I also love the non dairy orange flavor with the vanilla oat milk, takes me back to the Orange Julius days. The drive through line is frequently very long, but I've accepted it. It is the yogurt mill way. If you choose to sit in the drive through line, whatever your reasons, car full of kids, a sleeping baby, a disability, you need to catch up on texts or emails, it truly doesn't take that long and it's nice to have the drive through option available. The staff is friendly and helpful. I remember coming to yogurt mill in high school and my friends working, 20 some odd years ago. I love, love, love the nostalgia this place brings me. There is inside and outdoor seating available. It's usually not so busy that you can't find a seat. I've literally never had an issue when I wanted to dine in. There's a water bowl for pets if you happen to have a dog with you. We sometimes cruise the Virginia corridor with the doggies, so it's a thoughtful touch that they have that available for fur friends. The music is present but not overwhelming, can't say that I've ever really even noticed it. Check it out, explore the flavors and toppings or stick to the classics, the world is yours. I didn't feel like arguing that they clearly aren't, nor do I think it makes sense to have them only inside (assuming they *are* listed on the wall inside). He wasn't rude, just clearly overstressed from the drama that had been happening between him and another employee since we got there. I ordered a small blackberry shake from the same girl who took my first order and it came out pretty quickly. However, when a different employee called out a shake that wasn't blackberry, but something similar (black raspberry or something like that), and no one else walked up to claim it, I walked up and asked if it was for Angela. She had an attitude and said she didn't know. I just took it since it seemed to be mine. This girl had been arguing with the other guy in the kitchen and making things awkward for the other staff, so I wasn't surprised that she was as unpleasant with me as she was with her coworkers. Real charmer. The shake was great though. Super creamy, thick, and sweet without being overly sweet. Chunks of berry were in nearly every sip. I shared an order of tater tots with my brother and they were perfectly crispy on the outside. Prices here are incredibly reasonable and cheaper than most fast food places; my cheeseburger combo with a small fry and drink was less than $10 before tax. I'd stop here again, I just wouldn't expect much from service next time.

I run the Microtel Inn & Suites and Howard Johnson in town and I've put them on the Restaurant list to give to all my customers. We've got lots of lots of constructions workers that stay here and they like a good burger. They all love it, I've never had one complaint after sending anyone there, and they go back again and again, I see them walking in with the shakes all the time after they eat there. Get the Big Boss or the Spicy Chicken any any dessert. Hands down the best in the area. They have a mean special sauce too, get extra. read more

My chicken fried steak had a weird flavor and not sure if it was on the gravy or the seasoning used on the meat. But it was just so-so, nothing to write home about. Best thing was the eggs, done perfectly and hashbrowns were pretty decent. Biggest complaint was the slow service, probably due to it being grad weekend and they were pretty busy with families (according to the cashier), and the extremely dirty place. The bathroom was also dirty, obviously nobody had cleaned it for quite a while. I blame management for not planning ahead and having at least 1 or 2 extra servers/busboys on hand to handle the larger crowd. We decided to return to the Ceres location and call that our home for Hod Rod Diner food. As another recommendation, I suggest taking the carpet out and just having a plain floor; much easier to keep clean than a carpet.
