The menu has 2 salmon entrees; one is blackened with lime butter sauce & one is grilled with no sauce. We all ordered the grilled salmon & asked them to put the lime sauce on this entree. "Sure!" she says. When the dinners come out, there's no sauce on any of them. So we remind her we wanted the lime sauce, which she brought & added one dollar to our bills. !!!what??? First time here and we were blown away with the theming. We loved the first impression of gas pump door handles to the HUGE Ford car over the bar. We loved it. The food was delicious. Our favorite was the peanut butter burger. Ohhhh my goodness that was good. I split it and it was very filling even by half. We also loved the onion rings presentation on the funnel. The service was ok. Once he remembered we were there. We sat for over 20 minutes and when the server finally returned to get our DRINK order ( yeah we sat for a long time without attention) he actually told us he forgot about us and apologized. I have never had that happen before and it was just.....odd. The restaurant was not busy at all in the lunch hour. I will not be naming him! This is my second time going to a Ford's Garage. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The let us know upon arrival that their service is now collective and that they add gratuity that is distributed among the team so we may not have the same server. I think that worked out great and our food came in a timely manner and was delicious. I had the chicken wings at the other location I went to and this one was just as good so points for consistency! Haven't visited in a while . . . went for lunch with a friend today, Monday. It was DEAD at lunch time - which was a sign even though it was Monday. When we walked in the hostess informed us of the automatic 20% 'service fee' because their employees "are all commission based" - "if that is alright with us". Thought it was a strange way of stating it so i flatly verified that this 20% commission-based service fee was the gratuity - she responded "yes". I ordered off their 'weekday' lunch menu . . . it was between the chicken sandwich or the thai chicken salad. The server/bartender recommended the sandwich since it was more food. The description referenced including some honey mustard on it which is usually find since it's usually delivered on the side or very minimally put on. When it was delivered, I had also asked for a side of mayo - just in case. I took the top of the bun off the sandwich to put some mayo on and it looked like they poured half a bottle of it on top - covering the roll and the chicken. I began scraping off the mustard since it was WAY too much - and quite honestly didn't taste like honey mustard, but straight mustard. The server walked up and said "wow that's alot of mustard" which i replied yea, i'm trying to scrape it off. At that time, I was expecting her to offer to have them remake the sandwich properly, but she didn't - she just walked away. I took a couple of bites of the sandwich and 3 onion rings (my side which cost $1.59 more instead of chips). I couldn't eat it as it was truly covered in mustard - the was on some of the onion rings. When the server stopped by and asked if we were done with our plates, I revisited the issue and said "yea, it was way too much mustard" - clearly I couldn't eat it. She took the plates away and that was that. We got our bill to pay which we did - along with the 20% commission based service 'fee'. Was it her fault the sandwich was ruined? No, but it was her responsibility to take care of the customers and offer any type of solution. Will I return? No, not doing that again. It's a shame. read more

Among the best tasting chicken tenders I have tasted. Pretzel appetizer with cheese dip is a must. I had one of the most delicious Old Fashions, Burnout Old Fashioned made with Whistle Pig, fantastic flavor by added smoke. Our server, Brooke, was so friendly and cheerful. She was quick with the food and always stopping by to check on our party of 8 people. Whenever we come back to Florida for a visit, we will come and hopefully have Brooke as our server! We eat here fairly often, including ordering delivery at home. That should tell you something! All their burgers are well made and they have a huge variety on the menu. You can also add elements to any burger, like an egg or an onion ring. Any burger can made with your choice of patty: beef, bison, veggie, turkey, or even a chicken breast. Their fries are also amazing, which you know is super important for a burger joint! They have a variety of sides as well, if fries aren't your thing. Try the jalapeno cream corn! Service here is always pretty good, although the last time we went, we waited a while for our meal. We weren't in a huge rush, so we weren't bothered by it. The interior is quite large, with a car/garage theme. Lots of cute details to occupy your eyes while you wait. They also offer a variety of beers on tap, and they have a pretty big bar if you're looking to get your drink on. Ford's Garage is a super solid Oviedo dine. read more

