    Cheeseburger

This place is in the new food court inside Rampart Casino. The menu is straight forward with burgers, fries, drinks, and shakes. We ordered their basic single patty cheeseburger that was $10. I thought it was a little pricey for what it is. It still tasted great but not worth $10 for the size. It had good flavor for the meat. It is a little on the greasy side for me. The cheese was melted all around. Service was great, the cashier was friendly. There are a good amount of tables in the dining area. They share the same kitchen space as Tacos 1986 next door. The food came out in about 5-10 minutes and they gave me a big smile. I'm not sure if I would come back since I live closer to other burger spots such as With Love Always but its worth giving it a try. It is a little far for me to go.

For the win is located in Rampart Casino in the food hall. The menu is pretty simple. Smash burgers, fries, Brussels, shakes. The burgers are solid but salty. I did not like the fact that you had to pay to add some ingredients like lettuce or tomato. Also pay for sauce. Don't nickel and dime us. The fries were very crispy and good but kind of a small order. The Brussels were very good, crispy and delicious with balsamic glaze. Use the fry sauce (.99c). I ordered a double add jalapeño, and 2 singles, 1 fry, 1 Brussels, 2 drinks and paid $55. A bit high for my liking but it was very tasty.

Located in the new food court area, this will definitely be a place I return to. The first thing I noticed was how clean the place was. I was cheerfully greeted right away. Cashier reviewed the menu with me and took my order. He recapped the order which I thought was good because he made a mistake. I didn't have to wait long until I got my food. The double-cheeseburger was way better than expected! Super juicy and tasty! Yes, I had to pay extra for lettuce and tomatoes but to be fair, almost every burger joint now charges extra for those. I was happy to see tomatoes even being offered because some burger places don't even provide veggies anymore. The french fries were delicious as well! The price, however, came up to $20.50 and that didn't include a drink. I would return here again but I wish the prices were a bit cheaper.

Stopped by because I heard this is the best smashed burger from LA. Let's preface by saying I've lived in San Diego for many years and have had the best smashed burger there. If you wanna know just message me and I'll tell you the spot. Located in the former Rampart Casino in the food hall (love the restaurants.) The line wasn't too long and wait wasn't that bad either. Ordered a single cheese burger add bacon no sauces. Something was a bit salty and I think it was the patty as I watched the worker cooking seasoning the patties while it was being cooked. And mind you I love salt. The fries were delicious. Nice hot and tasty. What caught my attention are the seats by the prep line. Not only did they have outlets, it also had the bag holder. Yay!!!! Service was awesome but sad that we asked a worker (who were cleaning tables) to clean our table and after he was done we had to wipe it again. Errr there was food stuck to the table and he didn't take it off. Basically he made the table wet. Now the real negative in my opinion. The music was extremely LOUD. It was hard to have a conversation with our friends. It was like a night club. I think they have the product but unfortunately the music was too much. Overall, I'd come back, order food and take it outside on a cooler day. I wish I had ear plugs. Lol. Come by and check them out.

Baller..... I absolutely love this place!! Know you are going to pay Vegas/Hotel prices for the burger and you will not be disappointed because it really is delicious. Fun environment with some awesome restaurants right next door!

This was my first time eating there, I really liked the smash burger, the fries were crunchy and hot, not greasy. The double cheese combo was $19.50. I'd eat there again, try them I think you'll like the burger.

As someone who loves a good burger, this spot seriously impressed me. The burgers were amazing, juicy, flavorful, meaty and just done right. The fries might look simple and a little bland at first glance, but don't let that fool you... they're actually so good. This might honestly be one of my favorite burger spots in Vegas now. Only downside is parking, you have to park at the casino and walk through, but it's definitely worth it. Service was just okay, nothing standout, but the food more than made up for it. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and it's a cool, well decorated corner suite right next to Tacos 1986.

Finally tried For the Win! I heard really good things about this place as one of the best burgers from LA. I liked the burger but nothing really stood out to me that would make me come back.

Smash double cheeseburgers, (left, add lettuce and bacon) with sweet potato fries
    Jane M.

For The Win, a SoCal transplant, just opened up in the new food hall area at the Resort at Summerlin (formerly the JW Marriott). I've always wanted to try it when we were in LA but never got around to it. Menu is fairly simple but loved to see fried brussel sprouts as a side option. We ordered 2 double smashed cheese burgers, one add lettuce and bacon, and an order of sweet potato fries. Total with tax and tip around $37. Service was very friendly! While we waited, we enjoyed the music playing, it was a little loud, but better than hearing people's chatter. Food came out in good amount of time. So moment of truth. The burger was tasty, a little greasy, but definitely glad we got a double. I think a single patty wouldn't be able to taste the meat. The signature sauce tasted like traditional burger sauce, minus the relish. Sweet potato fries were crispy and light, but small portion and just standard fries. There was zero seasoning on them. I do have to say the burger was served on the tiniest plate, maybe better if it were wrapped in paper? We left still a little hungry. So head to head we prefer With Love Always. Its a little more expensive, but the meat is seasoned better and a bigger burger in general. Also fries serving is larger. IMHO. But, For The Win is a great addition to Summerlin area and a great option if your craving smashed burgers.

    Smashburger
    Norma A.

