I ordered their spicy teriyaki with extra meat, macaroni salad, and 8 piece gyoza. First lets start off with their Macaroni salad that so many are praising. It's good, but it's not like 'out there' wonderful. It doesn't taste like traditional macaroni salad at all. In fact, it tastes like imitation crab or imitation shrimp was added to the mix. I liked it, but i'm not head over heals as so many others are, that continue to come back to this spot. Next up, the gyoza. Tastes just as how it should. Can't really screw it up, unless overcook it of course. I give their gyoza a meh out of wow. Now to the main course: The Spicy Teriyaki. I don't know why they decided to smother and drown my meat in Dickey's BBQ sauce and call it spicy. I called them out on their BS and they told me 'No this is special family secret. Very spicy.' Give me a break. I've been up and down the coast from Washington to California, and this isn't spicy, it's just Dickey's bbq sauce which isn't even G.D. Spicy. Skip this place all together, you aren't missing out, and like another reviewer mentioned, they only have about 5 seats inside their small place. I guess people are really desperate when it comes to mediocre half-assed food. Why not to go Teri-Fresh or even Trapper's for actual food? Sure they may cost a little more, but at least you'll be eating 'real' food. I wont be coming back here, and if I do decide to come here, i'll come with someone so they can give me their opinion on this place. read more

Great Teriyaki! It's freshly made to order and really delicious! I've been many times and it's always been really good!!

Loved the food! It was A LOT though. The four of us each ordered a plate, plus we had a side gyoza (potstickers) and some of their free egg drop soup. The soup was delicious, the gyoza were tasty, and the actual entrees were very good as well. We ended up taking one a total of six carryout boxes after eating our fill. Definately enough to 2 meals per plate, if not 2 and a late night snack. The service was good, and the people were friendly. About $8-9 per plate for dinner. We ordered the Teriyaki Chicken as take-out at this restaurant because the seating is limited and the ambiance is non-existent. If you phone in your order, it only takes about 20 minutes before it's ready. No waiting! The large portions and two salad options were nice surprises. There was enough for leftovers the next day. Very friendly and polite. Order is always done in a reasonable amount of time and pick-up is fast and easy. Their teriyaki chicken specials are quite good. Best teriyaki in town. I love the spicy chicken and Katsu combo. You have order double Mac because it's the best part. Most of the time my wife sends me here because she is craving the Mac :-). It used to have the BEST MACARONI SALAD!!!! Somehow they changed it in the last 6 months and not the same. Yes different than home,or store bought but amazing. Unfortunately I was very unimpressed. The reviews looked good so I decided to give it a try. The portions are good. I got the chicken and beef teriyaki combo. 80% of the beef went in the trash. Try and avoid letting the actual interior of this place scare you. The strip mall it is in is rife with cheap cigarette locations, weird computer Officer repairs, a giant Goodwill is in the build next door! Needless to say, once you clear the door, and inside the menu is massive! The woman who will greet you has perfectly styled hair and always has a smile on. The tables are sparse and honestly this is totally one of those restaurants that functions on take out service!!! The teriyaki chicken breast is truly always succulent and perfectly seasoned! The salad dressing is perfectly sweet and not slathered to hell all over the lettuce! Their take on General Taos is truly unique. Not completely crisped and burnt, it leaves a pleasant taste behind that's almost citrus! They have the classic teriyaki, and a ton of yummy sides to add as well! Parking is right in front, and for a family of 6, we walk away with 5 dishes for about $60.00 and tip! Totally worth it! Once thing to be mindful off, is if you're sharing, you'll have WAY more rice then you can handle, so sides are a MUST with this location! read more

So I will start off and say the food is good -- customer service on the other hand - frustratingly needs work! So I ordered my food to go, was ready when I got there (perfect). Get home, it's the wrong order. I called and he apologized and said he will make it again (all good so far up until here): I tell him my brother didn't know and ate the egg rolls and I asked him what do you want me to do with the rest of the food -- he says, "Bring it back." (This order was because my son and brother were taking it to go for Seahawks TNF and now they wouldn't get to eat it on way to game). I get there, he takes the food I brought back and doesn't offer to comp my food for messing up and having me to come back - or let me keep the wrong food and make me my order again. He argued with me about customer service and I told him it wasn't right and what the right thing to do (for the next customer) was to either comp my order or let me keep the messed up one (what, was he doing to reuse it?!?) He didn't get it. He should've not have me bring back the food, or should've compensated the one he messed up on. This is why I don't like tipping on to go orders, but I did anyway because I feel like it's the right thing to do -- unfortunately you don't know what service you're getting until it's too late. Moral of the story: check your to go order for this place and don't expect any customer service from this place if they mess up. read more

I am new to the area and decided to give this place a try. I called once and ordered. The guy was very quick me. He took my order and hung up on me. I was in the process of asking the total amount of the bill, how long it will be before the food is ready, and if they do delivery (I didn't thoroughly investigate their website before calling). I was so disgusted about how I was treated and just worked a hard day. I didn't feel right giving my hard earned money to a business that I didn't feel appreciated by so I didn't pick up the order placed (I also, as I stated, didn't know the exact cost and when to pick up.). We were pleasantly surprised with our first order...we have gone back a few more times in less than 1 month trying different dishes. None have been disappointing. Good food fast and at a good price. I stopped in having never been here before and was very pleasantly surprised. They have a variety of teriyaki and chinese food options and for eat in customers they had free self serve egg drop soup. I asked for a green salad instead of rice and and got a generous green salad with crisp lettuce and delicious dressing. The chinese food entree also was a generous portion, enough for two meals. Best teriyaki in Maple Valley. I always choose between the Mongolian Beef and the yakisoba. Rest of the family loves the regular teriyaki. The owner is really nice and always friendly, at least to us. They have free egg flour soap and it has to be the best egg flour that I have ever had. read more
