I left a review about a month ago and the body perm I was given by Kelly had made my hair dry and brittle. Please read my previous review that stated I received horrible service for the money I spent. Kelly was jumping from one customer to another doing nails and leaving me under a dryer and told me to get up and leave anytime I wanted. Kelly did not take the time to take me back to the chair and style my hair. I patronized this salon years ago and the hair stylist did an excellent job on my hair. I guess she no longer works there. There was only Kelley and another person, a male running the salon. I was very disappointed in the service I received. I will never return. I have come here in the past for my eyebrows! They take you to a room in the back of the salon, It's so comfy and private for waxing and threading. The prices for waxing are great!! Although I know I can get threading done elsewhere cheaper I prefer it here just because of the staff! I just came in for a Mani-Pedi with gel polish! And I have to say I was impressed by the selection of colors and I worked with Kelly who was AWESOME!!! We had great conversation and she was very friendly as were the regulars in the salon (always a plus for me). They get busy on Saturdays so I would definitely call and make an appointment. I saw several people come in and have to wait at least 10-20 up to 30 min. If you like magazines and have time to spare by all means come in and enjoy the conversation! The coupon is not redeemable, apparently they never requested a coupon be posted on their Yelp page and when they tried to remove it Yelp couldn't see it... The only bummer but still very worth the visit! 8/1/2017 This is the second time in a row I've come to this place with an appointment and was sitting in the waiting area (for longer than necessary) watching others get serviced before me. This particular time was a bit more frustrating then the first as I had a full day planned and only squeezed this appointment in. When I arrived one of the staff and a customer (also with an appointment) were standing outside the locked shop. The staff went on to explain she'd lost her key and we were waiting for another staff member to let us in. A woman (walk-in regular) walks up and says she'll wait cause she needs services. When we entered the shop I sat in the waiting area while they prepared two foot spa tubs (thinking one was for me), next thing I know the lady with the hair appointment was pushed back to the afternoon and the walk-in gets the service (bad business) then another customer walks in sits and says, "pedicure please." They tell her to pick her color" she places her things in my seat and when I was called to the tub (because the customer assumed they were telling her to sit) they began to pull me away from the tub and make, make another tub for me and that was hurtful as I've been coming here for over a year. I live in the area, and I come here because it is cheap, clean, and the staff are friendly. I've never been one for bells and whistles, I just want my nails to look good, and here they really make sure they send you out with perfect nails. One time I came in late to get my gel changed. But something happened with my gel where they didn't look nice, and they begged me to stay to fix them, even stayed past their closing time, just so they could send me out with perfect nails. Make sure you call ahead to make an appointment though, there aren't too many people that work there, and sometimes they will leave early if there are no appointments and the store is slow. read more

Kelly is amazing both professionally and personally. This is the only place in town I trust with creating acrylic masterpieces. She takes the time to shape my accrylic nails so they look natural just like I like. I recommend making an appointment, most days they are booked solid though they seem to always find a way to sqeeze people in. All the gals are super friendly and are always booked with repeat clientele. One day I came in and was fighting a cold and Kelly gave me her last couple wellness tea bags. It was super sweet. They have a huge assortment of gelish colors and are willing to put it on toes too (not all places will do this). Took me and my daughter here to get our nails done. We had to wait a little but we didn't mind. They gave me a full set and a pedicure and I love them both. Hai, the only guy in the salon did a bad haircut job. He charged me $25, keep bragging all the time about how good he was, and ended with my ugly haircut. He talked too much and gave me a headache. When I got home, I couldn't style it no matter how much I tried. I had to go somewhere else to fix it the next week. I dared not come back there to have it fixed. I love this place! I have lived in this area for nearly 3 years and I've been to a few of the local salons. By far, this is the one I now frequent and its not only because the staff are wonderful and the owner (Rosie) is extremely welcoming.... it's just the overall good customer service that they give you. The work they do is very good and always walk away feeling very satisfied with the end result. I also like that the ladies that work here have been with the salon for years! I typically come here for all my nail and pedicure needs.. today I went for a full which leaded up to a new set which I expected. but my shape was way way off and it really bums me out because I love Kelly and everybody there! they have had awesome past visits with me but I'm not sure if I'll continue to go back for the constant rush while getting my nails and the gel that was left all around my finger tips. Unfortunately I'm not one to make a scene, or let them know when they aren't meeting up to my expectations so I probably won't go back, but will have them fixed elsewhere at a later date since I just got a new set. I forgot to plan ahead on a pedicure, so I called to see if they could fit me in right away because I needed to make it to the airport after. My normal salon was too far away. The woman on the phone said yes. When I arrived, the door was locked. After she surfaced from the back and unlocked it, I was informed that it would take half an hour to get to me because she had to do a wax. I made the poor decision to wait for her because she said she could be done before 5:30. I asked to see their gel colors, then she seemed confused and intimidated. She started explaining gel to me, which seemed weird, so I told her I already know how it works. She sits down to work on me then seems shocked my current polish is gel, and is awkwardly accusatory about it, although she frankly should have asked whether it was if it was going to be such an inconvenience for her. She nervously grabs a bunch of tools then very slowly, and not at all gently, starts removing the polish with a combo of a sander and acetone (used separately, of course). It takes her much longer than gel normally does to remove. After finally taking it off, she paints my nails without actually cutting them shorter. The whole thing somehow still took her until 5:45, though I did not get a pedicure, and only the color change. I give 2 stars because she was almost nice and I also did not end up bleeding, though she was rough. That's about all i can say. They also have some were scent, I assume coming from a candle or air freshener, and it smells sickly sweet. The entire time I was there, no matter in which part of the room, it was overpowering to a nearly nauseating level. read more

I drive all the way from South Sacramento to this nail salon to get my nails done. The drive is about 26 miles one way for me but I can't go anywhere else!! I love Kelly, Vivian and Lynn!! Kelly does an awesome job on my nails every time and they last for weeks. My nails always look good and are nice and strong. I haven't broken a nail in forever.
