Well, I waited quite a while to finally delineate my opinion regarding service at Porsche Nashua. Service, mind you, not sales - I have no experience in that regard. I left a top flight independent dedicated Porsche service shop when I moved and so a first priority was finding someone who could service my car and hopefully do it for a reasonable price. Since Porsche Nashua was reasonably convenient, I decided to give it a try since my prior experience at Porsche dealers service was that it was expensive but excellent. Sadly, that was decidedly not my experience here. The costs of the standard services was high and more troublingly, they weren't able to break the cost down. In fact I was told I'd have to wait some hours until they could determine the cost of a spark plug change. Which, if you're aware of the car biz, makes zero sense - these things are all delineated in a service manual. When I saw the cost of the oil for the oil change I questioned it because the quoted cost of the oil was MORE than their parts department had it listed for as a retail item. Then I questioned the spark plugs cost. Because I knew the cost for OEM spark plugs from a well known West Coast Porsche supply facility and Porsche Nashua was quoting two and a half times their cost. Which was absurd. When I called them on it they claimed that their parts department had been confused and they reduced the price. Still above what I could have ordered them for, again for OEM Porsche parts. Just to further my research before determining that I was being deliberately ripped off, I contacted two independent Porsche dealers - one in NH and one in Massachusetts. Both quoted very similar numbers for the work I was having done and both were several hundred under Porsche Nashua. Obviously, this didn't sit well. So much so that I wrote a physical letter to the head Service Manager and cc'd the guy who owned the facility (in addition to several more marques as well). The net result was ... nothing. Other than the Service Manager yelling at the guy doing the service writeup for my case. But even that wasn't enough for me to write a negative review. What WAS enough, finally, was today's experience. I decided to change my oil myself, seeing as how the experience with Nashua was so poor. What shocked me was that I couldn't free the drain plug at first, in spite of pulling very firmly. I finally had to use both hands, all my strength, and ultimately the plug started to unscrew. What did that mean? It meant that the Nashua "professionals", charging a labor rate of over 200 dollars an hour, had completely ignored the recommended torque requirements as written down by Porsche and had massively over-torqued it. So much so that when I finally unscrewed it, I couldn't get my 8 mm hex drive to release from the plug. I literally (and I'm being literal) had to fix half in a vice and beat on the other half until it flew off. And an inspection of the interior showed obvious deformation of the boy. Because ... it's aluminum. And that's why Porsche mandates torque requirements for all fasteners. So the result is that my drain plug is ruined and a new one will be necessary to seal and then refill the oil. And THAT was what finally pushed me over the edge. Not just the fact that they overcharged blatantly, not just that said several things that were, shall we say, no true, but that they also damaged parts of my car while happily charging me for the experience. I think this is the first 1 star review I might ever have given and I wondered for a bit whether 1 was appropriate or if 2 was more reasonable. But my final decision was that overcharging, misleading and mis-stating, with over damage merits a 1. read more

Interested in buying a car? Go elsewhere. I found what looked like a good deal on a weekend car. I'll never know if the car was any good. In my first contact with Mike, he tried to sell me an extended warranty. Second contact I finally found out that yes they offer a 30 day warranty on used cars. Third, I made an appointment for a test drive. Something came up and I had to postpone the appointment a couple of hours. At that point he told me basically not to come in because it was his day off. The only other day available was a Saturday. In the middle of the day Friday he told me someone else was test driving the car. Friday night he texts me it was sold. Maybe it's my fault for being busy. Or maybe he shouldn't schedule test drive he never intended to show up for. One can only hope customers interested in new Porsches are treated better than those interested in used cars. read more

Traveling and many miles from home, I brought my Cayenne in for an oil change and to check on a issue having to do with occasional loss of low rpm turbo boost. I am very disappointed with this dealership. Something happened in the last couple of years there. Service quality has gone downhill. Had them do alignment, told them what it needs to be (down to toe and camber), guy did not even get close to what I asked for, though I know what is achievable. But what is completely unacceptable is that they did oil change and STRIPPED the oil drain plug, so now I will have to drill it out. That is what rookie mechanics do, not Porsche mechanics!!! I hate dealerships. They rush you into a sale, they blither on about how much they care for you as a valued customer, they typically know far less about the cars than I or any somewhat researched buyer would, and they love the old hard sell. I hate all of it. Porche of Nashua was nothing like the aforementioned dealership archetype. Salesmen were calm, level headed, helpful, not overbearing, and happy to move at your own pace. Granted, I bought a Volkswagen GTI from them and not a Porche, yet they took care of everything as though I was a premium customer -- I barely lifted a finger. In terms of price Porche's are in their own league, but I bought my GTI from them for a bargain and it was very well detailed and tuned up. If you're interested, Paul Barstow is a great salesman and I'd recommend asking for him. read more

