Worst of the worst for nearly $400/night. List of problems and lack of services far too long to list here. AVOID AT ALL COST!

The meal that I enjoyed last night was absolutely wonderful.The service was spectacular. Janet was so warm and welcoming. She knew the menu items thoroughly and was able to answer my questions regarding ingredients and preparation, without hesitation. I had a nightly special that was pan-seared cod with grape tomatoes and sautéed spinach on top, which kept it moist and flaky. This was FRESH fish. This was not a frozen piece of fish that comes in a box from a restaurant supplier....no way !!!! This was drop dead fabulous fresh fish... and cooked the way it should be cooked. I was blown away at the flavor and the quality of the food. My companion had another dish that was fabulous... but mine was out of this world !!!!!!!! They run some special draft beer tastings early in the evening on some week nights. I was there on Wednesday and they had one going on. What fun ! We had a great meal and tried a sample of Cape Cod Red beer that I never would have purchased, had I not tried it at this tasting event. Now I know that I like it, I'll think of ordering it again. By the way, they make a quesa dill that is the best I have ever eaten. It is not thick with stuff flowing out of it. It is lighter, thinner, and tastier than you could ever expect. It's a great appetizer that won't overfill you before dinner. read more

Embarrassing and disgraceful, that is how my family feels about this property! Look, as a full disclosure, I am a SPG Gold Member, and a fan of SPG properties. When I booked Four Points @Cape Cod for 3 nights with my family, including 2 daughters, I had lower expectations, and frankly tried to save some $$ by using SPG Cash + Points option. However, even my lowered expectations were not met... at all. The only pros: cheaper cash rate of $75 per night (considering points), and location in Eastham. Everything else was a disaster! The place is really an old motel, but with better security, as you cannot enter the room from outside. There is the balcony, but it is facing pool, so it is impossible to sit there, too steamy. The place is rundown from outside and even more so from inside. We got to our room at night, and despite the advance call to confirm that they are ready for us, and have enough of everything to accommodate all of us, it wasn't so. Not enough pillows, towels, coffee cups, tea bags, water, etc. I had to remind them daily that there are four of us, and we need more supplies. They "forgot" to empty our garbage cans one day, the room looked dirty every day, even after cleaning, one of the blankets was town down. Everything was run down and dirty, and never a single apology from their stuff. Even Fairfield Inn from Marriott looked good in comparison. Yikes! read more

The staff here are awful. They are rude, inconsiderate and unhelpful. Of anything happens during the night, prepare to get nothing in return, as the girl at the front desk, "Tricia" will be wholly unable or unwilling to help. You've been warned! read more

Huge racket from the heater. My for lock didn't work, everytime I wanted to get back in my room it took a trip to the desk to get someone to work on it. One time I called from the hall phone and was told someone would be right there. 4 calls and 35 minutes later someone showed up to tell me they world need to remove the entire lock, it would be about 20 more minutes. This is not how to run a hotel. They are doing construction, which is really noisy and annoying. They should have closed during attempted renovations. read more

We were in town for a hockey tournament. It was a great place to stay with a large group. The kids loved the pool area, the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was disappointing and overpriced. Our second morning we opted to eat breakfast at "hole in one bakery" less than a mile away. That ended up costing the same for an incredible breakfast. read more

We can hardly believe this is a Sheraton. The walls are paper thin, the lighting is terrible, the HVAC unit is ridiculously loud, the shower plumbing doesn't work right and our TV has little reception. The first night we were here it sounded like two people were screaming in the hallway at 2 am. I got up to ask if they'd go to their rooms only to find that they WERE in their room. This morning we woke up to the melodious sound of someone repeatedly honking their car horn parked outside our first floor window at 7:30am. This is a bit ridiculous for $150 a night in late September when an equally starred motel is $75 tops. read more

Fair facilities but the biggest drawback, uncleanliness!!! The hallways were filthy downstairs! Our tub and sink were dirty and the room was poorly vacuumed! Thankfully Expedia refunded our 2nd night! Find somewhere else! Not up to Sheraton standards!! read more

