Our hot water heater died and it was still under warranty. I called the plumber that sold and installed it originally. I was told he could not find the same heater and referred me to another plumber who works with warranty replacements. I called them and they said they were backed up for a least a few weeks and referred me to the manufacture. I called them and they referred me to a wholesaler in my area that had the heater and I called the original plumber back to say I found the heater and he said he couldn't get to me for a week. I made a few more calls and finally found Four Star Plumbing. My overall experience was Amazing! Kelly was extremely helpful and worked her magic and got the guys out to me within a couple hours. I had hot water within 4 hours of my first contact with them. The guys were very efficient and helpful. It was so refreshing to find a company who was willing to help me even if it may of been some extra work for them due to the warranty component. I feel like the other companies I called just did not want to be bothered with the warranty replacement part. I now have a plumber I can trust and count on. I will be referring them whenever I can. We give Four Star Plumbing 5 Stars. We could not turn our cold faucet on and we called for service. Joe Rosales, owner of Power Source, referred us. We were please that the office said they could send someone out today. Manny was at our house within 2 hours to start work. He was very knowledgeable and explained what he needed to do. The work was completed to our satisfaction. Manny also gave us tips on how to avoid the faucets sticking and he cleaned up the area. Very professional and we highly recommend this company. read more

Stay away! Arrogant owner, Kelly. Awful Customer service. Michelle their front office is nice and professional, but Kelly, the owner, is rude, arrogant and unpleasant. Requested service to change the drain traps and replace garbage disposal. Every single part and service recommended by their technician to be replaced was approved by me and was done. They overcharged their time, but that was not the issue. I did not argue. I bit the bullet and wrote the check. But as soon as I started using the sink the same day after they left, my sink started to have a blockage in the line which backed up in both sinks when I run the water for just 2 minutes. Called back to get it corrected and looked at. The owner said it could have not been caused by the service and did not want to own it that they should have made sure it was clear before they left. Told the owner I would have approved the additional work if it was caught by their technician just like I approved all the other items they recommended. Instead of working something out to get the problem solved, she hung up on me. I started with two sinks not working and $650 later, the sinks are still not working. The way they handled the issue is awful. They didn't make any attempts to fix the situation unless I pay for a new service. Instead she got extremely offended for calling it BS. Their customer service is horrible and apparently so is their work ethics!!! read more

I got lucky today. My garbage disposal drain got clogged just as my next door neighbor was saying good bye to Rob from Four Start Plumbing. I quickly asked him if he could come and take a look. He did and my sink was unclogged in less than 10 minutes. Best of all, he charged me next to nothing. This was not the first time Rob has been to my house. Our water heater died on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Having a Fidelity National home warranty, we filed a claim and Fidelity was great in getting a company right out the same day. Unfortunately, the existing water heater was installed improperly (with venting and other issues), and that vendor wasn't equipped to handle. Long story, short - fast forward to Wednesday, we still didn't have hot water and Fidelity National "cashed us out" to find ourselves a plumber. I called Four Star, and within a couple of hours, I lucked into having Robert, the owner, out to inspect the situation and craft multiple options for replacing the water heater. The next morning, Manny, one of their tech's was out and spent much of the day re-plumbing the spaghetti mess of water lines around the old water heater and installing our new water heater. We were more than satisfied with Four Star. Their staff from Helene, on their service desk, Robert, the owner, and Manny and Corey the tech's that worked on our water heater; they were friendly, knowledgeable, and cared about getting our hot water back on. read more

They came in and the diagnosis given was not correct (I hired another plumber for a second opinion). I just felt something was not right. They wanted too much to do the repairs. I ended up saving a lot of money by getting a second opinion. BEWARE.....they add items to the invoice they apparently did , but actually didn't do during the inspection. Won't be calling Four Star Plumbing again. The heating element in our water heater failed. It was still under warranty by the manufacturer. The plumber said they would charge us $125 to install the warranty replacement part, or $285 if they used their part. We contacted the manufacturer to get the replacement part, but it couldn't be sourced locally. They offered to send it out overnight. We asked the plumber if he would use his part to replace the element today, and then accept a return of the OEM part from the manufacturer and refund the cost of the part tomorrow. He refused, putting us in the position of choosing: 1. Pay full pop for the labor and part now. 2. Pay for the service call of $49, which WOULD NOT BE APPLICABLE TO THE REPAIR, and then pay $125 in labor to install the warranty part after the part arrived (and be stuck without hot water for 2 days). Because we couldn't go without hot water for 2 days, we opted to do the repair, which took him less than 15 minutes. What made this even more disappointing is that we hired them to do a lot of work on our house on a couple of prior occasions (and those times, the owner himself did the work). Now that they've grown, there's no personal attention, no concern about trying to keep a repeat customer. What ever happened to customer service? read more

