I've wanted to try out a Ford's Garage for a while. We were out for my wife's birthday, and ran across this location, so we stopped. SO glad we did! Walking up to the restaurant, the exterior was very appealing. It was super clean, and super inviting. Two antique Fords and some old bubbler gas-pumps greet us at the entrance. It makes for an extremely welcoming environment. My first stop was in the restroom, which is uniquely decorated with kegs for urinals, wheels/tires for sinks, and gas pump handles to open the door. The decor inside is pure candy to the eyes of a car-guy like me, with signage, memorabilia and even another antique Ford suspended above the bar with rolling wheels in mid-air! The menu is classic comfort-food with a twist, and pricing on the higher side of affordable. I simply could not resist the bbq pulled-pork mac & cheese, and my wife had the burnt-ends briquet sandwich. Mine was completely delicious, and my wife found the bacon-jam to be too sweet for her liking. Every one we interacted with at this location was fantastic. They were warm and displayed down-home hospitality, with many of them dressed in mechanics garb to fit the automotive theme. We had a great experience at the bar, the ice aspect of the bar was the coolest thing ever. Our service was really great and the food was delicious. They sure do know how to make a burger. The pretzels were so light and warm and I would 100% order time and time again. We're really happy they opened up this location, it's a great addition to the area. read more

I'm giving Ford's Garage in Viera a 4 out of 5 stars based on two visits. These visits were about 2 months apart. Our first visit, I made a reservation request through their website, for a booth. We were seated promptly and had a spacious booth towards the back of the restaurant. Our second visit was without a reservation and we had a 15 minute wait. This time we sat at a 4 person table towards the middle of the restaurant. We were promptly serviced both times. Staff were always pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. The fries are quite delicious! The burgers we had were good! They were flavorful! The ingredients were fresh as well. I had ribs on my second visit. I enjoyed the ribs but I believe the meat itself needed more seasoning. The flavor was concentrated in the bbq sauce on the ribs only. The milkshakes are quite a treat and very well made. The ice cream used was top notch and by the dairy company Tillamook. They have indoor and outdoor seating! There is free wifi as well. I like how the restaurant is designed. Four of us visited yesterday right when it opened, and we all really enjoyed the food and service. I wish I could remember the name of our server because he was outstanding, very friendly and helpful. Two of us hadn't been there before so had questions about the menu that he was able to answer. I gave this 4 out of 5 stars for a few reasons: First, one of us was there with her special needs adult son, and he needed to use the bathroom, which was tricky because all of us were female. This is a brand new building, so there is no excuse for this company not to accommodate customers by including a family bathroom. What if a single dad wanted to bring his young daughter out to lunch there? What if Grandpa was in a wheelchair and needed help from his daughter? Second, there is way too much pork and meat in general on the menu. Even some of the salads had bacon in them, so this limits choices for those of us who don't eat pork or want to eat vegetarian. Finally, the lunch menu had some interesting selections, but if you wanted something like a burger, you get chips instead of fries. If you want a burger and fries, it's $6 extra, which seems extreme for something as simple as French fries. That said, the food we had was delicious: patty melt and fries; chicken tenders; grilled cheese and soup; and chopped salad with grilled chicken. The decor and atmosphere was fun, and while the place is huge, I appreciated that there weren't a zillion TVs turned on full blast. read more

If I could I would rate this at 3.5 stars, but I will err on the side of fairness... ...why? Well, the service was really, really good. Our waitress was friendly, personable, and dealt with all our requests and questions with sincere patience. I will say, after the greeting we received - not as hearty as the service - it was a pleasant surprise. Foodwise, the meals were solid - My wife had their chicken bowl which she enjoyed but could not finish. The friend had the beef tips sandwich - which she also enjoyed and couldn't finish. I had their signature ribs which I was not impressed with at all - dry and tough, the only thing that kept it edible was the sauce. I will mention that the sides of their cream corned and the sweet potato tots were special. Overall, it is a solid place - plenty of things to see, plenty of TVs to distract, a great amount of seating inside and quite a bit out, and what looks to be a really nice bar I'll have to try in the future... read more

We've been to Fords Garage a few times but never left a review. * Today I got the Ford's Signature Hamburger. (Tillamook® Sharp Cheddar, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Bourbon BBQ Sauce, Crisp Lettuce, Tomato, and Red Onion on a Brioche Bun). I thought it was really good and full of flavor! Also loved the fries! I also got the Old Fashioned Milkshake blended with Tillamook® Vanilla Ice Cream. I thought it was very good and loved the flavor but honestly way over priced for the size I got. The glass looks big but it was small. It only comes in one size. $8 is a bit much. Maybe more like $5 would be more in range. * My wife got the French Onion Soup (Caramelized Onions, Guinness Stout®, Homemade Crouton, and Tillamook® Melted Swiss). She said this is her favorite and is the best French Onion Soup she has had in a long time! She also got a salad with it. * We definitely love coming to Ford's Garage! We hadn't been to Ford's Garage for a couple of months, so we thought we'd give it a try for brunch today. There were about 25% of the tables full when we arrived at about 12:30. We noticed that a couple of tables that were seated after us had already received their drinks, and we had yet to be greeted by a server and it had been more than five minutes since we were at the table. We got up and walked out, told the two people at the front desk that we never saw a server and they didn't seem too concerned as we walked out of the restaurant. I would have made it a 5 star review if it wasn't for the bad customer service by the Manager! The food was excellent--served hot and with perfection. The server did a good job (with the exception of never offering to refill our beverages). But, the Manager (I use that title loosely) did not manage or do what he could to make the customer(s) happy. We had a large party and the seating was split to two tables, with a small table with another party in between our tables. The party occupying the small table between our two tables finished their meals and left, but the Manager refused to move our party's two tables closer together so our large party could speak to each other. read more

Wow super busy as expected 5 shopping days before Christmas and during the lunch rush. No accessible parking available but they went above and beyond by allowing me to park in their carry out parking and even placed a sign next to the parking spot to ensure no one parked me in. After only a short wait we were seated. Our waiter, Tim couldn't have been friendlier or more professional. The patty melt and chicken tenders were wonderful. You can't go wrong with the burgers here. The service was fast and the drinks kept coming without being asked. THAT is excellence for sure. The only issue was their ranch dressing. I usually love ranch and the first portion that came out tasted warm and spoiled. The second portion, our waiter stated it came from another container and it was cold but still something was off. I thoroughly enjoyed our meal except for this. Overall during the busiest time of year, this Fords Garage was outstanding in service, and food. Everything you could want in a restaurant! Had a great experience at Ford's Garage! The food was absolutely delicious -- I had the brisket sandwich and the pulled pork macaroni, and both were packed with flavor. For dessert, the Brokie Sundae was next-level -- rich, gooey, and the perfect sweet finish. We sat at the bar and the service was excellent the entire time -- friendly, fast, and attentive. I went with a long time friend who suggested Fords Garage. I was fascinated with the Model A's on the property and inside, LOVED it! My dad would have loved this place too. We used to restore those cars years ago. He's gone now so it's special for me. Anyway, the appetizers and food were very good. I had a steak that was cooked just the way I wanted it... no mooing. My friend said his food was excellent also. The service was good considering they were busy that evening. Just wish the noise level was lower (people today are much louder in restaurants than years ago). Other than that I'd definitely go back again since my friends and I don't live far from there. However the main reason I am leaving this review is due to the best service I hands-down have ever had. Alyssa waited on my table and took the time to explain the menu, make excellent recommendations, and had the most uplifting and refreshing personality I have ever met.
