I came here for my birthday and honestly could not have asked for a better birthday dinner experience. Chef Bruno and his staff are all super welcoming and it was great having him give an introduction to each course. We opted for the 11-course dinner and shared the wine pairing ($95 I believe, with 7-8 wines; sommelier was great and I thought the pairing was really good value). There wasn't a single course we didn't enjoy in terms of taste, presentation, and creativity. My favorites were the starting course (oyster with caviar), fish course (all the flavors came together incredibly well), and bread course (that black garlic and truffle butter was mouthwatering). By the final savory course, I was getting absolutely stuffed (you are NOT walking away hungry here) and could barely finish the first dessert course (luckily it was something light and refreshing). The final dessert course (assorted chocolates and sweets) I had to take to-go. They also offered a small slice of birthday cake, which was sweet of them. All in all, if you're looking for a fine dining experience in Orlando, I absolutely recommend!

On a recent trip to Orlando, Florida, we were quite surprised to find multiple fine dining restaurants. Of the few we tried we felt Foreigner was absolutely outstanding. It is a very intimate 11 course dinner and we were able to see chef Bruno Fonseca at work as him and his staff prepared our courses for the evening. We were seated right at the bar along with three other guests (as I said, it was an intimate experience!) Brett, the sommelier, was very patient as we determined our drink selection. I chose two different glasses of wine, which were both exceptional, and my boyfriend opted for the premium wine selection, which paired perfectly well with every dish. I just wanted to highlight the plating which was beautiful. Of the courses, I particularly enjoyed the venison, which is not something I've tried before, but but was glad to have tried it at Foreigner! it was succulent, flavorful, and accompanied by sautéed vegetables. Worth every bite! I also enjoyed the duck! I enjoyed listening to the story behind each dish and found the menu to be quite whimsical. For example, one of the courses was a cotton candy served on a a stick, inside which was a lovely cheese. There was also a coconut flavored dish that was quite delectable! While the price tag can raise the eyebrow, I think it is absolutely worth it for the experience, especially if you are a foodie. In general, the food scene in Orlando is actually insanely good and I cannot wait to go back and return to the Foreigner, as well as try the other fine dining restaurants in the area!!

This is 15/10 because there was not one dish that didn't taste amazing. The menu is not the same each time. Chef was amazing. It's very personal and he interacts with the guest on each dish. He describe each dish and even asked my son for his personal feedback. My son has an amazing palette. I was amazed at their conversation. I can promise you that this is a 10 to 11 course you do not want to miss. Great for date night, special occasions, Your meal is individually set at your reserved time. Please stop by. It's worth it.

We came to celebrate an Anniversary and chose seating at the chef's counter right behind the range and small ovens...where all the action was happening! It truly gives you an appreciation for all the work and detail the chefs puts into each dish. The staff was very attentive, friendly and professional. Chef Bruno was very personable and came to talk with us each time between courses. We enjoyed the interaction. The vibe and atmosphere in the restaurant was great. Each of the 11 courses were very good. Standouts were: the foie gras torchon over caramelized blueberries, the octopus (which was so tender and delectably grilled), and that glorious black truffle butter that was served with charcoal bread as part of the charcuterie. The written menu (attached) is not very descriptive, but each course has complex, multiple layers. As an example, the fish course is just listed as "Wreckfish" ... but it was actually fish with hop shoots and morel mushrooms, over creamed corn plus a sauce. We thought the price point was good, and we enjoyed our evening at Foreigner.

Wow, is a way to describe the foreigner. The chefs kitchen experience is incredible. The ingredients are as fresh as you can get, the wine selection is incredible and the detail that goes into the food is wow. The chef explains the food with attention to detail and I love how all the food comes out together as a presentation. You will not be disappointed with this intimate setting.

We came here on a Wednesday night and unfortunately they do not have the 11 course meal here on this night. The reservation process is a bit cumbersome since you have to prepay the meal through a link to get a reservation. The location is surprisingly in a strip mall. The meal is served at a countertop and is there only one large table at the establishment. The service was good and the food and presentation was very good as well. We only were able to have the 4 course meal so we had a beet salad, a guinea hen, and a steak piece. Desert we did not care for and it was ice cream with a hardened shell. Worth trying but would recommend going on nights they have the 11 course meal available.

Had the opportunity to check out Foreigner Restaurant, and it was an amazing experience! Chef Bruno was fantastic and his food is exceptional. When you walk in, you are greeted by the host, and seated at the kitchen counter for the dining experience. There is no menu card, but you do receive it at the end of the dining experience. You are immersed with anticipation with each new course that is presented to you. After the main entree is served, you are taken to the dessert table where the servers provide an array of delicious treats. Overall, the experience and food was phenomenal, and you must be open minded in regards to what is being presented in front of you as you eat it and enjoy the experience!

