I visited Ford garage with my friend on a Wednesday evening. There was no line and we were seated quickly near the entrance. I didn't order any drink, and just ordered the mushroom swiss burger with turkey instead of beef, with a side of broccoli instead of fries (16 dollars). We were surprised that it came pretty quickly. While the turkey meat wasn't juicy, it was nicely seasoned and had a small gamey flavor. The cheese added a good note, and there was a nice account of sauteed mushrooms. The lettuce and onion were fresh, but the onion was a bit strong. The broccoli was steamed and seasoned fine. Was looking for something healthier and less calories, and it worked out. Our server was friendly and good. She was quick to get our orders, deliver, and give us the check. The atmosphere is casual and Ford themed. It wasn't too crowded at 630, but picked up later in the evening. Unlike the branches in the tourist areas, there wasn't a service charge. I got lucky and was able to park close to the entrance. My friend sadly had to park a bit further and walk. Ford's garage is a decent chain for casual burgers. The service was fast and good, and the burgers were fine. Prices were pretty reasonable, and there were other menuq options than just burgers. Shakes and craft beer are available, as well as cocktails. I would visit again for casual burgers at a fair price, but would try other options as well next time. read more

This theme restaurant looks really nice outside and inside. Lot's of Ford references and their Model T replica looked like its ready to go. Very clean place. Our waiter is outstanding and he provided great service. But unfortunately, the food was the let down. We ordered a lot of food so I won't list everything. The burgers that we ordered medium, all came back as well done and some were more than that. The Mac n Cheese noodles were not cook fully (rubbery). Chicken tenders were crispy but dry. There were some food highlights such as the sweet potatoe fries, ribs, and the assorted deserts. If it wasn't for the great service, I would of rated as a two star. read more

I really wanna like this place. It's close to my apartment and it's a chill vibe. However, every time I come, service is lackluster. We came in today and sat at the bar. When we came in our bartender, Emily, wasn't busy. It took her a bit to get to us and we were fine waiting. However, we weren't fine once she got busy. I don't blame Emily. She had a full counter and was still knocking out drinks for the restaurant. She clearly needed some help. Unfortunately, her "manager", Stephanie, couldn't be bothered. She spent 10-15 min in the corner of the bar talking to her friends, while Emily was doing the best she could. Service was slow, food was mediocre. $15 for a skillet with tots, some veggies and an egg. Meanwhile we had to ask for silverware when everyone around us got theirs automatically. After Stephanie was done talking she looked at the bar and walked out. Again, I don't blame Emily for slow service. I blame "Management" for not observing their team member needed help. If this was a one off, would've not said anything. But this happens every time I'm here. I gave it a good ol' college try. But there's better options in Oviedo. read more

Really happy to have found this location. We frequent the one on I-Drive but this one is far more relaxed and local. We were greeted right away and seated without a wait. Staff was super friendly and the food was made exactly as ordered. I love to get the Estate Burger - it's my go to. The sweet potato tots are solid. The vibe inside is as expected with fun car mechanic theme throughout. The bar has a lifted Ford that honks and runs its engine at random times and our little one loves it every time. They also have UCF themed vintage Ford out front as they are close to the school, and it's a fun photo for students and alums. Here's an update with some explaination on why. Ford's asked if they could discuss our visit and it would not have been right to post a review and not give them a chance to respond. Turns out the day we went was day two for the new management and they were addressing staffing issues and concerns from the prior GM. They were very apoligetic and hoped we would give Ford's another shot which we did. When we arrived the place was busy and there was staff everywhere. We sat at the bar and were greeted right away by a very friendly bartender who took our order. We started with the Jalapeno Poppers which were really good, and they were spicy. I got the Green & Clean veggie burger which is one of the best veggie burgers I have tasted. The guacomole and chipotle ranch are a perfect compliment to the burger. And then there are the Classic Tot's - I don't know what they do but these are, hands down the best Tot's around. They are super crunchy but not over cooked. We enjoyed our meal and even though it was crowded, it is not super loud and service was spot on. Back to the new GM - They asked me to introduce myself when I came back which I did, but not until after we had paid our check and were walking out. Ford's Garage has opened a location in Oviedo, Florida. I found this interesting because most of the locations since they extended beyond southwest Florida are located in shopping outlets. I have been a huge fan of Ford's Garage since I first discovered this small, regional chain down in southwest Florida on a business trip down to Fort Myers. My go-to item at Ford's Garage is their High-Octane Burger, which is a half-pound hamburger with Tillamook Pepper Jack Cheese, guacamole, chipotle ketchup, chopped romaine lettuce, tomato, red onion and fresh jalapeño peppers on a brioche bun. I like spicy, so I am always looking for the spicy offerings. It comes with a side and I went with their truffle fries. I got this order to go and the staff their was friendly and professional. It was ready when promised and I was on my way. The burger was the usual fantastic, but the fries were a bit of a letdown. They definitely could have stayed in the oil a bit longer and they could have put a bit more truffle oil on the fries. Ford's Garage has a great vibe. It takes on the appearance or rather the trappings of an old school gas station. Ford's Garage is a fun place to head towards if you are in the mood for a very good burger. I would definitely recommend this particular location and despite the letdown with the fries, I will still give it five stars overall. read more

