It was Noodle Man + Chubby Boy before. Entrance is through the plaza big doors vs original right side door. Their phone number is still the same as Google Maps Chubby Boy. Two dining area which makes sense cause it was two companies...Noodle Man, and Chubby Boy. With Noodle Man bring parent company. Take out. The food has changed? The $19.88 3-meat bbq combo over rice wasn't as soft and good as before. The $18.88 eggplant was horrible. It was overly mushy, and saucy. Total without tip yet is $42.01. Feeds like 2-3 people. Came here for my FILs birthday and didn't have a great experience. Food was decent but the owner was very pushy and tried to upsell us black pepper wagyu instead of just steak cubes. Fortune! What happened? We loved you when you first opened and a few times after but came back a few times now, and the food quality and quantity went straight to Bad, if not terrible. Extremely hesitant to write this review. The price for our popcorn chicken went up and the quality and the quantity went down. The Salt and Pepper Pork chops was all bones and salty breading. Where was the meat? The house fried rice was basic at best. Just rice and food color. So SAD! Stop being greedy and give your customers the quality you delivered when you first opened. Fortune a new Chinese restaurant has opened in this small Plaza area. We came here for a nice dinner in Vegas and were craving some Chinese food. We ordered beef noodle soup, duck, chicken, sliced BBQ pork, and a plate of vegetables. The duck was super tasty and not dry with a nice light crisp skin. Also, the chicken was good as well. All of our dishes tasted pretty nice I would say. Except for the beef noodle soup, the beef was a tad bit on the harder side and way too chewy. The service was amazing and our hot tea that came in a kettle also had a side of rock sugar which made it even taste way better. If you want to come here and enjoy a nice family dinner this is a pretty good spot with tables that can fit small or large groups of people. Since this place is still new there weren't as many people for dinner but the food is great! The only thing I would say is that it was slightly more expensive for each dish. read more

I saw this place featured on a popular foodie YouTube channel. Described as a "Hidden Gem" my wife and I decided to try a different Dim Sum restaurant instead of ones that we frequent. We arrived for a weekday lunch and were seated immediately. We ordered basic Dim Sum dishes like Siu Mai, Har Gow, wrapped sticky rice etc. All of our dishes trickled out as they were each prepared. As we tasted each dish they were just your run of the mill Dim Sum. We didn't feel it was anything special. We've definitely had better. I will say the restaurant is spacious and clean. Service was adequate but it surprised us when it took the wait staff awhile before they even asked us for the type of tea we wanted. It seems that the popular dish was the lobster noodles which we didn't try. All in all it was an underwhelming experience for us. Found this place all on accident and so glad we did! So I ended up here, because I initially tried to get a table at New Asian BBQ dim sum the next plaza over. With it being New Year's Eve, the wait for 2, was 1-1.5 hours. Fortunately, on my way to my car I saw a sign that said "Fortune Dim Sum Now Open." I stumbled into the mall and saw Fortune. I was immediately greeted and sat although the rest of my party was not there. It's a lot bigger than what it looks like inside and there was a ton of tables. Anyways they give you a pen and paper with pictures of all the dim sum offerings that you mark on your own. They also gave another menu with additional things. After we ordered, the food came out pretty quickly. Dim sum was pretty solid. There was a couple things that were ok, but I would skip for next time such as the shrimp shumai and charsui noodle dim sum. Other than that, everything was solid and in my opinion just as good as New Asian BBQ, so I'm definitely glad I stumbled upon this place. read more

Food was ok but some of the staff were rude and slow. We went for a friend's birthday. Not quite as busy as most other places in the area. They changed ownership and expanded the dining area since the last time I was here for another birthday. As a big group, I do love that they sit us in the private room without asking. Another great thing about this venue for big group dinners is you don't have to hassle with parking, there's plenty in this plaze compared to others. They also let us bring in a cake and stored it for us. The food is delicious. However, I will say they will try their best to upsell you. So don't get give in if you can help it.... Have a plan before they come take your order and don't be easily swayed by their recommendations/upsell. They did check up on us often to make sure our drinks were refilled and take away any finished dishes. Again the food is pretty good as long as you don't get pressured into ordering extra. I swear, I'm going to stop relying on Youtube videos for food recommendations. We came here in mid-November to try the $19.99 lobster noodle special. But when we arrived and I asked about it, I was told that it was now $26.99. Eh, since we were there already, we decided to try it. What's another seven bucks, right? While I perused the rest of the menu to see what else to order, the server began rattling off a number of things for me to try. I think it was because I initially spoke to her in Canto. I finally settled on black pepper beef and half a pound of pork belly. She suggested I order a pound. A pound? It was just me and my husband. She asked if we wanted anything else. How about a steamed whole fish? Stir fried clams? Veggies? Really? I had already ordered three dishes. Her pushiness was off-putting. The lobster noodle dish was middling. I've had this many times in San Gabriel Valley restaurants, as well as in Hong Kong, and this one wasn't a very good rendition. The sauce in this dish had too much cornstarch and was a bit goopy. There was no wok-hei on the lobster. The noodles were limp. The pork belly was crisp but didn't have the proper crackling puff. The black pepper beef was passable. But both dishes are overpriced. Overall, Fortune is meh. I guess if you haven't had good Canto food, it'll do, but the Canto food scene in Vegas is subpar. It pales in comparison to SGV. And the frustrating thing is that it is more expensive! read more

Update 12/27/24: foods still delicious however we got judge from the middle age Asian server. The reason was we only ordered half roasted duck with 2 bowl of rices. She chuckled in disbelief and kept asking and pushing to order more. I asked if there is a problem with just ordering half duck to share, if there is i can go back out. Please retrain your staff because you already got great foods. If there is a policy for each person to order a dish please let us know. She literally downed on us and never came by to our tables after that beside gave us a check.
