I was recently in the area and a friend suggested this place for a quick lunch .. it's located inside an office complex and caters to the employees in the various offices. They have a daily special and soup of the day on the screen and on the website, both change daily. On my visit they had a burger and fries. On Tuesday they have a taco special and albondigas soup. Menu consists of Burgers, wraps, sandwiches, hotdogs, breakfast burritos, quesadillas, salads. Nice little place with very friendly owner. The food is good, but was a little surprised to see prices increase by as much as 35% from the menu I picked up right before Christmas. I understand that a small operator in a location not visible from the street has to do what he must to stay in business, but that seems like a big increase for the same menu offerings. UPDATE AFTER READING OWNER'S RESPONSE. I appreciated the well thought out response to my review although I was not seeking one. I don't see a reason to change my review as you requested. My review was succinct but addressed the food and the people involved in a positive way. I understand your obstacles to profitability, as I indicated in my original post, but unfortunately, pricing and value is also something that needs to be noted. I truly wish you nothing but success, but if I do return to your cafe, it will be far less frequently than before. My Husband and I found this spot on Yelp and immediately the owners were so welcoming and kind. They noticed we were new and we felt like fast friends. We sat on the patio. My hubby got a sandwich that he said was very tasty. I asked Oli to choose for me and I had a delicious Chinese chicken wrap. The different textures were perfect. Filling but not too heavy. We also got a side of fries that were perfectly crispy. We had already decided we would go back just for the people even if the food was just ok. We were elated that the food was delicious! Forum Cafe had came to my apartment for a breakfast burrito event and I missed out! But I was told everyone loved the food, so I had to give them a try for myself. I did however have an Italian Wrap instead of a breakfast burrito, since it was about 1pm the time I went in. Everything tasted great. On top of that, Oli and Carmello are phenomenal people. They new almost everyone that walked through the door and introduced themselves to me and talked about how they make everything they sell. I highly recommend. read more

I absolutely love this place! This is my 3rd time here at this hidden gem with my husband. The forum club is probably the best club sandwich I have ever had. I have also tried & enjoyed their fried chicken wrap with a honey mustard sauce. But their breakfast burritos really hit the spot! We add jalapeño & avocado. We have always been greeted very warmly by the owner as if we were family coming home. All the reviews are true! The best thing about this place is the love that the owners put into their food. It's almost all home made. We had the veggie hoagie and the French onion soup and potato salad and banana bread. All fresh and yummy! My wife and I were the only people they didn't know by name. It's not that hard to find, if you know to go into the courtyard and look on one end, where it says cafe. The husband and wife team have been here for 16+ years and it will make your tummy and your heart feel good to eat here or cater from them! I'm adding this that I just found out he is a 20 year of serving Veteran! How great is that! Share this place and spread the love! read more

We finally got around to getting lunch from the Forum Cafe! The sandwiches were very good. They just finished baking cookies so of course we got a couple of those too. We were a little worried about the location being inside the building, but it was very easy to get to the Cafe for pickup. read more

Found this fabulous hidden gem on Yelp a year ago and the forgot about it somehow. Boy am I glad I found it again! Casual little cafe in the courtyard of the Forum Office building. Just drive around the back and enter the courtyard through the northeast doors. What a sweet pleasant place for a meal. Friendly owners and wonderful food. Last time I went I had the build your own salad and a cup of onion soup sitting on the sunny patio and couldn't have been happier. Today I had wonderful tuna salad along with the most delicious tomato basil soup. Take the time to find this delicious little lunch spot for a quick yummy lunch. I am always looking for something a little off the beaten path, so when I saw this place on Yelp, we had to give it a try. It is a little tricky to find as it is in the courtyard area of an office building, but you need to go. The service here is amazing. They know everyone by name and what they like to order. Immediately knew that we weren't regulars and wanted to know our story. If that wasn't impressive enough, the food was just that as amazing. We had the grilled turkey & cheese sandwich, grilled cheese, fries, and the brownies (because everyone else was getting them). Everything was homemade and fresh. My husband and I wanted to try something new. We came across this place on Yelp and boy are we glad we did! I had the tuna melt on sourdough and clam chowder. I am not kidding when I say both were the best I've had, EVER. My husband had the club on sourdough and was equally happy with his. If you haven't had the chance to stop by this place for lunch, you should definitely try it out. You will not be disappointed. This place is an awesome little cafe. My wife and I came to Scottsdale for a little vacation and decided to check this place out. I had the sirloin burger and she had the BLT. The BLT was absolutely delicious, the bacon was perfectly crisp and there is a TON of bacon on the sandwich, not like other places where you bite into the sandwich and it's all bread, lettuce and tomato. The burger was delicious, but let me tell you about these French fries......... perfect combination of crisp on the outside and fluff on the inside. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. Also, treated ourselves to a hazelnut latte, which didn't disappoint. Forum Cafe is run by a husband and wife (support local business) with lots of personality and zaz! I work for Dignity Health and used FC for catering. Oh my! Just fantastic. FC catered our 3 day event and did a magnificent job. We surveyed our participants after the event and the ratings were 4.5 out of 5. The cookies are yummy yummy and they are homemade! Our menu included wraps, salads, and desserts. Something for everyone, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. The fresh water with lemon and basil was also a huge hit. I work in our San Francisco office but would not hesitate to hire FC again. We visited Arizona from Maine a couple of weeks ago, and were in the Scottsdale area looking for a spot to eat lunch. The Forum Café came up on my Google search, and the menu looked great. We had a little difficulty finding it, but it's definitely worth the extra effort. When we went in, we were greeted by one of the owners, who gave us a menu and asked if we had any questions. As we sat at a table waiting for our order, we watched the owners greet almost all of the customers by name as they came in. It is obviously a place with a lot of regulars and return customers. Our meal was delicious, and the portions were huge! My husband had the Chicken Bacon Wrap and I had the Oriental Chicken Wrap. We easily could have shared one sandwich, but they were so good, we both ate our whole sandwiches. Our kids had a grilled cheese and a BLT. My son said it was the best BLT he ever had! Oli (the owner) also brought out a couple chicken fingers for him to try because he couldn't decide between those and the BLT. At the end of our meal, we were the last ones in the Café and Oli and Carmello (the owners) came out to chat with us to hear about where we would be travelling in AZ. They gave us some suggestions of places to visit, and they were so nice to chat with. A couple hours after we left the Café, I got a call from a friend in Tucson who said "Your daughter left her sweater in a Café in Scottsdale." My daughter had left her sweater behind, and Oli and Carmello tracked us down based on our conversation about our next stop in Tucson and the friend we would be visiting - we talked about my friend's business and they contacted him there. They insisted on mailing my daughter's sweater back to our home, and would not let me pay for the postage. We would all return to this Café for the food only, but we would love to stop in to visit Oli and Carmello again too. Meeting wonderful people like them made our trip to Arizona very special. It is easy to see why they have such a great connection to their community and why so many people are regular customers at their Café. Carmelo and OLI, the owners of the Forum are amazing. They catered for us, and we couldn't be happier. Not only are they the most loving kind people, their love for people and food make them go above and beyond what is expected. We had the best chicken Marsala I have ever eaten. I must say I have not eaten IN the restaurant but I have worked with them to cater 2 events. Oli is great to work with and very accomodating. Even more important is the food....... You must try the chicken alfredo with penne pasta and the red meat sauce with penne.They are outstanding for any event when you need to feed a room full of hungry guys. Great friendly service too.
