: they do get pretty busy on Wednesdays because of the promotion, so expect a bit of a wait during peak hours. I'm not sure how long they'll be running the special, but it's worth taking advantage of while it's available. Been seeing this place come across my Instagram. They have a Wednesday single patty combo special for $7 or $7.50 with cheese includes regular or sweet potato fries and a drink. When I arrived there was a line and lots of people waiting for orders it took about 10 minutes for me to get to the front of the line to order. Service was friendly. I ordered mine with cheese and it took about 10 minutes to receive my order. Patty was thin, had onions and some kind of sauce. Not a very good quality patty in my opinion. For $7.50 though, I cant complain. Fries were ok. Would I visit again, no. Much better and better tasting and quality options out there for smash-burgers. read more

Ok so finally tried both For the win and tacos 1986. Out the two for the win did get the win but the competition was really a player. The burger is somewhat small the taste was good but to get to this place you have to park your car walk through parking lot into casino past the gambling towards the back of casino to get there...as stated in the review for tacos 1986 not sure if worth it maybe for Wednesday special for lunch. The place was clean service was friendly. I believe Rampart made bad decision not by these two but Nom Wha....why because Summerlin is and mostly Las Vegas is missing one restaurant that I believe would be a hit. Mongolian bbq!!! For the Win is located in the new "food court" in the Rampart Casino nka The Resort at Summerlin. I stumbled upon it on a Wednesday when I went to pick up my free casino gift. The first thing that I noticed was the long line (which is generally a good sign). The second thing that I noticed was that on Wednesday they have a $7.00 hamburger combo deal ($7.50 for a cheeseburger). The combo comes with fries and a drink. They serve Pepsi products including Pepsi Zero. I was greeted by Raychel who was taking orders. She was very friendly, patient, and answered all my questions. I ordered 2 plain cheeseburger combos (meat, cheese, and bun) and a hamburger combo. The smashburgers AND fries were delicious. Both boys enjoyed the cheeseburger combos and I thoroughly enjoyed the hamburger combo. Normally I am not a fan of smashburgers but will make it a point to stop in again. There is a good amount of seating at For the Win and also countertop dining. The mood was pretty upbeat and busy. I thought it was a little pricey for what it is. It still tasted great but not worth $10 for the size. It had good flavor for the meat. It is a little on the greasy side for me. The cheese was melted all around. Service was great, the cashier was friendly. There are a good amount of tables in the dining area. They share the same kitchen space as Tacos 1986 next door. The food came out in about 5-10 minutes and they gave me a big smile. Stopped by because I heard this is the best smashed burger from LA. Let's preface by saying I've lived in San Diego for many years and have had the best smashed burger there. If you wanna know just message me and I'll tell you the spot. Located in the former Rampart Casino in the food hall (love the restaurants.) The line wasn't too long and wait wasn't that bad either. Ordered a single cheese burger add bacon no sauces. Something was a bit salty and I think it was the patty as I watched the worker cooking seasoning the patties while it was being cooked. And mind you I love salt. The fries were delicious. Nice hot and tasty. What caught my attention are the seats by the prep line. Not only did they have outlets, it also had the bag holder. Yay!!!! Service was awesome but sad that we asked a worker (who were cleaning tables) to clean our table and after he was done we had to wipe it again. Errr there was food stuck to the table and he didn't take it off. Basically he made the table wet. Now the real negative in my opinion. The music was extremely LOUD. It was hard to have a conversation with our friends. It was like a night club. I think they have the product but unfortunately the music was too much. Located in the new food court area, this will definitely be a place I return to. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place was. I was cheerfully greeted right away. Cashier reviewed the menu with me and took my order. He recapped the order which I thought was good because he made a mistake. I didn't have to wait long until I got my food. The double-cheeseburger was way better than expected! Super juicy and tasty! Yes, I had to pay extra for lettuce and tomatoes but to be fair, almost every burger joint now charges extra for those. I was happy to see tomatoes even being offered because some burger places don't even provide veggies anymore. The french fries were delicious as well! The price, however, came up to $20.50 and that didn't include a drink. I would return here again but I wish the prices were a bit cheaper. read more

