Fosters Grille is a decent spot. I do think they have good burgers and chicken sandwiches. Are they anywhere, that can change the planets axis? No. Yet this basic concept, works for when in town. I do like that this is close to the parking garage, old town is nice, and the trains can be seen from here. Service is as usual excellent. The fries were a bit soggy. I used to love them, so am not sure what's causing this. They seemed more greasy too. As for the location, nice folks and a clean place. All of the employees were very friendly, and if in the area, this could be a pick for those who are looking for a regular type of meal. There are times when that is appropriate, and this is a decent value overall.

The food was too good. I forgot to take a picture before we gobbled know it all down.

Today was my first day out with my husband after his stroke, and he picked Fosters. I'm so glad he did. Everything was wonderful from the cold beer, to the excellent burger to the massive chicken sandwich to the onion rings. Emily was our server and she was so sweet and amazing when I asked her to go box she brought a bag too. It's the little things that make a difference. We will definitely be back.

I had a burger craving and thankfully Foster's did not disappoint! I had the Olde Fashioned Charburger with mayo, onions, and mushrooms, and subbed the side of fries for onion rings. The burger itself was nice and juicy, and the onion rings were fresh out of the fryer. Staff was friendly and I loved the ambiance as well. The price is a bit steep (over $40 for two combos with add-ons) but I would definitely come back. Only reason why it isn't a 5-star rating was the overwhelming smell of bleach. We would've sat outside to avoid the smell but it was over 90 degrees at the time so it really wasn't an option.

I was only here for the fries!!! Stopped in here after visiting the coffee shop nearby. I ordered a full basket of fries to go and the wait was all of about 3 minutes until the fries met me on the counter. Not much else report, customer service was so so but not horrible. The young lady who helped me was very short and matter of fact when taking my order. I mean, I know I only ordered fries but that should not have determined the level of customer service I received. Location was clean with plenty of seating along the window and in the back. If you enter from the side, watch your step or you'll break your ankle from the drastic drop. Reading is fundamental, they have signs posted.

Burger and a side of fries. Friendly staff. Big juicy burger with fresh toppings. I got lettuce, tomato, onion pickles and bacon on my burger.

    Elementary school cafeteria food.

We all agree on 2 thumbs up across the board for decor and ambiance. It was giving industrial-NYC-Soho vibes. Quite impressive for Main Street Manassas. Timing was everything ... we were too early for the dinner crowd and just missed the lunch rush so the parking Gods were on our side ... we snagged a spot right in front of the restaurant. Stephen was a gracious server / bartender to our wee little party of 3. The beers were cold and the Cadillac Margarita was decent. The Rueben and bbq wings were raved about (especially the bbq sauce ... it was legendary)! Unfortunately, the salmon bites and the pork belly deviled egg appetizers were soooo salty and just not edible. Also $15 was diabolical for the portion size of the salmon bites. (Pic attached) I've paid that for a full bourbon glazed salmon meal with rice and veggies. Not a deal breaker. Would most def return to try other app / entree / summer cocktail options. Looking forward to hearing YOUR opinion. When you go, tell them you saw it on yelp.

Spotless, including the bathrooms. The service was excellent. José was very nice and helpful. A well educated young man. The food! Well, food tasted like homemade food. Serving was huge and the food had an explosion of flavors. The meat was tender and juicy, the chicken was seasoned so well that it didn't taste like chicken. It was so good and it wasn't dry. Shrimp was also delicious. We will come back.

Like an old school cafeteria or something. Not the worst but not terrible. The music is also interesting. Not exactly my cup of tea, but fine. However a 5 minute break from music to talk about random stuff was less pleasant. But what about the food? The food is legitimately not good. Even great service can't make up for bad food. We started with spinach artichoke dip that was flavorless beyond the massive slab of cheese on top. The rest of it was so runny you couldn't even get it onto a chip. My wife's bean soup was ok, other than it had beef stock in it when they initially said it didn't. My pork was edible. Just. It was massively overcooked and too salty, but it wasn't so off putting as to be inedible. But the refried beans were among the worst I've had. I say among the worse in case I can't remember worse. But I can't remember worse. The beans were so dry they would break into clumps when trying to eat them. And the flavor wasn't great on top of that. One other note -- among the stranger menus I've seen. I probably should have checked more carefully before giving this place a try.

Omg so many thoughts on this experience…read more I'm so glad i didn't immediately know it was a restaurant located in a hotel. This prob would have deterred me, even a little bit. The Apple map directions here confused me a little due to this, but parking was really plentiful so that's a huge plus! I went on a Sunday morning and lo and behold there was a hole farmers market or pop up set up all through haymarket! Busy weekend for a brunch but haymarket is SUCH a cute little vibe and town with so many hidden gems, like this one!! Literally every single item I saw waiters bring out from the kitchen looked so scrumptious, every person around us immediately began digging in and enjoying their meals...and honestly, no crumbs were left behind pretty much every time. We started ordering a yummy cocktail. I was really in the mood for the Paloma with grapefruit juice but sadly they were out of grapefruit juice fortunately, they had plenty cocktails available that were not explicitly on the menu! I ended up having a delicious espresso martini, prepared, right and honestly, I would have had another!! Not too sweet. Not creamy. And with 3 beans. Impeccable no notes. I ordered the red House breakfast. Man those home potatoes were so delicious....they clearly cooked them seasoned deliciously and then flash fried, so crunchy!!!! Amazing. I found that their execution on their meals was really impressive. My sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly and paired so yummy with the toast. The bacon had delicious flavor too. I ordered a biscuit because I had heard that their biscuits were really yummy but unfortunately they did not have their bacon biscuit so it was just a classic biscuit. It was good, certainly dense and clearly homemade. My girlfriend got the poutine. Looked so delicious and was really enjoyed! The gravy was thick and flavorful! We sat down and enjoyed plenty of conversation and a really nice environment. Nobody rushed us, service was just the right amount of attentive without interrupting conversation constantly, and the floor to ceiling windows let in beautiful natural light and views of the town. It was the perfect brunch spot for a low-key, but delicious meal. Just a hair out of the way without being too far. I came out with a really good friend of mine to celebrate my one year wedding anniversary with her and it was the perfect possible location. Shout out to the staff for being so welcoming and kind, and even taking a picture of us when we asked to commemorate the occasion. I'm sure they are used to people walking in to the hotel lobby looking as confused as I was looking for red House Tavern.