The "Service" never stops no matter where you may be......I am continuously impressed by Jim Horgos and the attention and help he has given to me over the years. First it was the many visits to Porsche of Nashua to just talk about Porsches and what I maybe looking for "Someday". Jim always seemed to make time for me in between selling cars to people who were buying right then and there. It was these conversations that lead me to seek Jim's Help in finding the perfect Used Cayenne S and then my dream car a 911 TT Cab. But the Service and help does not stop after you drive off of the lot. I was in Florida a few months ago looking for new tires for the Turbo and a Dealer to trust to be able to mount them. A call to Jim back in NH and he pointed me in the right direction or when a few weeks ago I bought a new license plate frame for my car at Porsche of Nashua and Jim insisted on installing it for me, a job I could have easily done at home but there was Jim in his nice pants and shirt practically on the ground mounting the license plate frame. Last weekend my wife and I were in Vermont enjoying the back road twisties in the Turbo when I had a problem with the seat belt I called the dealership but the Service Dept. was busy so I called Jim and he was right there to help. (ended up being owner error and dropping something into the seatbelt lock.) The Service Department is also a Gem run by Angelo who has always taken great care of me. Would not recommend, poor vehicles, poor customer service. They misrepresent the features and condition of their vehicles to force a sale and are indifferent when it is brought to their attention. I purchased a Porsche Cayenne advertised online and being from CA requested a video call to see it before purchasing, they refused to do it and assured me there were no defects with the car. This was Certified Pre Owned and they misrepresented two of the key features the dealer advertised it had, in addition, I received it with dents in the bumper, missing parts, chips and scratches in the interior panels, soil and stains in the interior, and gooey stuff on the leather (it was CPO but not detailed). Ten days after I received it, the service lights started coming on, including the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT. read more

Awful customer service. Absolutely no follow-up. Communication between staff lacking. Went on website on a Saturday to inquire about a car that I wanted to see on Tuesday. No response. Called on Monday to make an appointment. On the 3rd call back it was all set up, but I was going to be handed off to another salesperson. Took the hour trip to the dealer only to be told car was sold. Sold just after I called the night before. The salesperson it was handed off to was not aware of what car I was coming to see. Spoke with the Certified Brand Ambassador and also followed up with an email so that he would have my contact info along with a short detailed list what Porsche I was interested in so he could be on the lookout (as he said he would...and as another salesperson had said that he would a couple of months back as well, but didn't)...He did not respond to the email. It's unfortunate that the customer service is so bad, because the dealership is great looking and they cycle through more previously owned vehicles than my local dealership. Worst service ever. Everyone should be careful about their tricks and bad services. I dropped my car for repairing one of the back tire 3 days ago. And nobody will contact you about your car. Then we called back more than 20 times in second day started from morning . Finally at 5 pm, one of the employee called us back who named Jeff. He told us many things need to be done for this car, such as front tire, and back tire, and it should be ready at 7pm. We said ok and we had the insurance. And Jeff was not happy with that at all, he blamed us why we do not tell him earlier that we have the insurance. And he also said he need 3 days to order the new tire for insurance one. We are so upset about his action, he just told me the car could be done at 7 clock, then changed his words because of we have the insurance. Then we can not wait going to the store and meet the manger there, the manager said the shipment of tires will come everyday not 3 days. From the excellent sales process that took place with my first original purchase years ago..... to the current ongoing maintenance that I receive from the service department on my new Boxster S. And in many cases it was the small things that counted.....being there to answer all my questions and concerns. Squeezing me in when they could...to accommodate my busy schedule and always setting the expectations up front of what was going to take place. If they said my car was going to be done in a timely manner....I knew that it would be. A shout out goes to Ray and his sales staff for all the hard work he puts forth to the Porsche community. The Porsche rally's out of the Nashua dealership have been some of the most enjoyable events I have had the pleasure of attending. This has to be the WORST service department I have ever dealt with (and I deal with service departments every day of the week as part of my job) 2 weeks to get a service appointment, drop the car off they don't look at it, call next day, promised a call back in an hour, 4 hours later and no phone call. The repair is not rocket science, it is 90 minutes at most, and I have seen it done by competent techs in under an hour. If you need your Porsche serviced I would strongly suggest you find another service facility. If you are considering purchasing a vehicle there, don't! Buy from a dealer that values your business. Shane Weinberg is fantastic and the best Porsche salesperson I have ever encountered. In fact, he is the best of about a dozen salespeople that I have met over the past 12 years. He is patient, cool and not a pressure tactics guy. The dealership manager, Al, is also terrific. I would highly recommend to not do Herb Chambers at Burlington or Boston. Instead, drive the extra few miles and buy your Porsche from the Nashua dealership. Well worth the time, savings and peace of mind.
