In Oct. 2023, Forever Builders made repairs to my existing roof. In January 2024, during the extreme rain fall, my roof developed a leak. I called FB immediately after noticing the leak that was coming from the roof into my garage. Forever Builders responded immediately the next morning and found the leak. The recently installed roof vent was the culprit. The vent was installed correctly but had a manufacture defect. Although FB had previously gave me a discount, they still responded quickly before any damage could occur. Feb. we had some serious down pours and continued for the week. My roof didn't leak one bit. I cannot say enough amazing things about Alex Scott who was the project manager on my brand new roof installation!!! I just bought an older home that I was in way over my head to begin with and was hoping I could get at least a year out of the current roof--well life happens and I needed an entirely NEW roof ASAP. I cannot even begin to state how shady and horrible to deal with this company is. They sent out a "project manager" which is code for a salesperson to give us a quote. The quote they gave us seemed reasonable. We went back and forth on a few items. We were about to sign when they literally raised their quote by almost 15% for no stated reason. At this point we had spent hours meeting with their "project manager" going over details and discussing options. It turned out to be a huge waste of time for us and them. Bathroom remodel. I selected Forever Builders (FB) to remodel my main bathroom in my home in Clairemont. The project manager met with me and reviewed my plans and provided me with several suggestions that just made sense. Glad to have that direction! The team at FB was supportive as the project hit one unplanned issue after another . . . asbestos abatement and then bad plumbing. I really appreciated their help in solving these unforeseen issues promptly and professionally. The project stayed on track! Their crew maintained safe distancing and wore masks throughout the remodel. Extra props for their tile guys. I went with expensive marble on the walls. Alex Scott was a super project manager. We were having a condo renovated before we moved in, but were living in the Bay Area. We were doing an older kitchen remodel, new vinyl flooring, some drywall work and a fresh coat of paint. We interviewed 3 contractors and we knew the moment we met Alex that he was going to be our guy. He told us up front he was not going to be the cheapest guy and hit us up with a bunch of price changes on the base scope he bid on and was reasonable with what to expect as add-ons for unknown items. True to his word, we budgeted for unknowns and he nailed the base scope. We had add-ons along the way that he added on reasonably. He also talked us out of stuff that he said would not be worth the money. Alex took us "shopping" to pick out the items we wanted and guided us through the buying process and worked pricing. I went against his advice in a couple areas and regretted it as those vendors were late and a pain to work with. Alex kept working with them with a smile on his face. He also negotiated with my vendors to help keep me in budget Being 500 miles away, we needed someone who could keep us in the loop on issues, walk through solutions, detailed oriented, but most importantly trustworthy. Being a stickler for detail, Alex left no stone unturned and involved me along the way with daily project updates and photos for discussions on what he was planning. Project turned out beautiful and way better than we expected. Can't believe this is the same place. Especially being far away and not on the premises everyday, I was worried that there would be some items missed. Alex's eagle eye and attention to detail did not let me down.
