Ladies say @ the spa! Although it was some confusion with our "booked 2 months in advance reservations" yesterday was the perfect day to unwind w my sisters and our mother@ the spa. As we all slipped into our fluffy robes, we were given a tour of the spa area. We had time to kill before the massages, so we decided to utilize the jacuzzi and sauna.you can either wear your own swimwear..or go naked!!(we opted for swimwear... Although it was a lady booty naked in the jacuzzi prior to us getting in. IMO I don't think that should be optional. I think you should be made to wear bottoms..(shrugs) When I decided I've had enough of that..I ditched my bathing suit, grabbed some iced cucumbers and strawberry water, slipped into the nice comfy robe provided by the spa& chilled in the heated relaxation chairs. Just as I was about to drift off into Dreamland, my masseuse for the day came to escort me into the room where she was to would work her magic. Sadly, I don't remember her name! She was very pleasant....& gentle as she rubbed my sin away! We chatted the entire time as well! I was a bit sad when the bell beeped... signaling that our time was up! This place was amazing. From the time we checked in, we were greeted by the concierge and it only took a few minutes to check in as we got to the hotel after check in at about 6pm. Parking garage was conveniently located next door to the hotel within walking distance. Hotel was conveniently located where we were having a quick dinner. The bathroom and other accommodations were excellent. We had harbour views as well as a spacious bathroom which had the accommodations separate and did I mention a tv in the mirror. I would definitely stay here again on the future. read more

