My dogs paws after returning from being groomed! Un freaking believable. There is no excuse for taking off this much of his paws. He has been getting groomed for 3 years (usually by a different grooming service but due to lack of appointments I came here) and I have never ever seen my dogs paws like this. He was groomed on Tuesday the 10th, he still won't walk on his feet. He's been laying on the couch with his feet bandaged for the most part. I will never be returning here again. read more

Love this place. My doggo is part of our family so I need a place that will treat her as such. Four Paws Inn has been amazing in both boarding and grooming my giant, goofball of a dog. Today, Judy groomed her for our trip to a much more humid climate. My dog has many furry layers, so I know this was no easy task. Upon retrieving my pup from their spa, I was surprised to see she had a whole other color beneath her black fur... but she looks fabulous. She was also so soft and shiny! And, with the added lavender scent, she smelled fantastic as well... just wish she could stay that way ... Would highly recommend this place for both boarding and grooming! read more

Always takes such good care of my fur babies when they stay there and they will communicate with you the whole time and send you photos and videos when you're missing them on your vacation. I truly love during the heat. They set up pool and slip and slides for them so that their paws weren't hot and we're playing with them outside in the water really brought joy to my heart. No stars I took my two dogs to be groomed. I told them this was there first time. I took them at 10;00 am. They said they should be ready about noon. Came back at noon and they said they would call . Just to shorten this nightmare, I got my dogs at 3:30pm. That had been fully shaved ( I asked for a bear cut) . I requested not to have the hairs pulled in their ears nor there anal gland expressed. They cut the leather on the inside of their ears until it drew blood. My females paw was bleeding and did so for several hours. Both of could not stop licking their anal area. My only recourse is to spread the word of their inefficiency. I will never go back! read more

We have boarded our dog here about 5-6 times. Most recently Four Paws was under new management and I almost cancelled based on other reviews but decided to stick it out and I'm glad that I did. We had booked prior to the change of management not knowing that was going to happen and I just happened to call and confirm my reservation a few weeks prior to our trip. They didn't have our reservation in the new system but the gentleman I spoke with said he would find it in the older handwritten books and get back to me. Sure enough it was there and then he created our online profile for me and honored the prior billing practice for existing reservations. Overall I'm very happy with the new changes. Prices seemed the same or close but now you get an itemized receipt. I like paying 50% before my trips so I know what to expect afterwards. The online portal is great with lots of details about your pet so hopefully they actually look at it. We usually send our dog with a bed, blanket, home toy and his own food so he doesn't get an upset stomach. My dog is usually eager to go home but he was healthy and clean when I picked him up. I highly recommend them for boarding. We usually do grooming at the end of a stays. The time prior to this most recent grooming he ended up with tiny scabs all over his skin. I thought allergic reaction or bug bites and I brought this up to the new front office manager. She said it was likely brush burn and provided that feedback to the groomers. This time there were no issues. Change is always hard. I recognized most of the staff and overall the new management seems to have improved the place. It's much more organized. If you are hesitant like I was I would give it another try! 4 stars because there is always room for improvement. I would love to see report cards, pics or daily updates of my pet. I have heard some other facilities do that and it's a nice perk. Also, check your balance before paying. The new credit card system didn't take into account that if your pet is scheduled for grooming on the final day and you pick them up after 12 as the policy states you shouldn't be charged an extra day and I accidentally was. They fixed the charge once I brought it up. Phew sorry that was long. I've been waiting to post to make sure those scabs didn't return and they didn't! Dropped my two dogs off again here today and I just love this place so much! Very warm place that feels like home and makes dropping your little fur babies off so assuring. My dogs have been dropped off here about 5 different times and they seem to love it. Very easy check in - walk in and give them your info and on your way. This rating pains me to write because 4 Paws and the people who work there have always been great, know my dog by name their grooming is top notch and my dog loves to be boarded there. I tried to make an appointment for this last week end and talked to Alec ( I think that was his name). The first call no one answered and I had to leave a message, but was called back in short order. I told him that I wanted to board my dog Gracie and he proceeded to tell me that they were under new ownership and proceeded to give me the new procedure/policies. They needed to enter me in the computer (criticized the previous owners of doing everything with paper), prices have increased, require a 50% down (refundable only by credit if a cancellation occurred), so I asked if most of the girls were still there he answered by giving me one name. So I asked for an indoor/ outdoor kennel and he said that he did not have any available, I said OK and asked that if one opened up could he move my dog to it, the answer was no I would have to call them everyday to see if there was one available. This is when my phone call started going south. I told him that they had done this for us in the past and why couldn't they accommodate my request. I asked him if it was because it was entered in the computer that way he could not change it. He told me that I don't have to be rude and if I didn't like the policy I could go somewhere else. I then told him that he charges more for boarding and grooming, requires a 50% deposit ( non cash refund upon cancellation) and with all the changes they are imposing on us they could not accommodate me on moving my dog if an indoor/outdoor kennel opens up? He then told me that he could not make my reservation on the phone and I would have to come in to the office to make the reservation. Frankly, with our 7 year history doing business with 4 Paws I feel like the new owners just disrespected us. It is a sad situation. I feel that they get a star for returning my call. read more

