Stopped in with my mom while she was visiting from out of town & had a blast. The door guy was friendly & let us know there was a cover, but that it was worth the show, we agree. Very talented musicians & singers. Love the inclusion of the drum in some of the songs & the range of music requested by the audience & covered was an eclectic mix of genres and songs from the 70s all the way up to current songs. The woman did a kick-arse version of Bobby McGee (among others), and the one guy managed to remind me a bit of Will Farrell as he'd ad libbed some mash ups into the songs, and the younger guy had me laughing till my sides hurt with his surly antics with the audience. Great crowd, servers were also friendly. I'm looking forward to future visits. read more

Did NY2025 and enjoyed ourselves but the buffet should've been identified as light and was also served late. It was really the only disappointment. Service was exemplary. Not my favorite. The white male pianist sang (yelled) WAP right when we arrived. We had to pay a $10 cover each without a guaranteed spot inside. The drinks are not good and were overpriced. A lemon drop martini is NOT hard to make. I don't think I've been to a worse piano bar, honestly. I think most of the audience was compiled of bachelorettes and birthday girls who wanted an excuse to be the main character and jump onstage for a photo. read more

Unfortunately my experience is that we will always be charged for "rocks" ie., ice. Loved, loved our visit to Fortissimo. Jonas and Taylor (from SC) were awesome. There were very few people there as Fortissimo just started serving brunch. Popped in unexpectedly for their Christmas in July night. Serenaded with holiday tunes from one of two pianos. Delightful. We came here for my birthday and I have to say it was such a fun night!! They did a great job with the song requests and I thought the range was perfect for all ages in the bar. The piano players engaged with the audience and made sure to check in on each table to see that they had a good time. Our waitress ensured we were set with drinks and popcorn. This isn't quite dueling pianos. It was a few artist playing songs requested with a tip but skipped most songs we requested so our tip went without recognition. It wasn't a performance atmosphere as the lights were bright throughout the crowd and rest of the bar were non stop talking creating a constant distraction. I would say it wasn't the worst experience but I wouldn't recommend it as a true dueling pianos bar. read more

I usually love dueling piano bars. I've been to one in Austin, Nashville, and New York. Sadly, this one is struggling to capture the vibe that makes a dueling piano bar great. The performers are frankly not good enough, the drinks and food are waaaay overpriced, parking in this area is extremely tough, and the vibe was overall sort of sad. I hope they find their groove (literally) in the next couple months, because I'm not sure the juice is worth the squeeze! read more

Had a great time singing along to the song requests I knew. Lively atmosphere and good service. One of the other customers had high energy and sang along to every song. Another customer, who was a professional drummer, joined the pianists on a couple of songs and seemed to enjoy it. Most of the songs played/requested were 1970's - 2010's. The pianists seemed to play songs that most people knew. The food was fresh, not typical bar fare. Cocktails were good. We enjoyed our evening. read more

I took my husband here for his birthday. We had a great time until a song came up that was announced as "6 dollars will make this stop". He walked up to the piano and put down a $10 bill to stop the song and the crowd booed. The GM then came up to us and told us she would ask us to leave "kick us out" if we approached the stage again. Despite the fact that the format was to approach the piano with cash/requests. We had spent a lot of money this night and asked the GM to discuss. She was dismissive and rude, but offered a free shot. On our way out my husband mentioned that we were disappointed with the service and communication and the staff yelled at us and forced us to leave because I touched her arm. She put her finger in my face yelling at me. We just wanted to express our disappointment with the outcome, it very much ruined our night. The GM was rude, dismissive, and not open to discussion. We left as the staff berated us for touching her arm, again in an attempt to appeal to her human nature. The rest of our night has been ruined. read more