Stayed here for one night for a wedding and I was very unimpressed. The experience did not match the price we paid for one night. The room was so basic. The bathroom was weird?? Two frosted glass doors inside a room with a tub and sink and one is the toilet and one is the shower. Felt unnecessary. The shower knob came off in my hand when I first tried to turn on the shower. The robes were rough and the one I picked up had a big spot of mold on it and I left it on the floor to go to the wedding and housekeeping came in and folded the same moldy robe and put it back on the hook. There was no actual fridge in the room just a fridge with sensored drinks which I got charged for just bc I guess two moved when I opened the door thinking it was a regular fridge. The bed was fine nothing special. We did have a nice view! But standing outside and looking at the water is free ‍ I also used their restroom in the lobby and it was unnecessarily big I had to cross a hallway to get to the sinks. I think they priced this hotel just bc it's "spacious." The lobby did look very fancy I'll give them that! The front desk refused to give welcome bags (that we made) to the wedding guests staying at the hotel saying they couldn't but they handed us cards lol they could've easily done a bag but whatever! I booked a room for my daughters who were attending an event Saturday night. When I booked it I received confirmation from the Hotel stating if there was anything needed to contact this person representing the Hotel (Jawaun Singletary- clarified and made awaremy daughters were checking in on my reservation. ) who by the way this complaint is not about him. My daughters (25,21 and 16 yrs of age) Arrived as planned and were not able to check in, instead were instructed to have me call the hotel for no apparent reason. When I telephoned the hotel I stated my daughters are at the front desk and not being allowed to check in. This woman (Mallory) told me she needed the names and ages of my daughters I questioned her why? Is there a security concern? I have never been asked additional questions in this way. Then I started getting frustrated and angry on the phone with this person who then replied "Oh no worries Mr. Parker I will take care of it." I called my eldest daughter back to find out if the issue (Which was never clarified) Was anything resolved? My daughter replied No! She turned over the phone to someone at the front desk and before this person could say anything.. I kindly directed this person to put a manager or someone in charge on the phone. The individual who got on the phone in response to my directive was (Mallory) wtf? During our first conversation she never identified herself as in charge or responsible for this issue we were suffering. I asked Mallory is this protocol you use for all American Express Platinum Card holders? Do you do this with all your customers who book in advance and were in communication several days prior to check in and reporting to you that my daughters are checking in my reservation? I think this incident has a racial undertone and this is not the case for all who stay at this UNPROFESSIONALLY Manage hotel. In my lifetime has anything like ever happened as far as me having to call a hotel and answer questions in that nature. This staff needs to consider additional training. This was embarrassing and caused public humiliation. I will never in my life, consider this place, nor will I ever recommend this office to anyone! Like a few other reviewers, I was lucky enough to win tickets to Flip Flop Festivus 2017. We had an absolute blast. The entire night was great. Upon entering, all hotel staff was friendly and helpful. My friend and I got a bit turned around (...how, Sway? It was only on the second floor lol) but that was okay because we got to see more of the beautiful decor. Listen...the second floor artwork is phenomenal! Colorful and vibrant and inviting. Yes... I must admit..we took some pix in front of it some pieces lol. Moving on... as I said, we were there for an event, not as regular hotel patrons. But the staff that was on hand at the event...they were 100000% on point. We never had a dirty dish there for too long. All the food was well stocked. Everyone was helpful, pointed us to the restrooms...there was not a single thing wrong. Oh and did I mention the view? The night time sky was gorgeous, right there over the water. I loved it. It was a great venue for a wonderful event. Another good point though...they had parking attendants helping people get out of the garage. That was great! Because nothing annoys me more than having to exercise patience (I don't have any) while the person in front of me fumbles. And even the garage attendants were friendly. I don't normally complain about many things but staying here is crazy expensive for what they offer. first there was a random pair of panties hiding out by the table when you walk in. I get how they were missed it as I wouldn't have known about it if my husband didn't put my bag on the table and as I was going through it my shirt didn't fall off to the side. and I normally wouldn't have complained about them but, you can't even get a drink from the bar that is literally in the hotel and bring it up to your room. They take it out of your hands and expect you to get in room dining for drinks. I've never experienced anything like this. We usually stay at the Pendry but we decided to try the four seasons because it's closer to our friends homes. It will not happen again. And we are unfortunately here until Monday. I've stayed in more expensive places and much cheaper places and have never experienced this. I guess they're just trying to make as much money as they can which is sad. Four Seasons Baltimore Congrats For all you worldly people no this location can not hold a flame to ATL or Bora Bora but its a step in the correct direction for Baltimore. When I arrived at the hotel the valet was beyond courteous and attended to my needs like a mother & a newborn. Once I told them I was there for a massage valet immediately mentioned valet was free as a result of my scheduled spa services. Once out of the car I received full instructions on how to reach the spa. I stopped past the concierge desk to first inquire on my upcoming stay. The desk attendant was polite and appeared to have some interest in why was I staying, business, play? I advised her that my future stay is for my birthday however r today I was having a maternity massage. OMG she was elated as if she were expecting. I adjourned to the spa- where I was greeted with fresh water with lime slices. Once in the back the attendant quickly ran through the locker and relaxation area. I was not rushed but she had to get all the information out including showing me that awesome pool they have been hiding -yummy. Pregnant brain forgot the name of the masseuse but not his hands. He rubbed my muscles with just enough pressure. Very patient with the changing of positions (unlike my husband)during the massage. All in all I have to say the Spa alone was out of this world. This is a beautiful hotel. I've had two stays now and it's definitely top class. I had a standard room on the first visit and a really nice suite on the second. Kind of crazy that my hotel room had more bathrooms than my apartment! The views are beautiful, the staff is friendly and helpful, the food at Wit and Wisdom is really good, and everything is sparkling new and clean. There's kind of a strange smell in the lobby (kinda like a BBQ smokehouse), but I can overlook that for all the positives that the Four Seasons has to offer. I've stayed in this hotel couple of times and I extremely enjoyed my stay. The room with the harbor view was very nice and the best is the Sunday brunch. Last time my flight got cancelled and the manager was very accommodative and understanding and helped me to rearrange my stay. I will go back there if I go back to Baltimore! read more

