The reviews for this place are excellent and so I decided to take my Tacoma to them to get some…read morework done. The truck is fairly old so, among several other things, they quoted new shocks and strut assemblies. After getting the truck back and driving a few days back and forth to work I noticed that it always had a pronounced lean where the passenger side of the vehicle was riding several inches higher than the driver's side. After calling to confirm, Phil stated that they had done an alignment and had even verified the ride height/level. The truck was definitely leaning though so something was not right, I took it to the Toyota dealership and they showed me the issue. Fort Worth Auto Garage had installed the wrong shock and strut assemblies on one side of the vehicle. I don't believe Fort Worth Auto Garage actually did an alignment or a ride height check, because it surely would have been noticed that the incorrect parts had been installed on one side of the truck. That being said, once I confronted Phil with this information he did agree to install the correct parts so eventually it was fixed. Fort Worth Auto Garage do have reasonable prices, however they seem to be a bit sloppy with their work and they do not seem to pay close attention to details, such as part numbers.

I'm very happy to report that Greased Lightening can do that emissions inspection, and fix you up with an oil change as well, as we did with our sweet little Mustang automobile recently. The guys are always pleasant and helpful. They have a waiting room with a television set that plays shows that remind me of home. They have a pop machine if you're thirsty, and the prices for those sodas are quite reasonable. Also, I always appreciate the mechanic shops whose waiting rooms have a coffee table full of a variety of magazines, as they do at Greased Lightening. We appreciate these guys a great deal. I took the truck to Duane's in Euless. I am a long time customer there. They diagnosed the problem. The canister style oil filter housing was installed without the "O ring" I was shown a picture of the housing. O ring installed and leak fixed. You get what you pay for. So my cheap oil change cost me $200. Uber $40 84$ shop time at Duanne, 6.99 new filter and o ring. Plus the $60 original cost. Plus, a day off chasing this down and a puddle of oil on my driveway. Could have been A GM 3.6 VVT v6 though.

And this guys on 4600 grandbury rd charge me a little bit more than the others, but they did the job the right way.good people and Serious people, they dont been scamming people like others. Also got a "discount" off a large bill because they kept my car for a week instead of a couple of days so they "paid the other part out of their pocket"... or the original amount was overcharged? Well... I had an interesting thing that happened here at the spot…read more First it's just a small shop across from Maxine's just south of the traffic circle. Let's just say there were some things that happened to my car that were not happening before I pulled into the car lot. They obviously did something to cause something wrong but immediately when I told the guy it wasn't doing that before I got here.. he said OK will look at it and will fix the problem. He said if we did something they would get fixed. Everything worked out so I am a happy customer. I did have to come back a couple days later to actually get my inspection done on my car. I had two tires put on that I brought to them and air pressure was wrong so again I had to come back for that as well... But for some reason I will still say I like this place they may need to get some guys with a little more experience in the shop but they are quick to fix a mistake and very kind about it. Not to mention the guy in the front (I should have gotten his name) was very nice and friendly and had all the laughs. I will go back to this place to have my other tire put on as well... Maybe even the inspection.
