During a leave of absence , I saw a different hairstylist (a level 2) stylist for a cut, and balayage. During the consult, the stylist seemed confident about being able to help me achieve what I wanted. Which was more than reasonable and should've been able to be achieved because frankly it was just like a caramel balayage, nothing crazy. I did not feel that my layers were adequately trimmed. They were not even and my hair felt rough ... my hair looked healthier before the haircut. The balayage technique was not actually even applied. The stylist performed a partial. I went in with level five hair and still came out with level five hair after being in foils for a couple of hours which never happens. I'm always able to get great results with lightning my hair. I left feeling extremely disappointed. When my husband came home, he automatically just said " oh, did you cancel your hair appointment? I thought you were going to the salon today?!" And I had to explain that I did, but he said it looks like nothing had been done. I did reach out a week later, a master stylist reached out to me to fix my hair. Ultimately in the end, I know that the stylist did all they could with what they had to work with to make it look decent. The "fix" was just as disappointing. I have literally spent my entire summer trying to get my hair to heal from this experience. And between the cut and color I spent a lot of my hard earned money to not enjoy the results or frankly the experience. This all happened a couple months ago back in June. I wasn't sure about writing a review, but after taking some time to think, I thought it would be best to let everyone know. Also, I'm not sure if they started using different hair color, but their toner washed out really quickly. Like after one wash. I've always enjoyed most of the stylists here, but if you're gonna spend the money here, really do your research on reviews and book accordingly.- I highly recommend Crystal! She's the best!

After spending two hours extra in the chair sitting twiddling my thumbs, and paying for multiple colorings just to match, three additional hours later I had two wefts installed and a cut Only to find they completely forgot to color and install a whole other weft. I left with the promise we would work together on the coloring and install of the forgotten weft at the time of move up. One week after install, ALL wefts had managed to come unsewn at the initial stitching plain as day when looking at me straight on. After a few weeks due to my work schedule, I called to book an appointment and was declined stating Lexi was unsure that I would be a good fit as their client. I believe this to be due to the fact that myself and three of her stylists all agreed the platinum blonde was not the correct choice. I have been doing my own highlights for a while now but have trouble doing the back of my hair, which was darker than the front. When I came in Von suggested that I add low-lights to the front of my hair to help even out the front with the back. I agreed this was a good idea, as I had a lot of blonde in the front. She also suggested a root smudge to help hide some fine hairs near my face that had some Grey. I've never done this before but decided to go with her recommendation. I was happy with how it looked after adding highlight to the back and some low-lights to the front. She had another employee do the root smudge which turned out horrible, as it was a different tone (more auburn) than my highlights. I told her that I thought the color was off, and way too dark as it also covered the highlights that had just been done. She said to give it some time to get used to the new look because I am used to seeing so much blonde. I made an appointment a week later and asked her if she could tone the root smudge to better match the tone of the rest of my hair, she agreed that the color was off and applied toner. Unfortunately the toner further darkened my remaining highlights. She apologized for the outcome and asked me to come back the following week at 11:00am to have another employee (who is better at highlights) add some highlights around my face while waiting for the dark toned hair to wash out. When I came in today at 11:00am (Saturday July 18th, 2026) there were many people waiting for hair appointments. Von greeted me and asked, can you come back later today, we are too busy right now? I said that I was confused because I have an appointment. Von told me that I didn't have an appointment, she had only suggested that I come on Saturday at 11:00am. She had the other person take a look at my hair. They discussed my issue but not in English. She then told me they were too busy today and asked "can you come back in about a week? It's going to take 2.5 hours for her to fix your hair." I walked out without replying. I am so disappointed that Von treated me this way. I really liked her which is why I was willing to give her a chance to correct what had gone wrong. All I wanted was a haircut and full highlights. Now I will have to pay someone else for an expensive color correction. Buyer be ware. ​