We SO enjoyed our stay at this Four Seasons- they made our romantic getaway weekend celebrating an anniversary especially memorable with 5-star service and expert attentiveness. I must commend Preston Rooks, a Les Clefs d'Or Concierge and Trey, for their help and feedback on Mister's restaurant choices, reservations and guidance on what not to miss whilst in Baltimore. Our corner room was spacious, comfortable and so FAB, it was hard to leave every morning. I loved the shower and TV within the bathroom mirror (I MUST have this in my bathroom). It's a given that everything with be nearly perfect because it's the Four Seasons. That is why I just had to write this review--because my incredibly high expectations were exceeded. This hotel was amazing. We absolutely loved our room the service and the professionalism of the staff. I was treated to a weekend getaway for my birthday from my wife and well worth the surprise. The room was immaculate. The bathroom was amazing separate shower and bath and water closet. It had marble throughout and a in the bathroom mirror. The closet space allowed for garment bags and suitcases with a privacy light so as not to disturb other sleeping guests. The view was impeccable. We stayed on the top floor and had a view of the entire harbor. The technology that was vested into just this one room was above and beyond. There were no Do Not Disturb signs but simply a button to push at your bedside that on a red light at your door that relayed to the staff to not intrude. The best Four Seasons property and I have been to many of them. We got a pretty good deal as we were part of a wedding room block. Even with that it was pricey. Valet Parking is $45 compared to self parking at $16. It works out if you have a car and want in and out privileges. As you enter the valets are friendly, helpful and professional. The decor is tranquil, quiet luxury. Even with a bar off the side it is still very quiet. They offer refreshments as you come in and leave. My room was immaculate. Huge closet. Full bath. Overhead shower. I don't know if every room was a suite but mine was without requesting an upgrade and it had a lovely view of the water. Just stunning. I would like to come back just to stay in the room without having to run around for a wedding. read more

When you first look at their prices, it can raise some eyebrows. It is the price of some people's monthly mortgage. However, after your stay here...you realize it was worth every penny. Every detail is scrutinized and perfected. If you are worried about something, they already took care of it... if you forgot something... they already have it coming to your room before you pick up the phone. Sometimes, the bellmen address you by your name as you get out of your car for a more personalized service. It's the finest hotel you can stay in Maryland. While we were waiting to check in, they brought out a red flyer cart full of small plush toys for the baby. While we were leaving, the bellman brought out another toy and two bottles of water for the trip back. It is located close to some limited upscale shopping but close enough to walk to neighboring tourist areas if you don't mind a 15-20 minute stroll. read more

THE BAD Cell reception in the hotel is just horrible. Not very conducive for business which is highly unexpected for a new hotel. I heard multiple people at the meeting which I attended complaining about it on multiple devices and networks. Also, the tap key card lock in the elevator is cumbersome. I missed my floor 4 times trying to get the card to allow me to select my floor. I get the security, but the same method is used on the doors at the rooms. How much security do you need? THE GOOD Iconic lobby and uber-friendly staff. Kelli at the front desk is cute and awesome! The rooms are HUGE and the bathrooms are the best. 2 headed shower options, in-mirror TV. Could not be better. They also do 2 days of free Wi-Fi which helped with the reception issue. The gym facility is huge and has tons of options. The pool deck is ideal with a view of the bay complete with a bar and infinity pool. Awesomely designed. Overall I'd say this is a great hotel. Can't go wrong with brand new. read more

Everything here was perfect. From the valets and porters, to the front desk, to the room itself, we felt welcome and comfortable at every point. Very friendly and unpretentious. Gorgeous room, comfortable bed. The bathroom has a rain shower, a TV in the mirror, and a phone next to the toilet. Robes, safe, L'Occitane toiletries... they thought of everything. I received a Four Seasons gift card. The Four Seasons website says their gift cards can be used for dining at the hotel. I made reservations for the Maximon restaurant in the lobby of the hotel for Valentine's Day. When I arrived, I was told that Maximon is not actually owned by Four Seasons and would not accept the gift card. When I explained that their website says the cards can be used for dining they said there was nothing they could do. I later contacted the hotel and the Four Seasons corporate headquarters and was basically told that I was out of luck. Not the experience I would expect from a luxury brand. read more

My hubby and I started a tradition last summer to take a 1 night staycation here each August to enjoy the pool and feel fancy for a day. [Luckily he gets a work discount on the room!] We went this past weekend and it was fabulous, just like last year. You really feel like you are transported to a super posh resort outside of the city. The best part is, it's just a 5 minute drive home the next day feeling refreshed. We checked in at 11 on Saturday, thinking we would get a good spot at the pool, and all of the chairs were already full! We were escorted to the top deck level, which was beautiful, but all in the shade. Wah-wah. We decided to grab lunch at the pool restaurant while we waited. They do have a wait list, and by 12:30 they called our cell and notified us that 2 chairs had opened up. Score! We ordered drinks all day and really enjoyed our time here. The staff pamper you and remember your name. The pool is salt water and overlooks the harbor on one side and downtown on the other. The views are truly breathtaking. We stayed poolside until about 5:30 and then we went to our room and got ready for a dinner date at Wit and Wisdom, the hotel restaurant. I did take off a star because last year when I checked our credit card statement we had an extra charge on there from the Splash Pool bar that was not ours, and it looked like the same thing happened again this weekend! [However, for some reason this time there are just a bunch of pending charges. We should have had 3 charges and there were 7, which scared me! However, once they went through there were only the 3 that we expected, so all is good.] The pool staff are super nice and friendly, but it seems somewhat disorganized there, so check your bank statements accordingly. read more

