Now that we found Autoshop Services, we will never go to anyone else. Having a German car that I know nothing about, he explained and printed out everything I needed to know about the issues that were occurring. He was more than capable of fixing it but because it was an electrical issue that had a recall, and rather than having us pay for the repair, he referred us to the dealership. Since then, we have been back for my husband's car and again, he was very thorough, explained the issue and was able to properly fix the issue.

There were no proactive updates at any point. I had to call repeatedly just to get basic information about my own vehicle. Every step dragged on far longer than it should have, and there was never a clear timeline, explanation, or sense of urgency. On top of the delays, I ended up having to coordinate communication between this shop, another shop, and my insurance company myself just to keep the repair moving. They seemed completely uninterested in managing the process or taking responsibility. I've never seen a shop put so little effort into keeping a customer informed. When the car was finally ready after almost eight weeks, I was told I needed to pay a 3% fee just to use my debit card -- as if the massive delay, lack of communication, and disrespect weren't enough of an inconvenience already. In short: Two months without my vehicle No updates unless I called Constant runaround Poor coordination with insurance and the sublet shop Unhelpful and inflexible payment process The repairs may be complete (nearly all repairs were outsourced to another shop!), but the customer experience was terrible. I would not recommend this shop to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that values your time and money, communicates clearly, and takes their work seriously.

I live in Watertown but I heard through a friend that Angelo at Tom's could be trusted to do it right. (There is an alignment specialty shop nearby in Waltham that soaked me dearly. They used to be good). So I headed up to Tom's in Dracut. Angelo took it and spent considerable time working on it to get it right. The end result: I was charged a professional rate and I got a professional job! I had just bought new tires from TF tire and now my car handles like it did when I bought it over 15 years ago. Now I could fall asleep hands off the wheel on a straight run in the Midwest and wake up still in the same traveling lane. The car glides on the highway and feels glued to the road. It has been almost 4 months since I had the alignment so this review is overdue. Thank you Tom's and Angelo for making my car handle like new. It couldn't be better. So here's the full story-- Called early morning Wednesday (7:09am), The mechanic that answered looked at the schedule and said he could take a look and to bring it in. It was towed and dropped off at 7:50am. They couldn't get to it (I'm a single mom so had to rent a car to pick up my son from school) They called me the following day Thursday at 12:40pm, telling me they didn't pull it into the garage or run a full diagnostic as I requested, but instead they tried starting it up and that the Starter Motor needs to be replaced. (We figured that much) -- Noticing I will need an oil change soon they added that in, for a total of $880.00 for the repair. I asked for the price without the oil change and she said $728. NEARLY $160 for an oil change is absurd. When I asked about the diagnostic and why I was being charged for a diagnostic when they didnt even give me any information we didnt already know, and they didnt run a full diagnostic, I was faced with an attitude and told "we could have charged you $140 for an hour of diagnostics, but we only charged you for a half-hour". I'm sorry does pushing the start button on a vehicle take 30 minutes? As someone that lives a block away and this is the most convenient place, I STILL wouldn't go back. Even the guys at O'Reilys said they were total rip offs.

I was greeted at the front by the service advisor, Joshua. He was friendly, fast and extremely knowledgeable. He helped me pick great tires for my vehicle and allowed me to wait in house for my vehicle to be serviced. The waiting room is SO clean and everyone is very friendly. I spoke with the owner, Zak, who was extremely nice and followed up to ensure my experience was going well. I had some complimentary snacks and waiting for my vehicle while watching some Netflix shows, which definitely made my wait extra enjoyable! I even got to speak with the technician who worked on my vehicle, Ian who was also very pleasant to work with! Ian worked along side Joshua to thoroughly explain everything that was done to the car! I came back about 10 days after because I unfortunately got a nail in one of my brand new tires (Massachusetts roads) Joshua booked me right in for another appointment. This time the technician, Ryan, was the one to patch my tire. He was also extremely nice and worked quickly and efficiently! I was out the door as fast as I came in! They also performed their complimentary PCA tech inspection, which is advertised as a thorough inspection. I specifically asked that all vehicle fluids be inspected before the event. During the track day, my car suffered a power steering failure that left me stranded. I had to call my regular mechanic to the track to repair the car so I could get it home, resulting in a significant repair bill and a lost track day. They offered no support or reparations. When I first contacted the shop, their response was simply, "You brought the vehicle to a track. We aren't liable." It was only after multiple phone calls that they acknowledged the power steering fluid had appeared discolored while the car was in their shop all day, but they never communicated that to me. I understand that track cars can fail. My issue isn't the failure--it's the lack of communication. I specifically asked for the fluids to be inspected, and the shop later admitted they noticed discolored power steering fluid but chose not to mention it. Had they done so, I would have serviced the system before the event. I've included photos of the power steering fluid taken after the failure and during the repair. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop if you're relying on them to prepare your car for a track event.

I was pleased to get an attentive counter person on the phone that asked all the right questions and had my order processed quickly. The used bumper for my 1996 Dodge Dakota arrived in great condition and to my delight it was removed with care which makes my job easier installing a part that wasn't torched off the donor vehicle. Kudos to a company that still operates with values I haven't seen in decades.

They fixed my car and I appreciate that and I paid quite a penny for it to be fixed when I paid less for more work. It took them a couple days to diagnosis the problem I was hoping that would bring the price down a bit but it didn't no worries I'm not mad at all. What really got to me was I asked for a tune up on my vehicle and they were going to charge me about $3000. I couldn't even fathom that price it was absolutely utterly ridiculous. For reference I went to a different shop just a mile away and they did it for $400... I think Michael takes pride in his work and does a good job but these prices are out of this world.
