Should be called five star cafe. Nothing else to say beyond that. Good food. Good service. Especially make sure to get dessert.

Over the past few years though, it has gone downhill quickly. The young, new servers are not trained well and do not know answers to any questions. The older staff doesn't seem to care about customer service anymore. During our most recent visit, I had ordered salmon over a salad. About 1/3 into it, I found a BBQ brush bristle in the salad. Our young waitress never showed up, so I flagged an older woman and told her, she took it and said she'd tell the owner. She didn't come back for a while, in the meantime our daughter found another bristle in her ribs plate. When the woman passed by our table finally, I stopped her and asked what was being done. She said she told the owner, that was all that was said. No apologies, no compensation, nothing. I could have made a stink but we were celebrating a birthday and I didn't want to ruin it for the celebrant. It's a shame that no one cares there anymore about customer service, because the food is usually pretty decent.

We were offered a an embarrassment of riches in specials. Two of my dinner companions shared a heaping Ceasar Salad, while my wife, and Ai chose one of the appetizer specials, potato leak soup. Our soup was enhanced by crispy pardons and truffle oil. My choice for a main was Zuppa de Pesce. It was an astounding heaping array of jumbo shrimp and in shell delights of a lobster tail, muscles, and claws in a fresh tomato broth over linguine. I wond up taking a third of it home. My dinner company were equally pleased with their seared scallops over risotto, and chicken milanese. We shared a truly wonderful tracksuit. Our server, Louis, was attentive, charming, and entertaining. Our friend was celebrating a birthday and said it was one of her best. Truly wonderful spot

Mykos is beautifully decorated with flowers and touches of blue to make you experience a touch of Greece. There's lots of seating available and different sections within the restaurant. Valet parking is available. Our waitress, Laura, provided great detail behind the menu and offered suggestions since she knew it was our first time visiting. Our group ordered five appetizers, and they each delivered in taste and presentation. We enjoyed all of them: 1. Colossal Shrimp 2. Grilled octopus 3. Homemade pita with creamy feta 4. Saganaki 5. Mykos Chips with Tzatziki For dinner, many of us enjoyed the moussaka. Other stand out entrees included the halibut and grilled chicken. Highly recommend a side of the lemon potatoes. Dessert also delivered! We loved the apple pie and pistachio martinis. With lively music and dancing, Mykos provides a fun night out for any celebration. I'm excited to return again!

While a bit over-priced compared to the portions, the service, atmosphere and food was 5-Star. Not being an expert at Eastern Med food, I can't speak for it's authenticity, but my wife Masuka and beet salad were awesome, and I enjoyed my 2 appi's (Fluke and Octopus) and my roasted chicken was very flavorful. These are unique tastes, and well prepared and presented. My only hesitation regarding the 5-stars is the price -- which seems a bit much.

First impression walking in, the place is beatifully decorated. It is tasteful and elegant yet inviting and family friendly. My first stop was to the restroom and I gotta say, the place looked spotless which gives you a sense of confidence in the cleanliness of the environment. I also noticed that it is a very large and open space which would be a perfect venue to celebrate any occasion as a big group. When I walked in I noticed that it was a lively and warm ambiace tha makes you feel comfortable to be there. The food: The food was great! Very tasty and fresh. I had the big boy burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was delicious and tho I knew it included jalapeños, I was surprised at how spicy it was. When I looked, it had big pieces of jalapeños w some seeds. No wonder it was too hot, not the jar jalapeños. I took some of it out and enjoyed the whole thing. I didn't finish my fries because they were soggy. No crunch at all. My date on the other hand, ordered a churrasco with yuca fries. The bartender messed up his order and brought him what is called "Portuguesa Churrascaria" which includes grilled skirt steak, pork chop, chicken, and chorizo with moro rice and sweet plantains. Tho it was not what he ordered, he was glad they served him that. It was delicious. It was nicely seasoned, nicely plated and overall very satisfying. Big serving! The yuca fries was dissapointing as I was expecting more of the typical latin crunchy yuca fries where it is first boiled and then fried. This was more like yuca puree, breaded and fried...think mozzarella sticks. Overall this place is worth visiting. Bring your date, bring your friends, bring yo mama, bring your kids, impress your clients...whatever! just visit, you wont regret it. Staff, very friendly and attentive and Plenty of free parking outside!
