Forever builders undertook remodel of my master bathroom and guest bathroom. They offered a competitive price compared to a couple of other quotes(licensed+bonded companies) I had at the time. My Project Manager Nathan was excellent and very professional. Being a large remodel there were issues that came along the way (delays, neighbor complaints) but Nathan was reasonable and worked with me to make sure things went smooth or were taken care of. I had a request for a custom countertop and Nathan was able to help get a contractor who achieved it at a reasonable price. He also recommended a good glass company for the Glass door needs of the bathrooms. The end result is great and both bathrooms looks very nice. read more

Working with Mati was a pleasure. He was always responsive to all my communication (email, text, phone calls). Very knowledgable on the process for my kitchen remodel and always kept me informed with the status. There were delays that were outside of his control related to inconsistent Inspectors, but he really helped work with experienced contractors to prove quality of work. I believe the breakdown for scope of work and payment schedule with FB was helpful to me and they were willing to go into further detail until I was comfortable with moving forward. I needed a new flat roof. Great estimate from Forever Builders. Other estimates calculated in a "Point Loma" factor, that I believe unfairly inflates the estimate. Alex was the supervisor. He's very responsible, intelligent, articulate, honest about the project, scope of work, time frame, taking care of unexpected unavoidable events, warranty and clean up. I watched every step of the project and I was very satisfied with the work. I don't have a problem with ladders and heights and Alex sent me video updates, which were very helpful . My wife and I closed on a new place in March 2021 and decided to do a major overhaul of the walls, cabinets, and floors of the entire house. We found Forever Builders via Yelp and decided to reach out to see if our vision for the house was doable and within our budget. We arranged a visit to quote us on the work and Alex Scott was the Project Manager assigned to us. He was very open, easy to talk to, and clear about the possibilities and timelines of our renovations. We made several follow-up appointments to look at different paint and flooring options, and eventually settled on materials that he was able to get us at a very good cost. Over the course of the next few months, the work was done at a rapid pace. With the pandemic going on in the world, there have been many materials delays for items, and our house was no exception. Alex was great at keeping us updated and reassuring us on any updated timelines. Despite having no control over these issues, he did his best to keep us happy with frequent updates. So after 15 years of living in our dream home, we welcomed a new baby and are now a family of 4... So things became a little packed, but we didn't want to move because we love our home. I was told their bath remodeling projects start at $15k. Okay. I wanted to know what can be done for that much in my very small bathroom that doesn't even have a vanity. The answer was they won't be able to remodel my teeny bath for less than $18k AND 5 weeks. I've found contractors who quoted me less than $8k and 4-6 business days for the same job. Weird money and time demands from this one. Edit in response to business owner's comment: Yes, this review is real and I have a quote from your guy. I had your reps tell me about how great of a job you do for about an hour and a half and how my project estimated by several other contractors to take 1-2 weeks and $4-8k would be hard to pack into $20k and 5 weeks. Pretty ridiculous and a total waste of my time hence a 2 star (less than okay) review. I've been shopping around and getting a lot of quotes. Most of them are reasonable even though the range is pretty wide, but these 2 stood out as a waste of my time so I feel other people who come to you because of exclusively 5 star reviews should be aware they might not get a 5 star experience. read more

Shai and Forever Builders did an excellent job remodeling our kitchen after it suffered water damage due to flooding from outside our condo unit that seeped in through. They also replaced all our flooring with Luxury Vinyl Plank. The whole project took a little over 5 weeks, which was a little bit longer than we expected but we were very happy with the quality of the work. We went for a midcentury modern look with turquoise rhombus backsplash tile, darker cabinetry with brushed stainless hardware and floating shelves with stain that matched the teak flooring - the inclusion of the shelves and removal of an existing pony wall really helped open the space up and the pure white quartz countertop looks really clean and slick, like you might see in a restored 1950's style diner! Forever Builders was responsive to all of our requests for touch-ups and slight modifications throughout the process, including an expansion of the backsplash area from what was quoted on the original estimate. One of the great things was we knew exactly what to expect - the estimate at the start equaled the final price upon completion. We decided to go with Forever Builders after receiving a couple of bids for our master bathroom. Our project manager, Shai Gino, was very professional and personable from the very beginning. I would say what got us to book them initially was Shai's approach to the project. He was very candid about what we would expect with our project if we decide to move forward with Forever Builders. He made us feel very comfortable about tackling on such a big project, and was straight forward with what we should/could expect (our renovation included removing old flooring, adding extra closet space, removing old bathtub, reconfiguring old shower stall, removing part of a lowered ceiling, pretty much gutting the existing master bath!). In addition, Shai was very transparent with the project cost - detailing every cost/ breakdown so that there were no surprises. When they did start the project, Shai made sure that we knew what to expect every day from the workers. All of them were very respectful of our home, and was in constant communication on the progress. While there were minor hiccups along the way (as expected with a major renovation), Shai always made sure that they were resolved, and done to what we requested. Mixed Review We really wanted to like these guys. We spent a long time looking for a Contractor for our new Kitchen. The Forever Builders Quote was on the high side, but they are a Family Company and we wanted to support their growth. Mati came out to meet with us and promised to "Handle it all." However, as our Project wore on, things just went from bad to worse. Our home was built in 2006. There were no plumbing issues, no electrical issues and we did not change the floor plan. The plumbing was not moved. The walls were true. Each time a new set of workers were brought in, they did not cover our floors, our patio, or our garage. Everything was covered in dirt, debris and paint. They stood all over our BBQ island leaving scratches. Out stairs were trashed, and we had to spend many weekends trying to clean them up. There were errors in the painting (not sanded, drips), a new painter had to be brought in. There were errors with the Electrical (three times he had to come back), errors every step of the way. Tiles were scratched. Everything created more work and time added on. The worst part was that we were the ones to find and ask that the errors be corrected. I believe if we had not caught them, the errors would have been left. Very little oversite was given to our project. From the beginning something seemed off. Mati and his Design Team EZ Designs measured our kitchen and nook area several times. They kept coming over stating they need to take more measurements and they used several tools to measure. We thought maybe this meant they were taking pride in their work. Unfortunately, as the job went on, we discovered that the cabinets upstairs were not measured correctly. We had to order new cabinets that were the correct size. Mati asked if we wanted to buy the old cabinets and we let him know we did not need them.This delayed our end date by about 5 weeks. In addition, the kitchen fridge and oven were not measured (Both on site for the entire job) and it ended up not fitting. Mati refused to negotiate a plan with us and said "this is your fault." We ended up talking with the owner Dor who stated they would fix the issue. The biggest disaster was our Countertops. We picked the Countertops with the Design team that is attached to Forever Builders. We were informed that we would be getting the exact slab of quarts that we had picked. They required fabrication that was a change order. The day that they went into the home, we came downstairs to find out they were the wrong ones. The Design Team was able to give us our money for the slabs (not the fabrication) back. However, we have these in our home until at some point when we can rip them out. Mati started out very communicative, however as the mistakes began to add up he became defensive, did not show up at the job site, stopped communicating with us and eventually he was fired from the job. We were left trying to work with the CEO of their company. Dor was amazing and I only wish we would have had this experience from the beginning. Forever Builders ended up finishing the job without any further change orders. They also followed up with a nice gift card . It is unfortunate for us we did not work with Dor from the beginning read more