We have visited the Daytona and Tampa Ford's garage and so we tried the Oviedo one this date night. It is a lot smaller but easy to get a seat on a Thursday night and the same delicious food and fun car accents and shop. Christiannie was bubbly, friendly and efficient. They have gluten free items clearly marked with plenty of choices on the menu. I chose the mushroom Swiss burger w gluten free bun and green beans. It was savory and perfectly cooked to a medium rare. Sorry no pictures this time. My hubby had the fish and chips. It was the biggest piece of cod I've seen on a meal but the young man who brought it out, kitchen manager, assured us they are even bigger usually. He loved it! It was another great night. read more

This place is pretty unique! We visited with family and were quickly seated in a booth. They really stuck to the theme of a Ford's garage in every detail, down to the door handles and bathroom sinks. We ordered many things- our favorites were the American Standard burger and the Patty Melt. Both delicious. The Jiffy burger with peanut butter had to be tried by the teenager, but he said the peanut butter took over the entire taste. Two others had the salmon dish. They said the fish itself was good, but the mashed potatoes side was plain and needed seasoning. It's a good place to try for a variety of foods for even the pickiest eater. Went for dinner. We were told the kitchen was backed up so we had to wait to be seated. There were maybe 1/4 th the tables occupied. We sat near bar to order a drink while we waited. Then we were told they would serve us there. We ordered cheese curds with ranch and the firecracker shrimp. The curds were not hot barely lukewarm and we got a side of some other dipping sauce. We were still missing a set of silverware that we had asked for and by the time the waitress came back the curds really were cold and hard but we still asked for ranch. Ordered our meals. My hamburger was also not hot upon arrival and my daughter's steak was well done verses the medium she ordered. Her sides were like warm and neither the green beans or mashed potatoes were flavorful at all. My daughter in law had a nice chicken sandwich with good fries. Again not hot food but warmer than we had in the appetizers. I had asked for mayo and we had again asked for ranch when food was delivered but we still didn't get them. By the time the waitress came back to fill our water we were about 1/2 way done with what we would even eat. She upset the full glass of water she poured for me all over me. I was soaking from waist to toes. She apologized but still never asked how our food was and when at that time we asked for mayo and ranch she went to get them. She said to watch where we stepped when we got up and eventually put a yellow cone over the water on the floor. She did get me extra napkins to dry off a bit. I asked to speak to manager and the kitchen manager came out and apologized for the food and comped our meal taking full responsibility for it not being great. Although I did want to say a bit about the food my biggest complaint was about the service being inattentive. Our waitress was not ever moving fast enough or even remembering our requests. She anticipated nothing and could not have been very busy at all. She would come to our table and then disappear! No clue where she was. I believe we had to wave down another staff member to ask for manager. While I appreciate the gesture of comping our meal I certainly hope that she gets some kind of help or training or help to exit and be in a role more suited for her. The Key Lime pie was the VERY best thing we had for dinner. read more

Emily took great care of us in an informative and unintrusive way. We ordered the special Philly Cheeseburger (they should keep it on the menu, in our opinion) cooked perfectly to the requested medium rare and perfectly prepared Blackened Salmon salad served at the just right temperature. The salmon was appropriately flaky, the burger the perfect temperature, and the fries perfectly crispy per request. Great, fun atmosphere, nice booths, big, full bar, and great food. They were taking certain beers off the menu, so they had those beers offered as BOGO'S. They also have a Sunday brunch in addition to their regular menu. My family and I went to Ford's a couple of weeks ago for dinner and it was so good! The service, the food, the vibes was all amazing. Tonight, I called in an order for pickup because I had been craving a burger. I love their black & bleu burger on brioche instead of pretzel bun. I ordered my burger medium and it was almost raw in the middle and the bacon wasn't really cooked all the way. VERY DISAPPOINTING!! I couldn't really eat it because the meat was so red. I gave 3 star's for my previous visits, but this time is definitely 1 star. I'll probably be back to dine in, but will never order to-go. read more

I initially ordered the steak Mac and cheese and I'm sad to say it was very disappointing after several bites. This was my time at Ford's garage and didn't know what to expect. I've heard many people raving about this place and was happy to have a similar excellent experience. The service was excellent from the time someone opened the door until we left. The food was delicious, with generous portions and good presentation.