This restaurant had been on my to try list and my sister treated my BIL and I to celebrate life from a tough year! Everything was exceptional and the blend of flavors with each course were delicious and on point. The staff and the chef were friendly, attentive, professional and explained each course as we received it. At the end of our meal, for dessert we moved to the communal tile to enjoy our sweets and if needed some coffee. I forgot to mention that we started with the caviar add on, which was good and it was a surprise to have it served with potatoes. Personally, we like the usual way to serve caviar (bread) but it was a good thing to try. The restaurant is nicely decorated with a modern chic look and feel and seating encourages other guests to talk to each other if they would like. It was an awesome experience and we will definitely be back. Thank you!

I was super excited to finally visit, especially for brunch! Being able to try out the brunch menu made me want to come back to dinner soon. Food: My favorite from the brunch menu was the soft shell crab tostadas. It was so flavorful and the soft shell crab was so fresh and prepared to perfection. Honestly the best soft shell crab I've had. The other dishes were unique as well and very tasty. For a 4-course tasting it was pretty filling for brunch but not too full where I'm uncomfortable. Overall a great brunch menu and I'd come back for dinner! Service: Chef Bruno was very friendly and he checked in with all the guests throughout the meal to make sure we're enjoying ourselves. The staff were amazing and friendly. Ambiance: I love the space and decor. It's very modern and classy. I also love the music selection and learned the chef Bruno is really into music himself. Value: It was totally worth the price for brunch! The beverage pairing was also great for the price. Brunch for 2 people with beverage pairing for 2 came out to $240 after service charge and tax. Parking: There were a few parking spots reserved for the restaurants but the parking lot itself have enough parking spaces too, at least when we're here for brunch (around noon). So parking wasn't hard here.

Absolutely worth every penny. Perfect combination of experimental and delicious flavors. Actually cant wait to come back and see what they do next.

My husband and I came here this past Saturday with some family and had a truly wonderful experience. We did the 5:30pm dining time and ended up being the only 4 in there, so we got a special private dining session with Bruno and the staff. It was so fun to get to talk with him and hear what each dish was and what inspired them. Everything was amazing and unique! We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for amazing food and a top tier experience enjoying it.

My husband and I attended at least four chef's table experiences at The Foreigner when they were a pop-up at The Heavy. The style at their pop-up was similar to what is offered at the new restaurant; Nouveau American prix fixe chef's table with monthly changes to the menu. We were absolutely thrilled with this dinner experience. Chef Bruno crafted an elegant menu for the evening and everything was constructed so artfully by himself and his team. The reserve wine pairing was also exquisite. This is an experience absolutely worth repeating. My favorite was the second duck dish, although I loved the the fois gras in the pastry. My husband said his favorite was the oyster starter with the caviar. Salivating just thinking about it again. And what a cute touch to move everyone to the dessert table at the end for the cheese course, coffee service and dessert. The service was also top notch. Michelin-worthy!

Great! Originally planned to go elsewhere, but this place had an opening. Pretty good, indeed. They start with a matcha lime drink. The tomato sorbet salad is tasty. The sandwich is decent, but the brioche at the bottom is a bit heavy. The charcuterie is delicious, with fragrant ham. Desserts are also good, especially the sweet soup with cherry and blue cheese, although the chocolate is average. They offer wine pairing, with a different wine for each dish. Would come back for the new menu.

The steak frites are just as magnificent as my boyfriend and I remembered. Have you ever had a food memory? Years ago, my dad made the best steak I've ever had. He passed away when I was a kid, and two summers ago, when I took my first bite of the steak here, my mouth watered... but so did my eyes. It was one of the strangest, most beautiful experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. For a moment, it felt like Dad was sitting at the table with us. To taste something so familiar, something I hadn't experienced in over twenty years, was surreal. That's not a compliment I hand out lightly. So we each had that For this visit, we started with the rock shrimp tacos, and they absolutely did not disappoint. They packed a nice little kick without overwhelming the dish, and we practically inhaled them. Of course, we had to finish the meal the same way we did last time: with churros. Somehow they were even better than we remembered. Crispy, warm, perfectly sweet, exactly the kind of dessert that makes you argue over who gets the last bite. My boyfriend ordered two Old Fashioneds, and I had two Cosmos. Both were delicious and definitely generous on the pour. I was a little concerned when we arrived for our 8:00 p.m. reservation because the place was PACKED for a Thursday night. We ended up waiting a bit past our reservation time. The hostess suggested we grab a drink at the bar, but that area was just as crowded, so we hung out in the lobby instead. The wait ended up being completely worth it because we were seated at the exact table I was secretly hoping for: the most perfect little corner window booth, straight out of a movie scene. It was the ideal setting for our last night of vacation. And then there was our server, Anton. Anton could teach a master class on waiting tables. He was efficient, funny, attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pretentious, and genuinely seemed to enjoy what he was doing. In a world where great service sometimes feels like a lost art, Anton was an absolute delight. The Ravenous Pig delivered once again: phenomenal food, excellent cocktails, memorable service, and one of those meals you'll still be talking about long after you've gone home. We can't wait for our next trip to Orlando and our next visit back.

