2nd Vierra restaurant on our list. Fords is a novel themed restaurant that is as interesting to look around as it is to eat in. Happy hour gives you $4 beers and $6 dollar wines but if you eat at the bar you can get a burger and beer for $10 beat that McD's. We sat in the restaurant and had the burgers. Both were excellent, freshly cooked and tasty. The wife had the brioche bun i had the pretzel, i would go brioche next time. One other thing i noticed as an eagle eyed brit. The fish n chips here is actually one big fillet not those mangy little 3 pieces they serve in PNW. So hats off to fords it looked pretty good too but the chips were french fries which was a shame but the fish wins so no moaning C J. Nice place. We're here during lunch and the lunch break specials were good. I had the 1/3 lb Roadster burger cooked to my liking. My wife had the lunch break fish sandwich and boy the piece of fish was big. The chips were fried here on site. Overall a good place. Not sure why this place is all the hype. Went after work to meet up with some old coworkers for drinks and apps. Maybe an entree if the drinks got to us. Which it did. Lol. No reservations. 2 of us walked in around 5:10pm and the other people walked in about 5 mins apart after us. Seated right away. Greeted and seated. Parking lot seemed full and thought service was going to a bit slow. Turns out. It wasn't too shabby. However our waitress must've forgotten her listening ears because 2 of our orders came out wrong and my margarita came out frozen when I asked for it on the rocks. I got the Ford's Signature WITHOUT tomato and onions. What does it come out with? Tomatoes and onions. Burger was dry as a rock. Didn't finish it. Didn't take it home either. No thanks. Someone else got salmon and wanted fries and veggies as sides. Got veggies and no fries. We really didn't have the energy to have to wave her down and correct all this. I could easily take out the onions and tomato. And I shared my fries. She kept coming back and asking us what order was what. This place is really loud. Minimal noise. Fine. But the atmosphere and environment doesn't make for a good catch up spot. I'm disappointed in the food. My burger was not good at all. Was asked how I would like my burger. I said medium and it came out practically all the way cooked. My drink was frozen instead of on the rocks. Idk our waitress made it for a bad experience I didn't enjoy it at all. For working near here and driving by to go to Wawa or Chic-Fil-A I'd rather have gone there. Will not be back. Not for a long while at least. Lastly, we didn't ask for the check to be split multiple ways. Just to be split 2 ways and we some how got the check and it was split into 3 ways. One of the tabs was split in half. He was ready to get our order in and every time he passed the table he made sure we were good and was so attentive ...even though he had tables scattered there was never a missed moment for checking in on us. Had ordered through door dash 2 burgers medium and medium well. Threw them both out after a few bites. Meat was not cooked to order, dry and extremely salty with no juices. The burger prices were over $20. When I reached out to the manager, I was told to get refunded through door dash which I don't see how. I was told nexr time to order directly. The staff are so friendly and we were able to get seated in 5-10 minutes, party of 8. That is not the norm though. We have heard wait times to be around 45 mins averaged from friends who have also gone. The whole vibe is great. My son really liked their door handles and their bathroom sinks. Tony (manager/owner)? We didn't ask his title. He was friendly and personable. Kelsey our server was great too! She was so kind and knew the menu and had fantastic suggestions. The food was delicious and Jasmine, our server/bartender was excellent. We ordered a second beer and it had a very distinct odor of cologne on it. We asked for a new beer with Jasmine's trainee and explained the situation. After smelling, she agreed. Not even two seconds later, the barback walked by and had this distinct same odor as what was on the glass. We then explained this to Jasmine and she totally agreed. We observed him pulling his shirt up and wiping his side nose and cheek because he was perspiring. Then he would pick up roughly 12 glasses in a stack and lean them against his shirt that he just wiped his face with. It was also against his armpits... I just retired from the service industry and know that when an employee walked by and has an excessive amount of cologne or perfume on their immediately told, go and wash it off. What was even more upsetting was the fact that she never told a manager or pulled him aside to confront him and watch him do it two more times. A good choice for a lunchtime meal in the Viera area Ford's Garage was established in 2012 in Fort Myers, Florida, near where Henry Ford had his winter residence. The chain has expanded to 22 locations across the United States. I recently visited the recently opened Viera, Florida location. It follows the motor car theme with Gas pump nozzle door handles, Classic Ford cars in front, hose clamp napkin rings, and grease rag style napkins. You check in at the front desk, give them your cell phone number, and they text you when your table is ready. The day I went it was less than a 5 min wait. The seating is a mix of tables and booths inside and tables outside. There is a bar in the middle that looked like they had a good selection. The waiter came quickly and took our food and drink order. The menu offers a variety of gourmet burgers, comfort foods, and a substantial selection of craft beers. The prices seem a little high but they have a good lunch special that I took advantage of making my lunch price of burger, fries, and a drink about $15. The food came out amazingly quickly and it was an excellent burger. I was not a fan of the french fries or the tea but I plan to return for another hamburger. It is a very open dining area and may not be ideal for those seeking a quiet dining experience. Overall, Ford's Garage in Viera was an enjoyable dining experience and a good choice for people wanting to get some quality food and excellent service, in a nostalgic automotive-themed environment. read more