I would give zero stars if possible. I was referred to this company by Triton who probably won't be sending many more clients to them after my experience. So I needed a water line run from my laundry room to my attic for a whole house humidifier I purchased from Triton. I called and told them what I needed done and they said just a rough estimate it would be around $500-$600. Now when you get estimate you think ok well it will be five or take $200-$300 dollars more or so. They came out took a look at my neighborhood and probably thought to themselves hmm we can try to overcharge these people. They quoted me $2400 for the job they also informed me they don't patch the holes!! For a simple water line they also wanted to run it through a cabinet which would be ruined. On top of that they charged me $130 to come out and tell me they wanted to rip me off. I found a plumber to do the work for a $700, did not destroy my cabinet, and meticulously painted and patched the wall where he ran the line. read more

Horrible horrible horrible!! Plumber couldn't even accurately diagnosis the problem. We took his advice and replaced our toilet ($450 later) and it wasn't even the plumbing problem. DO NOT USE!!! And don't trust Four Stars comments to my review. They are liars, and I can prove they came to my house and that it was NOT my toilet that was leaking through my ceiling!!! I have been a homeowner for 50 years and this has been the best experience I have had with a plumbing contractor. The following were replaced: 3 angle stops, hot & cold shut-off valves, dishwasher supply lines, garbage disposal, trap drain pipes, outside hose bib, gas cooktop shut-off valve, sewer line cleaned out and 50 gallon water heater. Also removed small portion of a wall and repaired a leaking 3 inch drain pipe. All materials used were of high quality. The work and installation was of the highest standard. This is a great service. They go the extra mile Helene the operator was very caring patient and worked extra to get the plumber in after hours. My house was flooding after a bathroom remodel and it was scary. I called the AHS Warrenty Plummer he came in and could not or maybe "did not " want to do anything and still charged my card. Four Star pluming was my second call. Mani the Plumer came in was very professional and spent over 3 hours to get to the "root of the problem" he cleaned after he was done and was very detailed he took pictures and filed a report to the home owner association to prevent this from happening again. He even gave me free advise on the water filter. The next day when my toilet was not flushing Helene on a late Friday night picked up the phone and promised to send the plumer free of charge. I highly recommend this company and will use them in the future despite having paid an annual fee for the useless service with American Home Shied. read more

What a great job by Angel in getting our updated kitchen connected. We have used Four Star before and have always been impressed with their professionalism and great quality work. Angel was right on time. We had two sinks, two disposals, two faucets to be connected, a dishwasher that had to be installed and more. Angel did it all. There were some challenges with the faucet installations but Angel worked through the issues so that we have two perfectly functioning faucets. Our HOA uses Four Star Plumbing....and thank god they do. We had two major issues in a two week period with an old cast iron pipe that had cracked behind the drywall in our master bathroom, and then an outside check valve failed and was causing a back-up in our 2nd bathroom tub and toilet. Let me say that this is the most professional, courteous, on-time, team of plumbers that I have ever encountered. We were quoted $750 NOT including any hardware to replace the entire thing. And, then the price continued to go up....I started to get upset. My gut told me we were getting ripped off. I called another plumber that my neighbor recommended. They were here the next morning and replaced the valve, the shower head and the spout... ALL FOR $200! And, working like a charm! read more

I called in a panic when my kitchen sink was leaking. The girl who answered the call was very sweet and couldn't be more helpful. She said they could get someone out as soon as possible (of course it was 4:30 and they were closing soon). She said to be on the lookout for an email which would show a pic of the person who'd be out to take care of my leaky sink. Before I even had a chance to check my email Robert was at my front door ready and wiling to help me. He fixed my sink and was able to change out my disposal at the same time.