I was a huge fan of Ford's. Good food. I was at the Oviedo location last Thursday and I actually thought the place was closed when I pulled up as there were very few cars in the lot. When I went in, there were literally only 6 tables occupied at 6:00. Come to find out, this location decided to add a 20% "service fee" to all orders. For that alone, I will never go back to Ford's with that bogus fee added to my bill. Then, they actually had the nerve to think I was going to tip on top of that 20% service fee. We've been coming to the Ford's Garage in Oviedo for about three years now, and it's consistently a great experience. My first experience at a Ford's Garage was in downtown Fort Myers years ago now, and while this location doesn't quite have the same OG ambiance, we're happy to have one close to home. One thing I do appreciate about this location is that they don't enforce the mandatory 20% service charge like the I-Drive location. I got the cheese CURBS to share, and had the Model 'A' burger (without bacon) as my entree. Love a good egg-on-a-burger combo! Our waitress was very kind and gave us a top tier service. The Ford's Garage in Oviedo is a great choice when I want a decent burger! The restaurant is located in Oviedo on the Park. They have a dedicated parking lot but there is other parking lots nearby if you need to park further. It can get busy inside. They also have some outside seating. Reservations can be made for tables of six or less people on their website. They have a waiting list you can get on for same day reservations. Love these options! Food is consistent. You can't go wrong with any of the burgers. They have delicious (and large) nachos as well as pretzels as appetizers. Don't forget about their long list of beer here too! My daughter and I had a very good experience at Ford's Garage in Oviedo. I had heard that this restaurant is famous for its excellent burgers. Our burgers were much better than we expected. They were large and juicy. Everything was delicious. The waitress was very attentive and helpful. When we checked in to get seated, they informed us that there was going to be a 20% automatic charge to tip employees that were not our waitress and that we were supposed to tip the waitress separately. We were glad that they explained this clearly upfront. The price of the burgers was reasonable. The restaurant was decorated with the automotive theme, which was fun. The window-door separating the outside eating area from the inside was open. Therefore we didn't freeze in the air conditioned temperature as in most restaurants. Luckily, I have a Ford's Garage right in Oviedo on the Park, where I live. So we got online, ordered some takeout, and went to get it. The food was ready on time, and the person I talked to was very friendly. I ordered the Jiffy Burger (American Cheese, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Crisp Lettuce, and Creamy Peanut Butter on a Brioche Bun). So good. Simple toppings, letting that peanut butter be the star of the show on the well-cooked burger patty. My only suggestion if that for takeout, I think the peanut butter needs to be served on the side. You never know how long that burger has to travel, and it can get very melty and just be all over everything by the time the customer gets to it. Side note. If you've never had a peanut butter burger, you must try it. It's not the sugar bomb Peter Pan you're used to at home. It's a more natural peanut butter with a very peanuty flavor, and it goes very well with the cheese and meat. Trust me. I also got to try the BBQ Brisket Burger (Tillamook® Sharp Cheddar, Bourbon BBQ Sauce, Hickory Smoked Brisket, Applewood Smoked Bacon, Red Onions, and Crispy Onion Straws on a Brioche Bun). The estate burger was a great option, the red onion marmalade and truffle aioli was a great mix of flavors. Sweet potato tots were crispy and fluffy. The caramel apple cookie skillet was warm gooey and delicious. There is a 20% gratuity charge added to your bill, with no further tip expected, however the staff more than deserve it with their quick, polite, and insightful service. I found myself tipping extra. The sides not so much, looking at the creamed corn with jalapeño , the first question was; is this corn chowder? There was an abundance of milky broth with a grease slick on top, not an impressive rich taste in fact fairly horrible. Mashed potatoes were meh. I wish I could have had good gluten free french fries or good gluten free chips. Took my little one and my nephew here for a little Friday night date after shopping and it was wonderful! I have visited about 4 other locations but I will say I love this one the most! Convenient to my home but also the service was high energy and wonderful ! My 4 year and our server had a blast dancing and talking. One of our go-to spots! We've been here many times and have never had a bad experience. We're always seated quickly, the service is consistently solid, and the food is great every time. I prefer this location over the one near the outlets--it's calmer and more laid-back. The menu has plenty beyond burgers (though the burgers are excellent), and there are great options for kids. I visited Ford garage with my friend on a Wednesday evening. There was no line and we were seated quickly near the entrance. I didn't order any drink, and just ordered the mushroom swiss burger with turkey instead of beef, with a side of broccoli instead of fries (16 dollars). We were surprised that it came pretty quickly. While the turkey meat wasn't juicy, it was nicely seasoned and had a small gamey flavor. The cheese added a good note, and there was a nice account of sauteed mushrooms. The lettuce and onion were fresh, but the onion was a bit strong. The broccoli was steamed and seasoned fine. Was looking for something healthier and less calories, and it worked out. Our server was friendly and good. She was quick to get our orders, deliver, and give us the check. The atmosphere is casual and Ford themed. It wasn't too crowded at 630, but picked up later in the evening. Unlike the branches in the tourist areas, there wasn't a service charge. I got lucky and was able to park close to the entrance. My friend sadly had to park a bit further and walk. Ford's garage is a decent chain for casual burgers. The service was fast and good, and the burgers were fine. Prices were pretty reasonable, and there were other menuq options than just burgers. Shakes and craft beer are available, as well as cocktails.