I wanted to wait for the crowds to die down, but it wasn't happening so I finally decided to give this place a shot. Both times I've sat by myself at the bar for happy hour ( 4pm-6pm) and have been very impressed. For just 10 bucks, you can get a happy hour burger with fries and a beer. That is an incredible deal considering most beers alone these days are $6-$8. Now, the burger is a bit smaller -- a quarter pounder -- but it's still a solid deal. If you really want to combine portions and value, you can add a $6 happy hour order of the chicken bites. The bar crowd is always an eclectic mix of old car guys, futuristic viera yuppies, traveling salesmen and everything else you can imagine. It's a fun place with nice theming. The chili that i ordered came in a very small bowl that looked like a cup. It looked like a child's meal. The bowl was not filled up either. I was very very disappointed and then they have the nerve to charge $9.99 for this kid's meal. No crackers and then i had to pay $1.00 for 2 slices of toast to eat with my chili. The chili was good, but it should be served in a bigger bowl that actually looks like a bowl!!!! They should also have crackers available to serve along with the chili. Again, the chili was awesome. I am just not satisfied with the portion that i was served. This is not good. I would of had to order two bowls of chili to feel full. Shame!!!! read more

I had lunch with a friend today. I've been wanting to try this restaurant for some time, and today was my first opportunity. Unfortunately, this opportunity did not get off to a good start. We were seated immediately, but waited for a long time before we were acknowledged and given a glass of water. A couple came in after us, ordered, and had begun eating before a THIRD waitress came to our table and took our order. Our meals arrived quickly and the rest of our visit was excellent. I ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna with rice and it was perfect in every way. My experience is at best, mixed: the food was excellent, the venue was interesting and the service, once we got it, was good. I think that my reaction here is that, although I had a very good lunch, I can get the same meal elsewhere and have no reason to go out of my way to visit Ford's Garage again. read more

My wife took our adult daughters and adult granddaughters here for one of their family ladies' night out last week. They all ordered something different and shared. All said the burgers were juicy and tasty and done to perfection. Service was good even though the restaurant was crowded. So, for one of our teen granddaughter's individual Grandpa & Grandma Sunday brunch turns, we went to Ford's Garage Restaurant for brunch. All I can say is, don't bother. Wait until lunch or supper. The burgers are excellent. My wife ordered the breakfast skillet and said it was good. Our granddaughter and I ordered the breakfast burritos. They were supposed to have: Fresh Scrambled Eggs, Crispy Bacon, Ford's Classic Tots, Pico de Gallo, and Tillamook® Pepper Jack Cheese Wrapped in a Warm Tortilla, Served with Chipotle Aioli, Salsa, and Breakfast Potatoes, (from the menu). Mine came with fluffy scrambled eggs, limp cooked bacon pieces, breakfast potatoes, a very tiny cup of salsa and Chipotle Aioli. The tortilla burrito was grilled on a quesadilla press. There was no pico de gallo. There was no pepper jack cheese. There were no Ford's classic tots. My wife ordered a glass of unsweetened ice tea to drink and the ice was completely melted before the food came out. We had to ask for more ice. I ordered coffee and finished the first cup before the food came out. I pushed my empty cup to the front of the table so wait staff, (counted 16), could see it was empty. My granddaughter had ordered hot soft pretzel for appetizer and when 2 wait staff delivered it, I asked for more coffee. They walked away, (not seeing the empty cup, not hearing me?). When our food came out I had to call the waitress's attention to the empty cup. She brought more coffee. Coffee was good-not excellent. So, bottom line: go to Ford's Garage for lunch or supper menu and be happy. Avoid Brunch. read more

Ford Garage is always a fun treat. This is a new location and the service was nice and friendly. Since it's new there was a bit of a wait but not too long. The bar seemed to have a little trouble knowing how to mix certain drinks. Newly opened restaurants usually have a few kinks to work out, but I know they will get it worked out soon enough.