The snapper collar tacos were the star of the show. Easily enough to share between two people, with fresh fish and really good homemade corn tortillas. The fish of the day was also excellent and the fresh ciabatta with garlic butter was hard to stop eating. The cauliflower appetizer missed the mark a bit for me, the pieces were a little too big and came out slightly undercooked. The chicken salad was just alright, nothing bad but nothing memorable either. Parking can be a little tough in the area, but the complimentary valet makes it much easier. I love that they have a quicker option out back with the beer garden, you can't go wrong!

Luckily I had cash so I could pay my friend after she put it on her credit card. Service was friendly but slow. Took over 45 minutes to get our food and the place was literally empty except for a large noisy party. I got the French Dip sandwich. $24 and no meat at all on half the sandwich. Waiter notified the chef and he made me more meat which I took home since everyone else was finished. No offer of another roll. Mine was soggy. They did bring me a small salad. Another table mate got a Ceasar salad with salmon. The salmon smelled very fishy. She told the waiter that she didn't want it and he said he would take it off the bill. However it was still on the bill and she had to ask for it to be removed. A few of us ordered iced tea. It said on the menu that it was $3. The waiter mentioned that they had a special berry tea for the same price. 5 of us decided to get that. When the bills came were charged $4. We decided not to bother mentioning it. Very pretty restaurant but I don't think I will return. Very pricey mediocre hotel food is not how I want to spend my restaurant money. Long Horn has a much better inexpensive lunch.

It reminded me of a New Orleans-style paella, loaded with perfectly seasoned dirty rice, andouille sausage, shrimp, and an incredible depth of flavor in every bite. My husband began with the French Vegetable Soup, which he described as magnificent, followed by the Short Rib Sliders, which were tender, flavorful, and expertly prepared. For dessert, we indulged in the Peach Cobbler à la Mode, topped with vanilla bean ice cream. It was decadent, comforting, and the perfect ending to the meal. And made the experience a good one. I might butcher his name, but the manager, maybe named Cameron, skinny guy with glasses, walked around and checked on the tables and even suggested a new drink that was the drink of the month. By this time, my friend and I have had already two or three drinks. So I couldn't tell you specifically what the drink of the month was, but I do remember it having tequila, frozen, strawberries, and it tasting really good. 10/10 recommend. We were seated in a corner booth next to the bar. The atmosphere of this place is warm and inviting. The bar itself is also something to see. Very cool! Our server was Joey D. and he himself provided 5-star expertise, which enhanced the evening. He made great recommendations as well as giving us enough space to enjoy the meal and our conversations afterwards. Now for the food. Since there were three of us, we tried the entire Bite 30 menu and shared each plate. Course 1 consisted of Coconut Shrimp, Zucchini Fries and Ivanhoe Short Rib Tacos. Each item was amazing and was more than sufficient for the three of us. The Short Rib Tacos were stuffed with delicious tasting short rib. We were at 5-stars right off the bat. Next, came Course 2, which consisted of a Pork Chop, Casa Verde Mofongo and Chicken Fried Steak. The pork chop had a succulent brown sugar glaze and came with sautéed green beans and Yukon Gold mashed potatoes. The pork chop was juicy and delicious. The Casa Verde Mofongo is a Puerto Rican dish (which I just learned about this evening), consisting of sautéed bell peppers, red onions, sweet corn, and mashed plantains in a spicy remoulade. One of my friends is Puerto Rican and gave this dish high marks as did I. Finally, the chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked and came with Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, broccoli and sawmill gravy. We enjoyed these three dishes immensely. Course 3 consisted of the following desserts: Key Lime pie, Midnight Chocolate Ganache and Banana Bread Pudding. The Key lime pie was excellent as was the banana bread pudding. We thought the midnight chocolate ganache was a little too sweet for us, as it was truly a decadent dessert. However, you will not get any complaints from us about this restaurant. What we also liked was that the portions were the normal dinner size not a reduced size for the Bite 30 event. As stated previously, we all had plenty of good food to enjoy. The overall meal and experience was truly five stars and this restaurant is highly recommended by all three of us. We all can't wait to go back again and try more selections from the entire menu.