My wife and I went up to Baltimore and stayed at the Four Seasons with my in-laws. We rented a cabana for the day on the 3rd and also attended the Wit and Wisdom party on the 4th. It was all a great time, and the hotel is a beautiful property, even by Four Seasons standards. I worked out in the morning and the gym was well equipped; the pool was relaxing, although a bit crowded. Rooms are beautifully appointed and have some great views of the harbor, especially from the suites. Staff couldn't be nicer. If I could make one recommendation it would be on the food, which was very good (B+), but not great. The bagel at breakfast was delicious, as was the chocolate croissant, but the brisket at wit and wisdom was fatty, and the fish tacos were heavily fried and greasy. But these are minor nitpicky things and definitely not enough to detract from a 5 star review. read more

Maybe I'm just used to the Best Western, but this place was amazing. First of all, the staff is there to please. I needed a little space for a small ceremony because the weather outside was looking questionnable, and they hooked me right up. The icebuckets are filled in the room when you arrive. When you turn on the TV, it greats you by name. We checked our bags with the bellhops while we went to the pool, and they took the extra step of taking the leftover cake we had from the ceremony and putting it in their roomservice fridge. The bed was comfortable, the roomservice food was delicious, the view was great, etc, etc, etc. The pool is amazing. Staff members are constantly refilling water glasses and when you get out of the pool, there was always a fresh towel waiting for us. If you can swing it financially, you and your significant other should do their romanting getaway package. read more

Let me start by saying the stay was very regular.I expected a little more the room was nice and I loves the tv in the mirror it's no Andaz or Ritz Carlton.The breakfast gave me the runs.My man and I stayed for just one night and I left all my makeup products and my makeup bag at least 600.00 or more worth of makeup.The first time I called the lost and found and the lady that pick up was a jerk.So after crying and throwing a tantrum speaking with my sister she was like you need to get manaGment in the line.I called back and the Manager Derrick Lockhart found it and shipped it to me the next day.Im very appreciative that it was returned and un touch.So I'm giving him a 4 star the hotel it's self is about a 3 The food and the lack of hospitality is why I rate this place so low.Besides that it would've gotten a 5 read more

I think the guy at the front desk said something like 80% of their rooms have harbor views! The restaurant wait staff was great; attentive without being overbearing. The Sommeliers were able to pair up our meal with excellent selections from start to finish. The bartenders there are world class (mixing different herbaceous ingredients to make tasty cocktails) and friendly. Not really a 5 Star experience for 600 or more a night I expect more! It was our anniversary not even a card! They had dirty grapes and two old peaches in the room for decoration I guess! After my review for the unprofessional service over a very short phone call, Hotel Management responded with embarrassment & will hopefully prevent this from happening in the future. On another note, my actual visit was exceptional! Valet & greeting staff were very pleasant & made me feel welcome. I told them it was my 1st visit to the spa & they gladly directed me to where I should proceed. When I returned to valet to pick up my car, they even asked how my spa visit was. Stayed here over night (Saturday To Sunday) for a wedding. The staff were extremely accommodating. The wedding was held in the hotel and was nothing short of amazing. Bell boy took our bags up to our room offered us water and to even go get ice. When we returned to our room that evening our bed was turned down, slippers on both sides of the bed, fresh towels. They even folded our clothes. When we checked out again the staff was incredible and prompt. We will definitely stay here again!!! read more

Having housekeeping clean my room without deliberately touching every piece of property that wasn't in my suitcase would have been.... a more normal attitude and would have led to a less tedious experience.
