Brought my picky eater family here, American husband and two kids. Ordered for the fam: Golden Shrimp Fried Rice, Salt Pepper Pork Chops, House special Pan Fried Noodles w/Chicken.. Then ordered for me: Braised Pork Belly with Preserved Veggies, sui mai, bean curd wrap, friend shrimp balls, and char sui bao. Everything was deelish! Hubby approved pork chops, that's all that matters. A bit pricey, but large portions. I pretty much took home a lot of leftovers. Service was very attentive! I had ordered no veggies in the fried rice and the owner, I think, saw there were onions in it. She made sure everything was ok with egg custards, which was sooo good! The ambiance of the restaurant is nice with limited tables, but not crowded when we came in a Sunday at 10:30am before we left town. Also as when u walk into the "food mall" you walk into Fortune, then there's 3 restaurants that kind share the space and menu. Food was coming from everywhere. You can get your Chinese BBQ meats from Chubby Boy BBQ, and then your noodles from The Noodle Man. It was all tasty! My favorite was the braised pork belly...yummy! See pic! Well, our intent was to go to Noodle Man because that's what we do when we are in town. Unfortunately, they had changed and now it's Fortune. They said they will still honor their menu (if you remember what was on their menu). So many staff, but they gotta be trained. Hopefully, the manager will figure that piece out. There were only two table dining (dinner time). We ended up getting the food we normally get; Chinese deli. It was very mediocre at best. We didn't try their dim sum, but I saw their menu out in the front. I don't know if I will try though. The decor was nice on the new side. They also put "Fortune" out in the front of the building to make it easier for future customers to see. Plenty of parking. read more

I was looking for a good dim sum spot to visit while I was in Vegas and this seemed like a good spot according to reviews. We came in around 11am Friday morning and were seated quickly. They were a little short staffed for the amount of customers. I had to flag down one of the workers to take my order since they didn't follow up. I ordered some hacow, shumai, chowmein, chicken feet, shrimp rolls. Everything was pretty good for the price. For some reason, they missed one of our orders so I had to let them know to cancel it and revise the receipt. The food at this restaurant is pretty good, but there's just something strange, you be the judge. There's multiple signs on the outside with different names The Noodle Man and Fortune but actually there's only one restaurant so I'm not sure what that's all about. The other strange thing this is the third time we've tried the restaurant and they have signs in the front promoting lobster noodles and they never seem to have them. This is the THIRD time we've tried. The first sign says 6.99 lobster noodles apparently that's for anyone who spends over $100 and for anyone else it's $22.00 for the lobster noodle special. The only problem they never have it we've tried 3 different times. This was our last we won't be going back seems they'll do anything to get you in. read more

We tried the dim sum menu and their special lobster noodles. Dim Sum was good, tasted fresh and came out pretty fast. They do charge for tea, $1 per person. My complaint though, is that the lobster claw was still raw, we told the waitress, and she said she will tell the chef. Few minutes later, another older lady came over and asking how is everything? We thought she may be the manager, so we told her the same thing about the lobster, and she literally turned around to the other table to ask then how's everything??? We were all looking at each other thinking did she just straight out ignore us? I guess that's their customer service for you.... read more

Dim sum taste so good here but you are paying higher price here. Almost $10 for fried wontons is just absurd. They are made fresh to order so prepare to wait for a bit. Service is fast and friendly. To my dismay, the Chinese restaurants I was looking at catered to fusion tastes, served small portions, only Chinese takeout, etc. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this place where it was resonant of the restaurants I went to as a kid like KJ Kitchen (which unfortunately closed down). The food was delicious. The service was excellent, they attended to you quickly. We got our food so quickly too. I like how everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It feels like inexperience Chinese takeout quality food at fine dining prices. We ordered an appetizer but the server demanded we order our entire meal and she would bring the appetizer first. The duck arrived at the table first, the skin was not very crispy and the meat tased a little old to me. The bone marrow and rice dish came next, total fail and nobody at the table ate it. Finally the appetizer arrived!! BBQ pork... fatty but had good flavor (best dish of the night) and their lobster and noodles that tased like mayonnaise on over cooked noodles. The flavor of the lobster was bad enough I couldn't stomach it. We also had a spicy brisket and fresh noodle soup... not great, not bad but definitely not fresh noodles. The food here is mediocre at best. The seasoning is completely random. The soy sauce chicken has way too much dark soy thus making it pungent instead of flavorful. Most of the dim sum items were flat out not good. The dumpling skin is super thick and chewy. With posters of "noodle man" hanging all over the restaurant, we had to order the noodle soup, which was extremely disappointing. The flavor was nonexistent, and the texture was gross.
