    Spacious and nice seating!

Have gone to the 40 Carrots at Bloomingdales uptown for a long time but had never been to the one in Soho til today -- and it has some distinct advantages over the other! Much bigger and more seating , including comfy chairs and tables that anyone can sit at (as opposed to only the rickety patio chairs and tables uptown). Also the smoothie menu here is much more extensive. Loved the coconut matcha and açaí berry ones! Service was friendly and fast -- an unexpected discovery all around!

I never didn't finish a dessert until i tried this

I trusted my friend. I wanted dessert to end my day, and froyo sounded about right. However, this isn't Red Mango or Pinkberry. When I came, which was around 4PM, they told me at checkout they only had Chocolate and their flavor of the day, which was Peanut Butter. They didn't even have many flavors to begin with. And stupid me felt trapped like I was at the cafeteria, deciding between frozen pizza or string beans or something. I could have backed out my order, but instead chose Chocolate to go with my Mango and Gummi Bears topping, which was originally intended for the Original flavor froyo! Ok, it's not their fault that chocolate just doesn't go with mangoes. But the way it was executed here made the taste far worse. For $10, the portion size was enormous and honestly way more than anyone even intends to eat for froyo! The toppings also weren't on top but were on the bottom, so the small mango bits were really rolling in the deep of that muddy looking chocolate. The taste of the "froyo" was more like ice cream, as I could barely taste any froyo. Absurdly overpriced for way too much for a dessert, this was quite possibly my most disastrous order I ever made. Service wasn't even great as the worker barely cracked a smile.

Solid spot for frozen yogurt! Make sure to have a covid vaccine card if you would like to dine in. I and my friend shared a Large in original flavor (They didn't have the flavor of the day, not sure if they ran out or what) with toppings of Mango, Strawberry, chocolate chip cookie dough, and caramel sauce which the female worker was kind to separately pack in another small container or else it would overflow. The original flavor was sweet and tart, can't go wrong with the OG. Mango was the best (tasted pretty fresh). The strawberries were a bit of a letdown since they were frozen and the cookie dough was way too sweet in my opinion. They were generous with the amount of fro-yo and toppings! I didn't know caramel sauce went so well with fro-yo until that day. Definitely recommend! P.S Major props to the workers for dealing with rude customers as I witnessed on that day. Just walk over to the counter area for check-out if you're not planning to purchase fro-yo.

Expensive. But that's Bloomies. Cute, hidden lil spot on floor 2 behind handbags and shoes. Known for their "proprietary" froyo but they have baked goods, salads, and sandwiches as well.

This is my absolute favorite, tied with Pinkberry. This location is in the mall so it doesn't give you the same feel as the location on 59th st. Also the other location always tends to have more flavors than this location. Today they only had plain, which is okay to me anyway. At 59th, you can feel like you're away from the mall for a moment. At this location, you're still in the mall. I love the music they had playing in the background. It was probably the music from the mall but you could hear it loudly at the Forty Carrots. Never a complaint.

Service: Good Quantity: Good Cleanliness: Fair I love frozen yogurt. Something about this brand makes the best sweet, tangy, creamy and just the right density taste of frozen yogurt. This is a much smaller location compares to the midtown east location which is a full restaurant. This Forty Carrots is located on the 2nd floor of Bloomingdales Soho with a small seating area, and I was lucky to get a seat. I ordered a small cup around $6 plus tax which was plenty for me. I would suggest a large size for two people. Every time I pass a Bloomingdales, I can't help myself to go in and indulge a little cup of happiness.

Such a lovely treat after the shopping spree at Bloomingdales. So many people deemed this as tue besy frozen yogurt place in NYC, so I had to take the opportunity and try this place out (with a fairly full stomach). I got the smallest size of plain low fat yogurt, which was pretty expensive, $6.53 after tax. There are dry and fresh toppings available, ranging from $1-$2. Forty Carrot isn't a cheap dessert spot. But the portion I received was huge. The yogurt tasted great, not overly sweet and was sour too. It didn't taste artificial or like ice cream at all. I could definitely tell that it's yogurt if someone just gave me that cup. Hehe. Anyway, I still managed to finish the whole cup because I didn't want to waste money. This is by far the tastiest frozen yogurt I've tried in NY! It's a shame that they only open inside Bloomingdales.

Really great place to get froyo hidden inside Bloomingdales. Sometimes I venture to SoHo just for some forty carrots. I think they switch up their flavors every week but they always have the plain yogurt which is my favorite. It comes out looking like a lot but the center of the froyo is empty which disappoints me every time I get there since I would want more. The prices are fairly decent and you can add toppings for extra, I have yet to add any toppings since I feel like just the yogurt itself is so satisfying. The employees are friendly and there are almost always seats so you can sit and enjoy the delicious tangy and tarty frozen yogurt. I would definitely be back as it is a better alternative than all the other frozen yogurt places in my opinion.

If you're (A) a quick shopper and (B) love frozen yogurt like myself and have to wait hours for the slow shoppers, head to Forty Carrots on the 2nd floor of Bloomingdales and take a seat. FYI: Perfect resting spot. They have frozen yogurt, fresh juice & smoothies, soups, salads, sandwiches, and other baked goods. It was 30 minutes till closing and they didn't run out of yogurt or rush anyone out. A small frozen yogurt cost $4.90 including tax. But it's no small it's more like a large. They had plain & coffee and I requested for both flavors. The coffee was amazing and the plain was okay but the two flavors blend well together. The texture is great and after half an hour I wasn't left with a liquidity cup.

A much-needed frozen yogurt after my final exam!

The Caesar salad was not edible. The lettuce tasted metallic. I expected better from Bloomingdale's.

There are different types of cold treats: gelatos and more slushie like consistency frozen confections that are served in a cup. My vegan friend appreciated that he could choose from multiple vegan flavors, not just be limited to the one and only offering, which is what most places usually have. Melon flavor was incredible. Tasted like frozen melon was crushed with ice and chopped into an ice/smoothie blend. Super refreshing. Very sweet, though. All flavors are very sweet, so a small portion can be shared and you will feel satisfied. I personally enjoyed their in-house special flavor of gelato: honey cream with crushed almonds, pistachios, and hazelnuts. That was bombastic! Love how nutty the consistency was. I love nuts, so this almost reminded me of a chunky peanut butter situation: just more fine grained and smooth, with gelato being the base. Highly recommend trying this flavor! Focacia was okay. A bit too dry and bland for my liking, but still decent. My favorite item was the pistachio bombolone which is officially now my favorite dessert. This was magnificent! The yeasty dough was so light and airy--perfectly light and balanced. The filling of pistachio cream was very delicate and not sweet at all, which was such a nice surprise. I do not like saccharine dessert. The fresh raspberry jam was a perfect balance to the pistachio cream. I never like jams in my desserts, but this was a perfect complement. Woooow, what a treat! Can't wait to return for it and to try more of their other flavors--hazelnut & chocolate, coconut, white chocolate, tiramisu. You could taste the superb quality of the ingredients. Highly recommend.
