Even though this is listed as "Fortune Cookie" in Yelp, the sign says "Fortune Cookies" with an S. It's okay fast Chinese food. Nothing that will blow you away but nothing offensive. I probably would have gone with 4 stars but the dumplings don't come with dumpling sauce. The fried rice was a little dry but they honored my request for hot oil. Pro tip - they don't take American Express.

Not to many good Chinese restaraunts in tbe area decided to give this a try.Just ordered the sweet n sour pork combination food is hot and fresh and tastey..wish I had some soy sauce or duck sauce to give it a little extra taste but I got none in the bag.if your looking for great customer service don't expect it the woman forget what I ordered and I was the only person there.

Haven't eaten the food yet. Waiting for my order now. Looks like every other Chinese takeout joint in the area. If the food proves delicious I'll bump up my review. How about that?

Good food - great service. I only wish they had a bigger sitting area so that you could eat your food inside.

I would like to return to try other dishes. I ordered Jasmine Green Tea, a cup of Hot and Sour Soup, and Singapore Noodles. A pot of tea arrived quickly which pleased me. I often judge a Chinese restaurant by the quality and taste of its Hot and Sour Soup. This soup was excellent in comparison. The broth was a good balance of flavors. It was just spicy enough. It had fresh mushrooms and tofu. Five Stars for the soup. When I saw the check later, I realized it was included free with my lunch. The Singapore Noodles was a large portion, but disappointing in that I could barely detect the yellow curry. The rice noodles needed more sauce or spice! The chicken strips were tender. There were onion pieces as well as scallions in it. Three Stars. But I will return. There are many booths in the restaurant as well as a long row of connected tables in the center for large groups. The restaurant was clean. One booth had four men who spoke only Chinese to the server. That is a sign that the food is good here. Server was efficient and helpful. Parking is right outside of restaurant in a strip of businesses that incudes Saigon Spring, a favorite.

The server brought over a large dry-erase board listing their specials, which aren't on the regular menu--a nice touch. The decor gave classic Chinese diner vibes--not fancy, but comfortable. I ordered quite a bit, planning to have leftovers: a pot of jasmine tea, scallion pancake, soup dumplings, cucumber salad, and sautéed green beans. The jasmine tea was fragrant and exactly what I was hoping for. The dishes came out staggered, which I appreciated. The cucumber salad was a great start--refreshing and well-seasoned. The scallion pancake, though, was a bit of a miss for me. It was very thin and came out so crispy it was tough to eat. The green beans were crisp and full of flavor, and the soup dumplings were a delicious, satisfying protein option. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try more dishes!

If I could give a ZERO rating I would I had to dig on this site to find all the negative reviews…read moremany not current but there are a slew of them nonetheless. Was in that shopping plaza Sunday 07/26/2026 around 3pm decided I'd try this Chinese Place. I ordered in person 3 pork egg rolls and a small pork lo mien. Woman assured me at the check out everything cooked to order and all fresh ingredients she had on glasses in a pink smock. I waited 15 minutes which was fine, got in my car and took a small bite of the egg roll and thought it tasted salty but thought okay, could be a fluke and I'll wait till I get home to eat. The lo mien was so so salty (MSG overload??) my lips were burning so was the inside of my mouth. I tried the egg roll one more time even put duck sauce on it and I had to spit it out the salt content killed the taste of what an egg roll should taste like, I ended up throwing out the rest of that egg roll then I wrapped up everything else, I was so annoyed, found the receipt and decided gas or no gas I was driving back there to get a refund of $16 plus tax. The same woman at register was going on and on "We've been in the business 40+ years and this is the first time we had to refund an order or get a complaint"!!! The more she spoke like a lecture the more I was determined to get my credit card refunded. She wanted to deduct the full amount of one egg roll because I took 2 bites off the egg roll and had trashed the rest of it. Got the full refund, no apology or we can remake this order for you, nothing. I left knowing I'd find negative reviews once home and more calm about this establishment. And there they were buried... majority of customers opted to throw out their order rather than take a longer drive then I did and took the loss. Not me... never ever again will I go there or any other garbage Chinese place in Clifton Park. I was tempted to just throw out all the food but was upset enough to bring it back. $16+ to me is a lot of money for salt. I could not stop drinking water for over an hour I was so thirsty. So here's a current negative review to add to the growing list in the yellow zone.