For The Win, a SoCal transplant, just opened up in the new food hall area at the Resort at Summerlin (formerly the JW Marriott). I've always wanted to try it when we were in LA but never got around to it. Menu is fairly simple but loved to see fried brussel sprouts as a side option. We ordered 2 double smashed cheese burgers, one add lettuce and bacon, and an order of sweet potato fries. Total with tax and tip around $37. Service was very friendly! While we waited, we enjoyed the music playing, it was a little loud, but better than hearing people's chatter. Food came out in good amount of time. So moment of truth. The burger was tasty, a little greasy, but definitely glad we got a double. I think a single patty wouldn't be able to taste the meat. The signature sauce tasted like traditional burger sauce, minus the relish. Sweet potato fries were crispy and light, but small portion and just standard fries. There was zero seasoning on them. I do have to say the burger was served on the tiniest plate, maybe better if it were wrapped in paper? We left still a little hungry. So head to head we prefer With Love Always. Its a little more expensive, but the meat is seasoned better and a bigger burger in general. Also fries serving is larger. IMHO. But, For The Win is a great addition to Summerlin area and a great option if your craving smashed burgers. read more

1 star compared to LA, 2 stars on an absolute scale. Not completely inedible, but nowhere close to the original locations. You can actually tell how this location is going to taste based on the pictures. Look at the photos of the actual meat here and then go to the glendale or Hollywood locations and look at theirs. Completely different. I've eaten countless times at the LA locations and theyre always smashed thin with tasty, mailliard-crispy edges. This location gives you what looks like partially-boiled, soggy patties with no crust and no flavor. Don't believe me? Look at the pictures. They are exactly the same as what I got today. A few years ago, when we were in LA for the Rose Bowl, and after a late night out on the Sunset Strip the previous evening, we stumbled into the OG location before our tour of the Warner Bros lot. It literally saved our lives, and was the best Smashburger I've ever had in my travels around the country and world. I wasn't nicknamed the Cheeseburglar growing up by accident. Is this the best smash in America? I would say YES. Now we finally have one here in Las Vegas. I was literally hanging by the window until they finally opened so, on Saturday, I was able to scarf down a pair of double cheeseburgers, one for lunch and then one for dinner because I'm weird (and stayed to gamble and went on a four-hour heater). I've had every Smashburger in town besides Nicco's $50 boiga and I can wholeheartedly say that this is the best Smashburger in Las Vegas. Stay Tuned. With Love Always. Smash & Slice. Delmonico Steakhouse. And so on, and so on. All great but For the Win is THE best you'll have in town and, in my opinion, the U.S. Super stoked they're here and in Summerlin. Perfect smash. Peppered with long onions smashed deep into the crispy smashed patty. Great pickles and a perfect smash sauce. Writing this review makes me want to head over again before I head out for St Patty's Day. Haha. Highly recommend. Only wish they served Coca-Cola products. I have a solution for that already (BYOP! Extremely disappointed with our experience at For the Win Hamburger Joint in Las Vegas. The portions were small and not filling at all. The burgers were completely flavorless and way overpriced for what you get. The fries were just ok, nothing special. Prices are ridiculous: $10 cheeseburger, $13 double cheeseburger, $4 fries, $9 shakes, and $5 soft serve. Waited a few weeks until after grand opening in hopes of experiencing better service and quality but instead, I left annoyed. Only one customer in front of me but had to wait 5 min to order. There is absolutely no sense of urgency with the customer service that the person who came before me and after me left the line. I ordered a hamburger combo and asked to upgrade from fries to brussel sprouts. I was told they can't replace the fries for brussel sprouts so I told them to add it to the order then. Worked out because I wanted to try both fries and brussels. I get home and there were no fries. On top of that the brussel sprouts were packed. It was soaked in grease and spilled all over my burger, the box, and eventually through the bag. Really disappointing first visit.