So disappointed with this smashburger! The size was quite small. Bun was flat and not looking fresh. Flavor of the burger was mediocre. Extra charge for cheese, tomato and lettuce! For goodness sakes, the cost of a tomato and lettuce is inexpensive. If they're trying to save money, just put one slice of a tomato and a small piece of lettuce! Sounds like these kind of places are like the airlines with nit picky additional fees! How can they expect repeat customers?

    Weelowie K.

I'm not a big burger foodie but I have to admit, their burger and fries were excellent! The fries were crunchy and it was cooked just right. The seasoning on their smash burgers were tasty. Next time we'll try some dessert and the sweet potato fries. Their service was quick! The cashier taking orders energy and vibe didn't go down the whole time I was observing him. He was very welcoming and friendly with every guest, and we were there for a while! Can't wait to be back!

Best smash burger in Vegas…read more You know the type of burger you just crave and always suggest on a night out..or if your in a few mile radius you throw this option out type of good. I'm a local and know the neighborhood, yes it's in Nekkid city, its in a dive bar, and small. That's the charm. Every person me and my partner take out on a night it almost always begins here. We get to see there face perplexed once we arrive, relax the second they step inside and get a whiff of those burgers and they lick alllll of that clean. It's simple a smashed patty, chopped onions, cheese, sauce, homemade pickles soft buns - when you get the simple stuff down right it just hits so deeply. The tots are no frills crispy little bites, I don't get tots anywhere but here. Just go.

Warning: Stay Tuned Burger is located INSIDE the Hard Hat lounge. This is a bar, so unfortunately minors can not go inside. There is a bunch of outdoor seating which was perfect for our group of 15+ kids :) The Vibe: Walking in, I was smacked in the face with an overwhelming feeling of nostalgia! The dim lighting, the neon signs, the tube TVs. It was like I stepped back in time. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a cigarette dispenser near the bathrooms (I didn't venture to look for it, although now I wish I had!) I'm a big fan of dive bars, and the Hard Hat Lounge was giving me life. The Process: After taking in the vibe, it was time to order. I walked up to the counter and reviewed the super simple/straight forward menu. I don't know if there is a "secret" menu, but we were there for one thing, and one thing only: the burger. The staff were super friendly, and attentive. Got our order in, and stepped over to the bar to grab some drinks; a beer for me, and a mexican coca cola for my son that was waiting outside. The Food: In about 10mins, our number was called and I brought out the goods; 2 Doubles and an order of tots. If you don't like smash burgers, this isn't the place for you. Simple and straight forward burger. The meat was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The sauce was not over powering. I loved the diced onions; whole onion slices can be overpowering. The pickles!! I'm a sucker for house made pickles, and these DID NOT disappoint. I could eat a whole plate of those. The tots... you can easily mess up tots, but these were crisp and well seasoned. We didn't try them with the sauce and all the fixins, but they were simple and delicious on there own. All in all we had a enjoyed our visit, and will be back the next time we're in town :)

Anyway. I was given a brief 20 minute wait time-- which was cut short nearly immediately when a wonderful host expressed that our deep oak, firmly planted, chocolatey brown table with our plush, blue leather seats was ready. Anyway. We sat down. The menu cover was incredible. A fresh, leather cover with brief, punctual text. Anyway. I ordered Gordon Ramsay's Southwestern Burger with just fries. Wow. Anyway. When it first came out, I saw it. The appealingly freshly toasted bun with freshly picked produce from the plentiful garden and freshly butchered and cooked beef. This was all alleged, however. Anyway. I took a bite. Then it hit me. When I was a young boy, I was playing outside in the garden. Suddenly, a vicious dog--foreshadowing the fierce streets of Las Vegas Blvd S--came upon me and began to snarl and bark at me. Scared for my life, I retreated to the beautiful, tall, lush, old, grand, plush, velvety, deep green tree that was in our yard. I began to climb the tree, which was easily 50 feet tall. As an inexperienced climber at this point-- on the sunny, bright blue day that dawned over me at the infant young age of 7, I was unable to successfully climb the tree. Anyway. I fell down the fifty feet and landed promptly in front of the vicious dog. Crying, I ran inside. At this point, I saw it. The beautifully crafted, plush cheeseburger that was wonderfully and expertly crafted by my mother. First, I tasted the freshly baked bread, I could taste the kneading that went into combining the freshly milled flour--from wheat at my best friend's field-- combined with the freshly filtered water, filtered from the town's local water tower (which my best friend's father's coworker single-handedly built upon settlement of our town.. but let's not stray from the topic.) and lastly, the freshly ground cave salt from the local mine shaft, managed by my sister's best friend's dog sitter, who was quite the fellow. Anyway. I then tasted the produce, freshly grown from my mother's garden. Fertilized by fresh organic waste and seasoned daily with fresh herbs and spices that came from my local farmers market--which occurs once every spring on the second Thursday. Anyway. The beefy patty-- which came from my childhood cow, who was raised for a proximal 40 years before he liberally passed away on the plush, green field in our very own back yard. Anyway. Back to the restaurant. I vividly tasted those very delicious hints that I just expressed. The freshly baked seaseme seed bun-- the fresh, perfectly sweet vegetables (with a special mention for the lettuce, which was the softest, most delightful--absent of cyclospora-- lettuce I had ever tasted). Anyway. The beef, which was perfectly seasoned and wonderfully medium pink in the center, and the INCREDIBLE cheese-- which was likely made in house by the experienced chefs. I recommend this establishment to anyone who dislikes food, but instead, LOVES food. thank you for your attention to this matter. #ferda
