This was the first place I ever tried and they treated me so damn well! I was always scared of getting nails done because of the fear of it not being clean. This place is not only clean but relaxing. I also always go alone and they are great. I have probably gone over 10 times now and loved the service every time. I live in the Bay Area and every time I visit my partners family I come here. I got my pedicure done here for the first time yesterday 2/1. I paid $55 for the luxury pedicure in gel. Two things. 1- the gel on my third toe is coming off less than 24 hours later. And even worse, 2- the tech had dripped nail polish on my skin, and she used a nail file to remove it. It hurt when she did it, but then today I noticed the abrasions. This is completely unacceptable and the salon needs to re train their technicians. read more

I recently discovered this place and have been twice - once for a manicure and once for a pedicure. The place was busy both times, but I didn't have to wait more than a couple minutes. Both services were very good! Their staff were experienced, gave great tips, and were friendly and professional. The only feedback I have is that their place is really warm. I'm not sure if they have regular air-conditioning. They did seem to have portable kind of fans/coolers. I happened to be seated near the wall where I could see the thermostat reading of 80 degrees! This week I was off work and had to get administrative life task stuff done so I thought I would give myself a treat and get a manicure. It's been 10 years at least. This place was friendly, uncommonly accommodating, as I was a walk-in. However, the young man that did my nails was not friendly not a smile not a hello, nothing. Not a word. I asked at the end could I get another topcoat he said,"No, you don't need it. It's dry; it's fine." it chipped the very next day in the morning... I called to ask if this was normal. The woman told me in a very rude voice. They didn't guarantee regular manicures, only gel. A manicure should last 5 to 7 days not just one... We go to professionals for a reason. And be nice. Small salon tucked in by safeway. My friend asked if I'd go get my nails done with her, I said yes. She didn't want to make and appointment so we were walk ins. We arrived at a time that was booming. The over all Salon is very welcoming , professional and a CLEAN establishment. Tammy (the manager) is the person you will most likely make first contact with and she's just a Gem! She is kind, respectful, listens , understanding and really leaves you feeling like you should when leaving a day of pampering. My mani was clumpy, uneven, and literally chipped the next day. They also didn't bother to shape my nails (or even ask what shape I wanted), or even clean up the polish they got on my skin. I can paint nails better than they can - definitely not returning. read more

I have been here several times and service was fine. I do a low maintenance manicure and get my nails buffed. And a pedicure. Basic with a polish. Today, Thursday the woman in yellow with glasses, mask and a bit older chose to buff my nails hard with the little orange scratchy file instead of using the usual soft buffers they always use. I pulled away repeating a buff and she still rubbed my nails hard with the scratchy file. I always tip $20 bucks. I'm always polite. I guess she has an issue with taking care of people. I wish the acrylic application was as good as the pedicure. But sadly it was not, I should've stopped her when she blobbed the superglue to my nails and I felt it seep under my nails... this has been the thickest acrylic application I've ever had. I have all the supplies needed for nails (I like to do my nails, for this reason...) and none of them worked. It took 2 days to remove just one hand and the saving grace was a literal rotary tool from my husbands work kit... I didn't go in to get them removed because of the trauma left on my nails and myself. I'll never get acrylic's due to this experience here. Second stop at this nail spa and I am beyond impressed by the quality and talent of the staff. My first visit I received a lux pedicure and full set of acrylic nails. Both services were superb and my nails were fantastic! My second stop was for a fill and pedicure and again the service was stellar and my nails are gorgeous! The shop is incredibly busy; so, I suggest booking an appointment on their website to secure a spot. However, they accommodate walk-ins and the nail techs work efficiently and quickly so if you have to wait, I am sure it's not too long. Further, I felt very comfortable at this salon. This establishment is very nice and clean. An appointment is recommended, however my daughters and I were walk-ins and they sat us pretty quickly. Very sweet technicians. This is my go to spot for pedicures. I've gone to them a couple times for manicures and it was good, but I usually do my own fingernails. I've gotten both their basic and luxury pedicure. The hot stones are amazing. Always at a perfect temperature and each person who's serviced me has had great pressure. I don't go to a specific person, but each time they've all done amazing. My toes always look great and I leave feeling very relaxed. The place itself, the tools, and chairs are always clean. Cleanliness is and this place passes. Pricing is pretty standard, they aren't the cheapest, but they also aren't the most expensive. I would highly recommend making an appointment as they can get pretty busy sometimes. read more

Pedicure was ok, should be spectacular for $40. I have been asking around about a new salon & several times BrandiePaul Nails & Spa was recommended...they're now open on Sundays! After planning my day around getting my nails done today I show up 10 minutes prior to my appointment time only to be told "no one wrote my appointment down & they're too busy for me" when I questioned how this could happen AGAIN they basically accused me of lying about my appointment, I showed them on my phone where I called & they still didn't believe me & wanted to see the number I called saying people mis-dial all the time...WELL, I DIDN'T..this is the 2nd time they said "I don't see your appointment" so here I am getting my nails done by Kayla at BrandiePaul Nails & Spa!
