My daughter got married on August 31st 2018. I was truly disappointed with the service we had. First of all the day of the wedding I had to send my daughter the bride in an Uber to get to Jericho terrace, The driver picked up the groomsmen around 4:10 p.m. he dropped the guys off and had to return to Jericho terrace it took him over 40 minutes to get back to Westbury now I am very understanding when it comes time to traffic etc. but he took local roads. At 5:00 p.m. when the driver did not return I had to send my daughter the Bride in a uber with three of the bridesmaids to get there on time. Finally the driver came back and me the mother of the bride and the other bridesmaids got into the limo, I told the driver specifically after you drop us off I need you to return to the hotel and pick up any other guests that might be there and that did not get on the hotel shuttle bus, please call me when you get there he even had my cell number he quoted it back to me. Well I never received a phone call that he arrived back at the hotel to check if I had any other guests waiting my family was there waiting until 5:45 p.m and he still did not return or call me. At the end of the night he was waiting for us and proceeds to tell me the limo we paid for was in an accident and we only have SUV, that was a little upsetting that there are no other limos available, I told him to take 4 of the guest back to the hotel first because we were still packing up and not ready to leave, he left with the guests and never came back nor did he call me to see if we needed more rides, my daughter the bride and a few bridesmaid had to take an Uber back to the hotel because the shuttle bus did not have enough room. Thank god we did have the shuttle bus or over 20 people would of been stranded. We paid for a total of five hours of limo service and if we had that limo or SUV an entire 1.5 hrs that is a lot which I know we did not have the limo even that long. I cannot believe we paid $600 plus for a service that did not deliver and the driver never once called me to confirm pick ups or drop offs and to see if I needed anything else, It was not my responsibility on such a hectic day to chase him down. 5-15-19 This is our second time using Four star limos and I can not express how professional and attentive they are. Joe was a pleasure to work with to set up my trip to the airport. And Steve our driver was again so helpful and even showed up early. It made the start of the trip les stressful. It's hard to find good people who care about their clients sometimes. With Four star they treat you like family. Will be using them again Past review: Great limo service company. I used them for our vacation with the family. We were a group of 7. We were able to get to the airport on time with 2 babies at 4am. It was so convenient to be dropped off at the terminal and check our bags in by the curb. That is something we couldn't do if we drove ourselves to long term parking, then take the air train to the terminal with all the bags and the kids. On our return back- they were waiting outside the terminal ready to pick us up. The driver even called and texted before we landed so we knew he was there with no worries. They were also able to accommodate a car seat for us too. Any mom and dad who is looking to making tracing with kids easier- use Joe our representative from this company. He is so helpful and prompt. We hired Four Star Limos for our wedding after a friend had hired them for my bachelorette party. The prices are significantly better than the competition, and both times that we used their limo it was spotlessly clean, on time (earlier, even!), and the drivers were incredibly nice as well as professional (Joe was our driver for the bachelorette party, Jimmy drove us for the wedding). Although Joe was extremely punctual and sweet to us all night, I have to focus this review on Jimmy because he WOWED us. When we left our wedding, nearly an hour later than we expected, he was still patiently waiting for us right outside the door with a congratulatory smile on his face. As we finished packing the car, we realized we had lost something and he spent time helping us find it! When we finally found it, we asked if it'd be okay for us to walk (my preference) to the location next door for a few "selfies" in front of the pretty ferris wheel; he said yes and that he'd meet us there. When he arrived, he got out of the car and offered to take photos for us... then he even knelt down ON THE STREET to get a better angle because the landmark was so tall! We were so impressed, and the photos were stunning. Finally, as though this wasn't enough, he brought us to the hotel, helped us unpack everything (there was a LOT), and escorted us inside safely. Minutes after he'd left, he came back... he explained that we'd accidentally tipped him twice! We were blown away by his honesty, as we truly weren't in a position to be without the tips that were meant for someone else. He could've driven away with the cash and never seen us again... but he came back. I don't even know what else to say about that. Excellent! I recently arranged a car for a pickup at a wedding venue to LGA. It was critical my guest get to the airport on time. Four Star delivered, and at a reasonable price. Gerald, the driver, was there early and got to LGA in plenty of time, while taking shortcuts to avoid heavy Sunday night traffic. My guest was pleased with his efficiency and knowledge of the roads. I will definitely use them again with confidence. One last (important) thing. When I put out a request through Yelp to several limo companies for quotes, Joann got back to me within a couple of hours. The other 3 or 4? Nothing. That speaks volumes to me. read more

Used Four Star after my original ride to the airport screwed me. A few days before my trip the original vendor contacted me to say he needed to raise my cost by 50%. Out of principal I was not going to pay it. I immediately went to yelp looking for a local limo company and found Four Star. Can't say enough nice things about them. They were courteous, professional and prompt. The stretch they sent for us was immaculately clean. Jim (the driver) was an absolute pleasure even at 5:30 AM, when he picked us up. Even more impressive was that when I contacted Jim to let him know we were returning early, he already had tracked our flight and was at JFK waiting for us. Unprofessional, unreliable company & service!! They sent a limo for 9 passengers & a truck to follow with our luggage & one wheelchair to JFK. On our return flight, imagine our surprise when we're told there's only one limo there to pick us up & the owner says we have to figure out what we want to do with the luggage because he only has the limo. You knew how to get us there but you basically left us stranded at JFK. For a company like this to be in business is repulsive! Thank God for uber!!! In response to Joseph P.'s comment I would like to say it just goes to show how unprofessional this company is. We were advised that there would be a vehicle to take our luggage home with us when we arrived home, but when we arrived the driver advised us that they had trouble with the 2nd car and we had to make due with what we were given. The driver had advised us that he was told they did not have another car and we had to figure it out. When the services were booked we specifically stated the amount of people and bags we had. We were told that he has been in business for years and knows what he is doing and he will have room for everything. Not to mention that it states on the website that he specializes in airport runs.... A courtesy call would have been appreciated instead of having to deal with this headache when we landed. It was not about being entitled at all, just expecting what we were paying for. I guess we should have just left the luggage at the airport. read more

We only had four people to go in the limo but they were nice enough to send us a bigger car since that was the only one available. The limo arrived on time and was very clean and in great condition.