We placed our order and the owner who has his face plastered everywhere had an arrogant attitude. He acted like we were wasting his time. We ordered 3 general tso combos with pork fired rice, two mango pineapple smoothies, and three mochi donuts. We asked for white meat which he said with a huff and puff that everything is white meat. This wasn't the case, the chicken was tough to eat and had a lot of dough compared to chicken. It had globs of sauce on it which did taste kind of good. We asked for pork fried rice which to our knowledge included in the 11.11 price. No no no it was 2 extra per plate. So now we're looking at 13.11 per combo. My fault for not reading the menu fine print that you can see was tapped to the window in my included photo, top left of the photo. Not only that, what I got was chicken fried rice which if I had to pick was the only good tasting item I had. The smoothies had a chemical taste to them, it didn't taste like a real smoothie. We asked for boba and he immediately said that is extra. They had 3 donuts o a rack that looked like a display case, so we ordered 3 to try out. First time eating mochi donuts. He took them out the case threw them in a box and put all our food on a table while we were standing in front of him. The rose donut tastes like eating a real rose. Not sure how you guys feel about that. The churro donut had little flavor. The cookies and cream donut was good. Total damage was 64 dollars. I would have been better off going to a buffet. At least if the service was better maybe I would have gave it 2 stars. We won't be coming back here.

I wandered in this East Wok after a review I already wrote that there's not a good Chinese restaurant in Clifton Park. I ordered simply 2 pork egg rolls, my usual I love them if cooked right, a pint of roast pork lo mien. I asked if they use MSG right off the rip considering the order from another Chinese in Clifton Park where my lips and mouth burned from the salt overload. The gentleman who took my order said "No we don't use MSG unless asked to" I was so pleased. 10 minute wait so reasonable I could see and hear my lo Mien sizzling fresh in a pan and upon getting my order before I left I took a small bite of the egg roll it was perfect!!! Once home portioned out the Lo Mien which was piping hot still and NO added salt or MSG was tasted. The Lo Mien could of included snap peas and another crunchy veggie but I was thrilled it was loaded with slivers of Pork and carrots which I love. $9.90 was the total compared to the higher price I paid just near the turn around by Dollar Tree which I returned for a full refund. There were NO plants or gadgets or nick knacks for sale and the floors spotless including the tables 4 stars from me and I'm very picky. You could taste the food without the added sodium chemicals. It was a take out I wasn't there to chat up the help. Very pleased but more crunchy veggies needed in their egg rolls would be nice.

We were a group of nine that included a few children. We went all out. The clear soup was good and flavorful. The salad was fresh and we loved the dressing. It wasn't the typical orange ginger but a light dressing. Delicious! I got the shrimp and scallop combo hibachi and I love that it comes with both rice and noodles. Lots of fresh vegetables. The scallops and shrimp were meaty and perfectly grilled. Others got steak cooked to their liking and some got salmon. Apps were edamame and a dragon roll and spicy tuna. I didn't try the apps but it was a fancy presentation. Everything was just so good. The service was impeccable. The chef was super engaging with everyone, including the littles. Hibachi is always fun and they are pros on fun. They handled our group with humor and the theatrics you've become accustomed to at hibachi dinner were on point. We went there on a Sunday, late afternoon, and it was amazing. I also got a fried ice cream for my birthday with fireworks! Thank you! The restaurant is big and can accommodate large parties. I want to go back soon! I do want to mention that the person that was paying for this birthday dinner didn't realize that gratuity was already added. They came back to give her the extra cash back that she had put in her payment. She was so grateful she still added a little extra!