The only plus for me was the size of the room. It was plenty big enough for 2 kids and 2 adults. Other than that I didn't care for this hotel and wouldn't stay again. Not only is it slightly outdated,but like other reviewers mentioned, the walls are extremely thin. My neighbor's alarm woke me up. The other negatives were the lack of signage. I never saw one single sign, when searching for the pool. I almost wish I hadn't found it too, because the pool was disgusting. It looked as though it hadn't been updated OR cleaned, since 1985. Rotting wood and peeling paint everywhere, yellowed tiles in the pool, gravel-looking flooring around the pool that had big chunks missing, and brown stains on the pool lining. The kids didn't care about all that, but I sure did. There was no way I was getting in there. Oh, and the towels are ridiculously small. Smaller than bath towels. Fine for a kid, but certainly not for an adult. All in all I was surprised that this was a Sheraton. Didn't seem up to Sheraton standards. read more

I've noticed that most of the hotels around the area are either motels, inns, or B&B's. I wasn't looking for any of that, I was looking for a basic hotel with basic amenities and I found it. I spent 3 nights here for training, so after training, I would hit the indoor pool, hot tub, and sauna for some relaxation. The hotel was quiet, clean, and had a good ($11) continental breakfast. It was also in a good location (close to breaches, walking trails, bike paths, and restaurants). read more

We stayed here at the end of summer. The rate is very good and the rooms were clean. The location is good. Here comes the BUT. The staff was incredibly rude. They are very immature and made you feel like they were being bothered when you asked for simple things like replacing the dirty towels they gave you with clean ones. I assume they are summer help from an exchange program as most seemed to be Non English speaking. A walk around the property and you can find most of the staff smoking at a door they propped open. It's a non smoking room but there is so much smoking outside the rooms that it smelled like a smoking room. I would recommend this place for the price but understand you will not receive the same services you should be accustomed to. I was very disappointed. The building needs to have a very large and needed upgrading. The indoor pool needs a better ventilation system and the extremely loud air conditioners should be replaced. read more

If i could give this establishment 0 stars, i would. This place is extremely unprofessional, unorganized, and and takes a toll on your pockets. If your planning on visiting from out of state, do yourself a favor, and pick the Hilton or something. Anywhere but here. Got there at 12:30pm when check in was at 3:00pm. Obviously, they told us the room was not ready. We then left and came went back around 1:00pm, where they then told us the room would be ready early, in an hour. I then waited in the parking lot for what seemed the longest time and went back in around 2:00. I was then told i would get a call when the room was ready. Hours past, it was nearly 6:00pm, and still no call. When we tried to get our money back, they tried to tell us the room was ready around 3:00pm. Ruined my day and my trip and didn't my get my money back. 0 stars. read more

First when a called to make reservations I told the receptionist we would b checking in late he said that's not a problem. When I got email confirmation the morning of check in, I called to make sure my room would be available for late check in the girl said lucky u called. We would of gave your room away. Then the next afternoon while my wife was in shower the shower drain backed up. I went to front desk to ask for a new room. The guy said " must b from the other people that stayed in your room going to the beach all day then showering" can u believe that they wanted to shower after the beach. No new room no discount on the room nothing except, you can shower in the locker room. I wouldn't give my dog a bath in those dirty moldy stalls. Stay far away from here. I cant believe sheraton puts their name on this place read more

