    Smoking fruity spicy drink

Finally came out to The Dungeon after its revamp. It looks great and has a fun drink menu. Perfect place to catch up on conversations with friends and has a vegan friendly menu, though we opted for a meaty chip dip that was tasty. Our waitress was great and provided excellent recommendations based on our tastes. My favorite drink we tried was the gin spritzer with some peppercorns. The classic mojito was also tasty and my friend liked her drink as well. Prices are comparable to what you'd pay at a GR cocktail spot. The good news is free parking, you don't have to hunt for or pay for a spot like when you're downtown. Above The Dungeon is an event space that can be rented out. Overall, a great experience and we're happy to have an upscale place like this near our town.

This dungeon is less about whips and chains and more about red velvet, candle lighting, and a fantastic happy hour menu. Visit Manoj's fever dream play land and descend the stairs to a level of subdued lighting and relaxation that's sure to round off the sharp edges of your hard work day. The happy hour menu is modest, but the offerings are tastier than typical happy hour food. The sliders are delicious. You actually get a tiny, fully decked out cheeseburger with a thick enough patty that you can actually see the medium (slightly pink in the center) grilling and toppings you can identify and taste. The empanadas are just as great, with a buttery crust and plump with tasty filling. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable. Sidle up to the counter or snag a cozy table.

    My fun drink Drew made.

Cool atmosphere, no windows close to dark dining. I loved the velvet furniture. I sat at the bar and Drew was the bartender and absolutely tremendous. He made a special cocktail based upon what taste I was going for. The food was served hot, I had a burger but dining at a dungeon I should have explored more. The burger was ok not bad not great just ok. I would go back and try something different but not the burger.

Very excited to have the opportunity to check out this place! I knew going into it that they're new and still adjusting and had low expectations. For starters the inside is a really cool space! I love what they've done and found myself walking around and just looking at everything. We didn't have any trouble getting seated and found ourselves at a table with velvet chairs. Most of the tables had lights and the one at our table was dead and I brought it to the server's attention but she wasn't able to replace it or get us a different one unfortunately. It took about 15 mins for someone to say hello and another 15 mins before getting water. Most of the staff seemed very stressed. Once she got our drink order we waited for a very long time for our server to return and let us know that what my boyfriend ordered was out of stock. What she mentioned was not what he ordered and she wasn't able relieved and acknowledged her mistake and got our drinks. We were able to order some food at this point and with all the waiting time we knew exactly what we wanted. I asked our server about the burger and pasta and she was not convincing us to get it which is why we picked three appetizers that would be a safe bet. We tried the whitefish dip, the chicken tenders, and the patatas bravas. To be honest the food came out within a good time and all of it was delicious! We could have used more crackers for our whitefish dip but the flavor was awesome. The chicken tenders were good and they gave us all the sauces to try. The patatas bravas were good too! Can't go wrong with a potato dish. Our server asked if we wanted another drink and my bf ordered one but it never came. After a half hour she came by and we asked for our bill and said "please don't put the second drink on there since we never received it" and she had to get her manager to approve this. She brought back our bill and it was still wrong with another drink we didn't order and we had her correct that too. I want to say overall this place has great potential. I do think our experience was this way because they're new and figuring it all out and don't want to have anyone not try this place because of our experience. Hopefully after a few more weeks they will get their groove going. Even though it took a long amount of time for everything we did enjoy our food and drinks and our server was kind the entire time. Maybe will visit again in a month and reassess this review.

Short rib manicotti and pork chop

We were invited out to try the new spring menu and I was really impressed with the service and ambience as well as menu. The vibe is swanky and different than other places in the area. I appreciated the extensive cocktail menu with lots of options for all tastes and my espresso martini was very smooth. I had the short rib manicotti which was cheesy, rich, and balanced with the sauce and asparagus. My husband tried the pork chop and it was huge! The pork was cooked well and the topping was tangy, mashed potatoes were clearly homemade and delicious. We will absolutely be back to try more!

Great service, nice cocktails and tasty food. You won't find a wet burrito, but you will find a great selection of Mezcal and Tequila cocktails and a variety of gastro-pub foods.

Great experience, attentive staff but didn't bug us, food was delicious. Love the atmosphere.

We should have asked the hostess to seat is at a different table. Its super uncomfortable to sit at a teeny tiny table in the middle of a walking area where the server bangs into you every time they walk by.. the plates were gigantic presenting delicious stewed beef dinner. Hard to enjoy when the Server put both appetizers and meal in at the same time, so our miniature table was heavy with servings. I think the food is delicious here. For my first time visiting it surprised me how busy the place was flooding with people. Someone at a nearby table was having a loud video call. Decor and atmosphere is cool where you are placed in the dungeon of a hidden London bloak pubbish. People vibe kinda like your typical Grandville trad wives and husbands. The servers and bartender do not fit, they are 100% hipsters. I wish my experience wasn't so overshadowed by complexity and chaos. Grandville folks are unwilling to change. Not your fault.

I had to try the elote deviled eggs, which was a combo I had never considered but I'm so glad someone did! I also got the truffle mac and cheese and a house salad. Both were excellent! I was alone sitting at the bar trying to figure out which beer I wanted to try. The lady didn't ask what type of beers I like or offer any suggestions. I drank the cranberry seltzer, which was OK. Had a nice flavor and I felt like I was drinking Ocean Spray Cranberry juice. I will say the man who came on around 5 or 6 was super nice and attentive, but by that time I had given up and was planning my exit. 3. Employee Conversation-I overheard the employees talking about a large group who frequented the bar. I felt the employees were speaking a bit negatively about the group. I wish they had known there audience b/c I was part of that group. 4. Food-You have to order at the bar, which is cool. I can not speak to the food, b/c I didn't order any. Rather than listen to the employees talk about people who spend money in their establishment I went to Culvers down the street where they may talk about me but at least I don't know it. 5. The menu does not match what is on line. Prior to going there I looked at their on line menu and what I saw online did not match onsite. Perhaps if the bartender had been more invtiting I may have been more inclined to ask questions, but she didn't seem very interested in talking with me. Online they talk about doing a cool partnership with the funeral home to raise money for a cool veteran fund, I would have gotten that if I had felt more comfortable asking questions. 6.-Overall my experience was meh. I am sticking with my three stars. This is just my experience, I am all about supporting local businesses. I overheard the owner or manager telling someone they have a property in South Haven. South Haven has a piece of my heart as do local breweries. I hope I caught the place on a bad day and I hope more the SH establishement has friendlier staff.
