The food was very flavorful and delicious. I like the free complimentary Tapioca & Taro Dessert. The service was great and the food came out fast.

Peking duck, chicken clay pot, and beef wide rice noodles

Cantonese restaurant in the middle of Kent in a strip mall. Mid size interior, has that traditional and dated Cantonese restaurant look/decor. Went there for lunch on a holiday and they had a few tables with customers. Tried a few thing on the menu. Got half of the crispy (Peking style) duck. Theirs the more Americanized version (as mentioned by the server) that comes with the buns instead of the thin wraps. The duck was chopped so there is a thin layer of meat with the skin, and also has the wing drumstick and leg drumstick. It tasted fine. Also go the smooth chicken and mushroom clay pot. Their version has some extra veggies which I appreciated, but they also fried the chicken pieces so it had a crispy skin. The taste was decent, although I wasn't expecting the chicken to be fried given the name in the menu. Lastly, got the classic stir fried beef wide noodles. The flavor profile was correct, but could have used more of it. Also the beef was a little more fibrous and not that soft. Overall, food wasn't great, but wasn't bad. Around what I would expected for a Cantonese restaurant further out in the 'burbs.

For less than 10 buck this is the best deal ever! The roast duck is also a must try, but I don't have a picture of it rn.

I can't say about the other items on the menu but the roast duck at this place is really good. The skin is crispy and it doesn't have that fatty taste. It comes with a plum sauce dip which makes the dish even better. This place has 2 menus, one for the local folks and one for Asians. Unfortunately, you cannot order from the Asian menu for delivery otherwise I would've ordered something else too.

The food was delicious. It's my first time here and it's a great find that they are open after 9pm. Both my little Sis and I are craving hot and sour soup. The service was also great. The server, was friendly and kind. The ambiance was pleasant and enjoyable. I definitely will come back again. They have Peking Duck with bun style. I like flour instead of hun with my Peking Duck.

Sautéed pork jowl, steamed free range chicken, deep fried pork intestine. All were wonderful and tasty, pork intestine was extra crunchy.

All dishes were tasty, good quality and quantity. Pork intestine was very crunchy! Also ordered eel hotpot rice, nicely done with 'crispy burnt rice'.

beef chow fun with black bean sauce.

Off of central in Kent closer to s 277th street. There was only one young person in the place with us. Two guys working the place. The owner who catered to us, and the cook. Not sure why I never heard of this place. Owner said they have been open for 3 years now. The food came out fast. We actually ordered too much we had it for three more meals at home. I think overall the food was good. Like I was telling the owner I normally drive to Canada to get Chinese food, or San Fran for dim sum. I'm pretty hard to please. But since I like to support local, I'll bring my friends here another time for lunch. The decor was minimal but nice. From the outside it looked like it was closed, and like it was a home or doctors office. It's right next to a bikini barista. So we missed it the first time. It's a brick building. The tea was really good. The perfect amount of Chinese leaves, and it was nice and hot for a cold blistery day even if it's almost spring.

I have tried several dishes since they have been around, but tonight I had a craving for some of longtime faves: moo shu (any kind is good, tonight was chicken), scallion pancakes and hot and sour soup. I don't know if they have a new cook, but the food was even fresher and brighter than its usual high standard. The moo shu had a wider variety of vegetables/mushrooms (I am going to guess wood ear, lily flowers, maybe shiitake), and everything was cooked perfectly (not limp and overcooked). Soup had just enough cornstarch, because there is nothing worse than hot and sour that is too thick. My only complaint is they put hoisin in with my pancakes (which was probably just meant for the moo shu), and I missed the thin style sauce that usually comes with scallion pancakes. It's really easy to order online, and they text when the order is ready. If you eat in, service is always friendly, and I wish I could get one of their cute staff shirts. I have a feeling an Eat Time jag is about to happen!

Based on the 159 reviews, I am going to assume maybe the business changed owners and the reviews reset. I will say, I have been reluctant to return here. I don't recall the food or service being impressive. However, on this visit, the service could not have been friendlier and the food was far better than I remember. In the past, we always came here for lunch and even though we came during lunch hours today, we ordered from the dinner menu. We wanted to try an entrée not offered for lunch and it was pretty good. This place did a couple things really well. Their soy sauce was homemade and their chili oil was full of flavor. I'll also say we were the only no Asian's in the restaurant and it's always a good sign when you have an ethnic business and your people are your main customers. We probably won't rush back, but I trust these guys to serve a respectable meal.

Many speaking mandarin, lots speaking English. But anytime I go to a place and it's not filled with Americans but the people the cuisine represents, it's always a good sign. We were immediately greeted and they have quite a few tables. Many of them are the big round tables with the lazy Susan in the middle. Typical and traditional for a family dinner experience with Chinese food. As it's meant to be served and shared with everyone. You don't typically order your own plate. On our visit we ordered the Westlake beef soup, fried eggplant with spicy garlic, seafood chow fun with gravy, and the salt and pepper fried chicken wings. Every single dish was served piping hot and fresh. The chow fun had a hint of the wok char which is super important. And each dish was delicious. The eggplant was so tasty. The garlic extra crispy and not bitter at all. The crispy coating around the tender eggplant- exceptional! The chow fun was well balanced. The seafood cooked perfectly. The chicken wings, I only wish it had more topping on it. But fried well, light batter and seasoned to perfection. The soup was light and with a little white pepper, I was so satisfied. We will definitely be back. The service was great. They were friendly. Just a tip, they don't take American Express.