New Ownership! Change is rarely fun, we all know that. I have had some concerns regarding the changes that have been implemented, specifically 50% down for the stay. Picked my dog up after he had been there for 4 days. Number one, when he was brought to me he looked scared and worried with his ears pinned back and didn't greet me with his usual enthusiasm. I loaded him in the car and noticed the dog bed was wet and had dried poop on it. The smell of dog poop was overwhelming on the drive home and I quickly figured out why. He had dried poop stuck to his bottom and his tail. I called to ask if there were issues during his stay and asked if he had diarrhea. They told me no all was good and he must have pooped and had diarrhea in the 6 hours before I picked him up. I asked if it was procedural to clean up dogs and give a report if there are issues and I was told yes. The amount of poop dried on his bottom was not fresh. Pretty sure my dog sat there for 4 days with dried poop on him and also pretty certain his bed and kennel area was not clean. Waiting for the owner to call me back. Pretty disappointed with this place. This was my second time taking my puppy here. The First time everything went well, so i took her there again. When i dropped her off they told me they had a few dogs ahead of her, so they would call when she was done.. they never called, i had to call. When i picked her up i noticed one of her eyes looked small and she had tears on that eye (she just got a bath and trim she shouldn't have any) as the night went on, her eye looked smaller and smaller.. i took a look at it and her eye was red and she kept rubbing it. I was livid.. she is a young puppy and now she is going to be traumatized to go to the groomers with this experience, she was so sad all night. Her eye is still very irritated today. I understand accidents happen.. atleast let the owners know what happened.. Also the girl at the front desk, when I arrived was on the phone and completely ignored me, continued to be on the phone for a long time. Atleast acknowledge the person that just came in by saying " I will be with you in a sec". She was pretty rude. Seemed to be good experience. Booked a kennel for my pit bull mix to stay overnight. Paid for grooming services. Kennel was good size and had outdoor access (paid extra). Grooming was good. Only downside is my dog caught kennel cough even though he was up to date on necessary shots to help protect against it. Staff seemed attentive. When I picked my dog up they did not initiate any feedback on how my dog did. Do, I just asked them and then they gave feedback I was looking for. Would be good idea to train staff on how to give proper feedback on how pets do while there. Is helpful to know how our dog adjusted. But, Would use again. read more

I started Bringing my 6 month old puppy here about two months ago. I can definitely say its the best decision I made! Me and my fiancé work full time, and sometimes even a little overtime. We were at first regretting about getting a puppy especially a puppy with high energy. But Four paws inn has made it so much possible. The facility has really good hours, the staff is very friendly and easy to get a hold of, and has staff 24 hours. My puppy gets so excited whenever I take him there and when i take him back home, he's really tired, which for a puppy, is a big plus! Would recommend this to anybody. 5/5 stars read more

This was our second time leaving our beloved pet, MJ to this dog's haven place. Our dog, ( Maltese-shih tzu) has a some anxiety issues which makes him bark against people and other dogs, so we were quite hesitant to leave him in any pet lodging. But when I first spoke to Diane ( front desk) she assured me that dogs who are left at their care are really well attended to. So we did gave them a try way back in March of this year. The staff at Four Paws did not disappoint. Especially under the care of Britney. She was beyond amazing! She took care of our baby like he was her own. She even took the time to take some photos and video of our pet to assure us that he was doing well. So we came back again to leave our dog for 3 nights ( July 24 to 27) and this time, we were more confident leaving our pet behind because its like home away from home. Not only are their prices reasonable, they make sure that its a very clean environment for your furry babies. Again, thank you so much to all the staff especially to Britney! My dog is not a fan of grooming and shakes every time going in, BUT with Kelli he does so well and is more at ease when he sees her. With 100% confidence I know my dog is in good hands. I did not want a foo-foo looking poodle and of course my wife wanted him to look cute. We hand him over to Kelly at Four Paws Inn without hesitation. People often mistake him for a puppy and at 13 years of age he tolerates their attention. For most of his life he has been pampered and well taken care of by Jess, Kelly, and all of the staff at Four Paws. Rex can be a bit of a challenge, and has some special needs, and whether winter cut or summer cut, he always comes back happy and beautiful. I recently needed to board our dog for 3-days, to enable us to travel for our daughter's wedding. I visited two well-known local pet boarding establishments, and despite our trying to reserve dates 7-10 days in advance, we were told they were 'booked' and could not accommodate our needs. I then visited "Four Paws Inn" and oh, my gosh...what a difference! Unlike the two businesses I initially visited, "Four Pass Inn" was much cleaner and presented a vastly more courteous, professional customer service profile. The facility was very well designed, perfectly suited to deliver high quality pet services (boarding & grooming) as advertised. I also had to change the reservation to include a Wire Terrier, to be jointly paired with our Lab-Retriever on short notice, but no problem. Four Paws staff graciously adjusted to accommodate our need. Both pets got the 'royal treatment', with ours being bathed & nails clipped/ground. We took our two dogs there 10 days ago for the first time. Not only were they groomed like no one cared their shop Is filthy. NO cleaning protocol. Then last Wed our female started to cough after a trip to the vet she had kennel cough. Incubation time is ten days the vet said . She had no other contact with any dogs outside Four Paws.. They receptionist is a piece of work she doesn't have a clue she is the worst person on the planet to be the face of your shop. Needless to say my vet bill of 250.0 to treat the kennel cough and the horrific experience I WOULD NOT TAKE A PET RAT TO THIS DUMP. Stay far away.... read more