This is my 1st 2-star rating... When I travel, I DON'T look for luxury: I don't care about concierge service, I don't need someone waiting on me constantly, I don't care if there's a gym or a spa or a salon, I don't care if there's complimentary shuttle service, room service, I don't care if the furniture is old or if the furnihing are outdated. I didn't care about the loud air conditioning, I don't demand fine dining options. I don't demand a room in any particular location, I don't care if I get a newspaper outside my door or candy on my pillow. My needs are few. What I want - DEMAND- in my accomodations is very simple: CLEANLINESS. This place left much to be desired in that area: The 1st full day we were there (out of 5 nights), we went swimming in the inside pool & there was long human hair and phlegm floating in it, spat phlegm on the edge of the pool and bandaids and dirty towels strewn around the perimeter. The water had visible whitish gunk and dirt floating in it. We immediately got out and went back to the room to shower; the room hadn't been cleaned and we had no clean towels. I found a woman cleaning down the hall & was told that not only did they have no clean towels (the laundry was backed up) but our room wouldn't be cleaned for another 2 hours (3:30 pm) because 2 people had not come to work that day. I was pretty upset & considered checking out. I did contact the manager about the pool, she apologized & promised to remedy the situation. However, the rest of the week our room wasn't vacuumed (there was someone's toenail clipping next to the easy chairs from the time we checked in on Sunday, until Friday morning (I wasn't touching it!), the mirror & glass lamp were never wiped, the tub had mildew around the caulking & the toilet had black mildew stains under the rim (which FASCINATED my 4 year old every time he flushed!), and the carpet was just sort of perma-yucky. The outside pool was cleaner, but still had a dirt ring around the edge & trash was often left laying around. I used points for the room and my son was expecting to spend time at the beach, otherwise I probably would have checked out and gone home. The staff was nice & the location very convenient, but it was just such a disappointment to come back to our room. At least the bedding appeared clean & was comfortable, and they served Seattle's Best coffee, which I love. I do a lot of meeting planning & often work with this company's other brand properties & have always been really happy with their quality. I wasn't expecting the Ritz, but I've stayed at much more modest places with far better standards. This place needs some attention read more

This is my third time staying at Four Points Sheraton Eastham MA. I absolutely love this hotel. It has a great location with neat stuff nearby. Great beaches and shops and restaurants are close. Short ride to Provincetown. I like its central location on the cape. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The indoor pool is fantastic. Not like creepy indoor pools at most hotels. It doesn't smell and it's not 500 degrees. I would give it 5 stars if it was not so expensive ... but I guess it's expensive for a reason. read more

Aging chain hotel. Our first room had a massive puddle under the carpet from a leaking air conditioner and the second room smelled like my grand parent's basement. Further adding to the smell was the fact that housekeeping decided to park their garbage collecting cart in the hall outside our room. The bathroom had a big rusty hole in the wall and the bed linens smelled like they were once used in a smokers room. The only reason we stayed was because I'm a Starwood platinum member and they wouldn't refund our points. Won't make the mistake of ever staying here again. read more

Excellent customer service and best hotel in the area for the price. Cassandra at the front desk left me an ice scraper for a freeze night. Janet, in the restaurant is lovely. Denise at the front desk was more than helpful, and wonderful to speak with. The facility is a bit older, but not an inconvenience by any means. Highly recommended. read more

I recently stayed here with family and had the time of my life. A little "stay-cation" during the off season made a dull winter weekend a bit brighter. The rooms are great. Most rooms have a view of the huge indoor pool area. Comfortable beds, basic cable with widescreen TVs. The one thing about the TVs I didn't like was there was no HD channels. The WiFi signal was a bit weak and didn't work well with my smartphone apps. The pool area also has a large patio area that was great for dinner with the kids. There are plenty of take out restaurants in the area and the restaurant at the hotel was nice, reasonably priced and had great service. The pool itself, though a bit old, was indoor, heated and open during the winter. Can't ask for any more. There appeared to be a shortage of towels. I went into the pool area and found one towel left. The hours are great, open at 9 am and closed at 10 pm which gave me plenty of time to swim all day, go out for dinner and come back and relax in the hot tub. One thing that surprised me was the hotel sold pool passes to area residents. Although a great money maker during the off season it was a bit much when a huge group of children arrived for a birthday party. I recommend an off season stay here. The prices are fair and the service was very good. A great place for a weekend getaway or a family re-union during the winter. read more

