There's not a whole lot of options in this terminal and luckily this turned out to a pretty tasty option. The bartender was a jolly guy who was having a good time, making jokes and going a little above and beyond. Small menu but solid. We split the meat lover's pizza. Depending how hungry you are, 1 order per person. I was filling up with delicious beer so the size was fine by me to share it. His friend chomped down on a burger and fries, no complaints there. Great beer listed with a handful of locals pointed out. Lots of different seating options- at the bar, at a booth, tall top tables with some under a skylight. There are several TV's positioned throughout for easy viewing.

The Michigan Tap Room is inside Gerald R. Ford International Airport - post TSA security checkpoint - on Concourse B. Stopped in here for lunch before boarding my flight back to Washington Dulles. I sat at the bar and ordered a bowl of their Chili. The Chili was very good! Hearty and tasty! Hit the spot! Service was good! #MichiganTapRoom #GRR

Insanely expensive drinks AND I had to listen to the bar staff botch about coworker drama. Not a pleasant experience at all!

I asked the server if new pizzas would be made and they were that was nice. Tammy was my server, I liked her. The salad bar was typical and quite tasty. Here is the 2 star part...I got so sick a few hours later. Sick enough to vow to never subject myself to this establishment again. This was definitely a result of the food by the type of sickness. I wasn't impressed by the pizza it tasted like a frozen pizza. To each their own I guess.

We wanted to watch the playoff games that were happening that night and thought a sports bar would be a good choice for doing so. There were tons of TVs and the place seemed a little empty, but that could be due to weather. We had already eaten a delicious dinner and weren't really hungry but were down for a nightcap. We sat at the bar, the place was not busy for a Saturday night. We needed a waitress to get the bartender to even talk to us and take our orders, as our attempts at waving him down failed. When I tried to order an espresso martini, he said, "We don't have espresso but I could make you a coffee martini, but please don't make me go and make coffee for you". I've been on the receiving end of late night orders that cause you to dirty up appliances you have shut down for the night, but this order was at 9:30 pm and they closed at midnight. I decided not to order it since he stated he didn't want to make it for me and decided on a mocktail since my choice of cocktail was vetoed. I understand his response if it was close to closing time and I also wouldn't have ordered that close to closing time. I ended up getting a mocktail called the "Midwest Fog" and it was unique and tasted good but my partner and I were taken aback and annoyed over our encounter and treatment.

We asked if they could turn the Brewers game on one tv and they were kind enough to try but couldn't get it over the channels they had. Service was pretty fast and we left satisfied. They do charge for every little add on be it pizza topping, dipping sauce, sour cream, etc. most add-on prices ranged from $1.25-$2 each so if you aren't careful things will add up fast. Only thing we disliked was how small the highboy table was. We had little space for dirty dishes and the papers advertising drinks/specials. Parking was kind of tough to find because the lot they have was super small. We had to circle the block a few times to find street parking.

The concept was a pleasant surprise, it has more of a sports bar atmosphere than a traditional Italian restaurant, but they still offer a solid selection of pastas, pizzas, subs, and other comfort food favorites. They also have a full bar, making it a great place to catch a game. We started with the pepperoni rolls, and they were easily the highlight of the meal. The garlic butter and Parmesan on top made them absolutely irresistible, definitely a 10/10 appetizer. For my entrée, I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. The chicken was well-seasoned and had a nice crispy exterior that added some texture to the dish. The Alfredo itself was good, but fairly standard and nothing particularly memorable. The garlic bread was also solid and complemented the meal well. While this isn't the best Italian food I've ever had, it was satisfying, reasonably enjoyable, and exactly what I was looking for that evening. I'd happily come back, especially for the lively sports bar atmosphere and those pepperoni rolls.

I'd had the salmon dinner a few times before. The fresh open water flat type, with the fleshy pink scales. Grilled to perfection. We visited not long after they went live in 2021. It was busy inside and the service was understandably slow. I got the "Homemade Chili", which was apparently made in a condemned home because it was barely room-temperature. I sent it back and had to press my case to get that bacterial culture of a dish taken off the bill. My "Garage Burger" had a bun that was so stale, it clanked when I hit it against my plate. My beleaguered waitress stared at me when I did this and asked, comically, "do you want a new bun?" Why yes, yes I do - preferably one that can't be sharpened into a prison shank, my dear. As the volume in the place progressively increased, I watched another family with younger kids struggle with similar food issues. The dad at that table looked at me knowingly with something akin to PTSD in his eyes and then he abruptly plunked down some cash and gathered his family up and walked out. I paid with a credit card, so it took me a bit longer, but we all left without finishing our meals. I'm not going to say that the food here is a crime against humanity, but I'm going to think it really hard.
