a hand holding a wrap of food

My Husband and I found this spot on Yelp and immediately the owners were so welcoming and kind. They noticed we were new and we felt like fast friends. We sat on the patio. My hubby got a sandwich that he said was very tasty. I asked Oli to choose for me and I had a delicious Chinese chicken wrap. The different textures were perfect. Filling but not too heavy. We also got a side of fries that were perfectly crispy. We had already decided we would go back just for the people even if the food was just ok. We were elated that the food was delicious! Fresh, flavorful and made with love. We can't wait to go back. I had half eaten my wrap before I remembered to grab a photo. Highly recommend!

I absolutely love this place! This is my 3rd time here at this hidden gem with my husband. The forum club is probably the best club sandwich I have ever had. I have also tried & enjoyed their fried chicken wrap with a honey mustard sauce. But their breakfast burritos really hit the spot! We add jalapeño & avocado. We have always been greeted very warmly by the owner as if we were family coming home. If you are in the mood for a delicious & fresh breakfast/lunch, & want to leave with a happy tummy & spirit, then you MUST come here & experience the magic that is "The Forum Cafe". Oh & try the brownies! They are ridiculously moist & rich.

I am always looking for something a little off the beaten path, so when I saw this place on Yelp, we had to give it a try. It is a little tricky to find as it is in the courtyard area of an office building, but you need to go. The service here is amazing. They know everyone by name and what they like to order. Immediately knew that we weren't regulars and wanted to know our story. If that wasn't impressive enough, the food was just that as amazing. We had the grilled turkey & cheese sandwich, grilled cheese, fries, and the brownies (because everyone else was getting them). Everything was homemade and fresh. Sandwiches, salads, desserts...everything looked great. Sounds like it is a popular spot to cater from as well.

This place is an awesome little cafe. My wife and I came to Scottsdale for a little vacation and decided to check this place out. I had the sirloin burger and she had the BLT. The BLT was absolutely delicious, the bacon was perfectly crisp and there is a TON of bacon on the sandwich, not like other places where you bite into the sandwich and it's all bread, lettuce and tomato. The burger was delicious, but let me tell you about these French fries......... perfect combination of crisp on the outside and fluff on the inside. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Also, treated ourselves to a hazelnut latte, which didn't disappoint. Forum Cafe is run by a husband and wife (support local business) with lots of personality and zaz! We were thoroughly happy with our visit, and will definitely be back again!

We were lucky enough that it happened to be restaurant week (1 appetizer, 1 entree, & 1 dessert for the price of $55!) I decided to get their infamous original chopped salad, fair trade short ribs, & blueberry pudding cake. My partner opted for the burrata paired with their noble bread, crispy salmon, & midnight brownie. Our favorites were their burrata & crispy salmon, with our not so favorites being the rest. The chopped salad was mediocre at best, nothing worth coming back for. The short ribs were overcooked, making it extremely dry. The blueberry pudding cake was incredibly dense and dry. The brownie was as hard as a rock, making it difficult to pick up a piece without breaking the plate while at it. Overall, my partner and I were quite disappointed with our meals. The only silver lining was that our server, Nicholas, was phenomenal!

This place needs to be recognized more... or maybe not and I can keep it to myself haha…read more I love how the restaurant is 'hidden' but also in plain site. Inside, the restaurant is covered with plants, arts, and has that dark, sexy vibe. We came here for a double date for restaurant week but opted for the main menu. Our server was Shreese and she made the entire experience top notch. We got the crispy rice egg yolk nigiri and hamachi crudo. Per Shereese's rec, smear the cured egg yolk on the hamachi and it's so good! Shereese also brought us ravioli to try with fried sage which was decadent and exploded with flavor. For entrees, I got the wagyu NY strip with bone marrow butter and a pommes puree. My boyfriend got the bison ribeye. Both were delicious and had a nice crust on the outside. Didn't have room for dessert but you only live once so make room. The banana bread banana split was to die for. If you go here for one thing, it has to be that. But you should go anyways to try the great dishes this spot has to offer.