A pretty standard hotel. They claimed themselves as a full service hotel. In the simplest sense this is true, but it really depends on your perspective. They have maid service, a restaurant, room service and a business center (IE a computer and printer). Don't expect much more. They also have an indoor and outdoor pool. The outdoor one was freezing. The staff was very nice. We were originally slated to stay next door at the Ocean Park Inn. When they double booked, OPI moved us to the Sheraton. Then when we got to the Sheraton they placed us in a room with two double beds. My wife called the front desk and they gave us a room with a king sized bed. It's in a very convenient location, right on route six near the beach, many restaurants and a national park. read more

Although the rooms are a little dated the rooms were clean and the staff is great! We told them it was our anniversary and when we came back to the room, there was a plate with fruit and crackers and a bag full of sweets. Very considerate and kind of the staff. read more

Hotel has been renovated inside. Wish I would have taken a few pictures to post. The beds are extremely comfortable and hotel staff was very accommodating and courteous. The pool area was nice and very clean. We had a great visit and will definitely be returning. read more

PARENTS, TAKE NOTE: This hotel had many pluses and a few minuses. Overall, it was a nice stay. However, there is ONE PROBLEM THAT SHOULD BE A CONCERN TO PARENTS: The indoor pool, although fenced, has NO LOCK on the gate. A small child could easily gain access to the pool. The pool is surrounded by guest rooms and the pool area is accessible from the lobby. read more

Stayed here for our destination wedding in June with guests staying in 10 additional rooms. The staff was amazing and very accommodating! We stayed in the Highland Suite and the staff nicely put all of our guests in the same hallway so we were near each other. They helped with little and big requests. The indoor pool was fun as well. read more

We went in conjunction with the Cape Cod Old-Timers' Rally. The hotel is well appointed and very clean. The beds are comfortable and the pool is nice as well as large. The breakfast buffet was average but decently done. Now the bumps: The tiles near the pool were extremely slippery, I suspect because of the chemicals in the hot tub. Our feet slipped just walking. No one seems to monitor the pool in the evening. The pool towel racks were empty, kids were running despite signs prohibiting that, and the hot tub was full of kids aged 6-10 despite a clear sign prohibiting its use by kids that age for safety reasons. It struck us as a lawsuit just waiting to happen. The heater/AC in our room roared like a race car when it came on. We have experienced this before at this hotel. It may be a design thing. read more

I stayed here during the off season, end of September, so the hotel was fairly empty. My boyfriend made the reservation last minute through his SPG account, using his points. When he called the hotel he couldn't remember his SPG number and the receptionist was very helpful with making the reservation and helping us figure out his account number. While there we used the pool and hot tub, which were both clean. One negative thing was that they ran out of towels by the pool so we had to wait a little bit to dry off. The room was large and clean with a comfortable bed. We ate dinner at the restaurant. The waitress was friendly and the food was average. We had to leave early in the morning, so we filled out a breakfast request form and put it on our doorknob so our breakfast would be ready before we left. When we woke up in the morning I noticed the request form was still on the doorknob, and called the front desk to find out that the kitchen didn't open for another half hour. Instead of ending it at that and not getting breakfast, Tabitha at the front desk said she would have our meals ready in 15 minutes, which they were, and we were out the door on time. I would recommend this place just for the wonderful staff! It has been over 5 months since I stayed there and I still remember the great service. read more

Place smelled like an animal shelter. Stains all up and down the hallways - clearly animal 'accidents'. The section I was in had no AC in the hallways - both 1st and second floor, that coupled with stains all along the hallways AND the stench of animals made me run from my room to my car. The restaurant staff was good - however the rest not so much. I asked one about something and he actually mumbled something about it not being his job and scurried off. Just returned from a conference on the Cape and stayed here. While the people were nice, OMG the place was so dirty and smelly. Unpacked my clothes and need to launder/dry clean everything. Air conditioner so noisy could barely sleep, hallway carpeting, bathroom and bed head board grimy... Cape was beautiful but staying here totally dampened the trip. read more

Our room was disgusting! There was a large blood looking stain on the rug, handprints on the mirror, moldy bathroom. Our bed sagged terribly in the middle. Trash was piled up at the entrance that smelled of vomit. We visited last year and was obviously shown a Sheraton Club room. You might think well you must have paid less for the room? No, our bill for two nights was $932.46 for that dump! read more

Very nice hotel near the National Seashore. My room was clean, roomy and the decor was very "cottage" or "seaside" lots of blue and white. You can tell it was recently updated. They have 2 nice pools. It was a little hot for the indoor pool. We had dinner in the restaurant and I wasn't really expecting much but the pasta was wonderful! The price of the room was a bit high but it's summer time on Cape Cod and it was worth every penny. The Staff was great and we all had a great time. We will be back again. read more

This hotel could be great, but it needs a major renovation. Our air conditioner didn't really cool the room well and the humidity was bad. It made the room moldy and musty. There is hardly anyplace to hang beach towels and suits, but it didn't matter because they didn't dry anyway. We went to Maine the next day and hung them in our new hotel room while we went to dinner and they dried in just a matter of hours. It was also a lot of money to spend on a hotel that had stains on the carpets, aging furniture and decor, and no breakfast. I will say that the staff was EXCELLENT and the pool was really nice, so there is hope. A few renovations and updates could do wonders. read more

We stayed Labor Day weekend for just one night. Clean room and VERY comfy bed. Walk straight out into a fabulous pool, 10feet deep in the deep end (fortunately the kids stay in the shallow end!). We did not pay too high a price and felt like we got great value for money. Highly recommend for a convenient and comfortable place to stay. read more

Very disappointed. There is no elevator. Poor phone (cell) reception. Only two hotel computers for guests, with quirky printer. Continuous humidity -- whether near the pool or not. The front desk largely ignores you -- maybe there are "VIP" guests, and the rest are relegated to second- or third-class status. There is no way to walk to the beach -- please note this. Cab fares have to be "eked out" by calling the local cab company. (Not everyone in the world can drive in out-of-town conditions.) All in all, I was grateful for the polite housekeeping staff and one woman in particular in the restaurant. I was there for a conference and we were packed in like sardines -- over 200 people -- to hear a world-renowned psychologist. Wish I could have rested better and felt the time away from home to be restorative. I left feeling that the hotel management could care less whether I was happy, at peace, or ever returned. read more

A fairly small breakfast buffet but all items were fresh and well prepared even the oatmeal. Omelettes and eggs made to order as well. Excellent service !! The wait staff was superior than those usually found at a traditional sit down service. Overall a great value and outstanding quality for a hotel restaurant. Highly recommend. read more

I only stayed for one night in the highland suite which overlooks the indoor pool with a big balcony but it was very nice. I have no complaints with the place at all. Very comfortable, very fancy, quiet, nice tvs, and very nice pool area even though we never went in it. read more

disgusting. the place is an utter mess! the locker room is disgusting, with wet floors, a stench, and dirty showers. the pool literally looks like it has a layer of hair on the top, and seems like it hasnt been cleaned for weeks. the hot tub had brown stuff on the top, and ill let you get to your own conclusions on that one. LOTS of other offerings, and as a local we avoid this like the plague. expensive and over rated.... read more

I stayed at the Four Points this past weekend for my nephew's hockey tournament. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival to see the setup of the hotel. The entire place seems to be built around the pool and it looks like most rooms had a balcony overlooking the pool which was a super fun and unique setup. The rooms are very well sound-proofed so that when you close the door, even if there is a pool full of kids, it's virtually silent. The rooms were clean and roomy. The staff was very friendly in letting everyone sort of do their own thing around the pool so we never felt supervised or badgered. The only complaint and it's a small one is that Saturday night we went to the bar to get a drink and watch the Celtics game and the bartender was pouring painfully small amounts for a liquor drink that cost upwards of $10. I even asked if on the next one I could get a full pour and while she said she would, it was more of the same so that was disappointing. But overall it was a great weekend staying here and I would absolutely stay there again if down in the area! read more