I was so excited to finally visit The Ends. I was a huge fan of Anthony Bourdain and just knew the…read morefood here would be phenomenal. We originally tried to make the reservation by calling and said it was for 6 people on Saturday 5/30. We were told any parties of 6 or more would need to speak to the event planner. Odd, but okay. The event planner essentially offered a curated menu that was $150 a person or said if we went with the full menu we would agree the minimum spend was $150 per person. What lol and no thanks. We moved our reservation to another restaurant for Saturday but had someone have a change of plans so went on OpenTable to make a reservation for Sunday, since now we were only a party of 5. When we went to do that it would let us make a reservation for 6, so I'm not sure why we were told our original party of 6 needed an event planner. Anyway we were still super excited for our reservation on Sunday. The hostess was very nice and our table was ready for us. However, that's where our great service ended. Our waitress was Krissy G and it was odd from the beginning. I ordered the Crispy Egg Yolk Nigiri and she said "oh so one for everyone at the table?" What lol no, just for me, the person who ordered it. Others had ordered different appetizers so it's not like we just ordered the 2 pieces for the table and that was it. We also had an order of the fries (super disappointing btw they literally looked like a bowl of fries served at Denny's) and the meatball. The Nigiri and Meatball were phenomenal. I'd reorder both. When we placed our drink order she said they were out of iced tea so I ordered a Diet Coke. It was not disclosed soda refills were not free. I get it, this is a higher end restaurant, but if you are charging $5 per Diet Coke something should be said. For my main entree I started with the Cesar Salad and had the Short Rib Pasta. After taking out order that was the last we saw of Krissy until she came back asking if we wanted dessert. No check ins at all and we did have a couple of things that could have been easily corrected should she have bothered to stop by our table AT ALL. I would have LOVED some pepper on my salad. It's not in the table and I didn't see her anywhere to even flag her down so just ate it how it was. When our entrees were delivered we had 2 people sharing the Bison Ribeye, but they only brought one fork. Again, we sat and waited to see if we could catch her. Finally flagged down another employee who brought my friend a fork about 15 min after his entree was delivered and by this time food was cold. I will say everyone raved about their food. The quality of ingredients and preparation is evident, but the lack of service really ruined our experience. Of course when it was time to pay Krissy was very chatty and seemingly attentive which is normal when you are about to ask for a tip, but just makes it worse to the paying customer. Ambiance of the restaurant is excellent. Very chill vibe, low lights and while others say it's loud we didn't find it to be. I loved the decor and of course the huge portrait of Anthony Bourdain. I just kept thinking my whole meal how he'd never want our experience to have been like this.

However, every time we visited in the past, we had a great experience--until this last visit. We made a reservation for 7:45 PM but didn't get seated until 8:30 PM. While this isn't terrible, it can be challenging when you have a little one with you, but it's to be expected as a parent. Once we were at our table, we ordered drinks and food for the kids. My wife ordered a cocktail, and I opted for an Old Fashioned. The kids ordered pasta and a cheese pizza. This is when things started to go downhill. The pasta was okay, but the pizza had a few hairs on it--more than one, in fact. This made us uncomfortable, so we informed the waiter, and they addressed the issue promptly. As we waited for the new pizza, our drinks arrived, and they were nicely presented. However, while sipping my Old Fashioned, I noticed something unusual in my drink--Tajin. Curious, I asked the waiter if this was a special variation of the Old Fashioned. She replied no, so I pointed out the issue in my glass, and she confirmed she saw the Tajin as well. I felt she was treating it as if it was acceptable, which it clearly wasn't, so I looked at her, signaling that I would like a new drink. (I wish I had taken pictures.) Following that, our main dishes started to arrive. My wife ordered a wagyu steak, and I had the pork loin. Unfortunately, we began to analyze everything after the earlier mishaps, and the vibe of the experience was completely lost. To make matters worse, we were still charged for the pizza that had hair on it and the drink that had the issue. With all that being said, I've decided I will no longer be dining here.
