Courteous, friendly and efficient. I like that an appointment is not necessary for lube, oil, filter.

Like politicians once they get your vote. You mean nothing. I purchased my second Mercedes in 12 months just two days ago. The first Mercedes was brand new. Betten Imports were insistent that they would provide excellent service. We HATED the car, but my/our grandson loved it, so we sold it to him for the price of a Ford mini-truck we had our eyes on. He needed some assistance resetting the Mercedes app on his phone, but we had called Betten Imports and told them about the transfer of ownership. "Send him in!" they responded. They wouldn't help him. The service department wouldn't even talk to him, questioning his ownership even though he had the paperwork in hand. Last week we saw a small car we liked, and decided to give them the benefit of the doubt on a 2022 car. Just off lease, it had a couple of issues. They couldn't find the second key for the car, and the salesman Dan E. said he would make sure it was taken care of by contacting Chris in the Service department. There were two missing covers in the back seat, and he said that would be taken care of as well. (NOT) Forward to Saturday morning, and the key issue was dismissed with the instructions to contact Chris on Monday and it would be taken care of. We had the same conversation with the financial officer while finalizing the paperwork. He said if we had any issues to let him know. Monday morning I called Service and explained the issue. He responded with a lot of double talk, and said he would call back. He called back, said he spoke to the salesman and they decided not to cover the key, and he would order a new one for $990.00. Maybe they only cheat senior citizens. I'm 71 and my husband is over 80. Don't go there if you value good service and an honorable staff.

Not sure who checked it but my car has completely stopped working two times in less than a year. Transmission shot, brake issues, engine issues. I'm so disappointed. None of this was on the carfax or any warnings on the car. The Kia dealer in Kalamazoo were shocked the car was sold to me in this condition and were completely confused why the service lights never came on. Also, once you buy a car, communication is at absolute zero when you leave in your new car. I reached out several times for questions and concerns and NEVER heard back. Jay, the financial administrator, do not expect ANYTHING besides too much talking about up charging you for everything. I had several questions regarding the loan after and he refused to communicate back. Disappointed and will not be buying Kia again. I'm already having to sell my car I've had less than a year.

Here is the quote directly from the Fox Kia website " For most quick services, you can take advantage of our Express Service Lanes, which do not require an appointment." Anyway, I decided I would make an appointment this time around. I went to the website chose 'Any Advisor' for a quick oil change and there were no times available to choose. I searched every 2 weeks for more than 1 YEAR out (through July 2027) and there were still no available appointments. Thankfully I was able to use there AI agent on the site to get an appointment, but the whole experience is a HUGE pain!!

I never thought I'd need to make it clear to a company that it's not okay to tell young children…read morewho have been riding around with no heat in 8-degree weather that they are "definitely" getting a car unless you can actually deliver. I was rushed to provide a down payment and start a new insurance policy that day because it was "a done deal." In fact, they were so confident the deal was done that they let me take the car to pick up my children so they could finally have heat - specifically telling me that since I "already had insurance on it," I might as well. What followed that handshake and congratulations was a two-day saga of moving goalposts. After three 80-minute round trips in inclement weather, the tone shifted to condescension regarding my company's financials - as if they were doing me a "favor" by selling me a car. This was after being lightheartedly told the evening prior, "as long as the pay deposits are on your bank statement, you're good." I get that this is partially the bank's doing - but if you don't know your lenders that well you certainly shouldn't be making promises where it concerns them. The lack of respect for a customer's time was staggering. I was pressured to provide more paperwork (including more proof of my VA disability - despite having my award letter) while they knew I had to transport my kids back and forth to school, and in fact also do parenting things - only to be told at the last second they were closing two hours earlier than the day prior. When I realized I wasn't going to meet their shifting deadline, I texted to let them know I was driving another 40 minutes to drop the car off to relieve the pressure and rethink the deal until the morning. When I arrived, instead of a professional return, the finance guy tried to move the goalposts yet again with more requirements. When I finally called it quits, the gaslighting began. I was transparent about a clerical error on a proof-of-income document generated by my own company - an error that did not change the actual income reported on my application or my ability to prove it through bank statements. Knowing how openly embarrassed I was about the mistake the day before, the finance guy loudly accused me of submitting a "fake" document to justify the deal falling apart. The logic doesn't hold up: Why is he letting a customer drive a car off the lot to pick up their children if he truly suspects a document is malicious or "fake?" By weaponizing a transparent mistake at the finish line, they were simply trying to shift the blame for a deal they couldn't close. When I walked away, they blamed me for their failure and refused to refund my down payment on the spot, insisting on "mailing a check and maybe getting it refunded to my card." On a separate note, my company deals in email security. As I do with any company I share PII and financial information with, I did a scan of their sending domain to find that it is critically unsecured. That, combined with the fact that they condone using personal Gmail accounts for professional correspondence and documentation sharing, raises serious security issues. I chose to overlook these for the promise of a good car-buying experience, but I feel others should be able to make that decision from the same position of knowledge. It seems like this is not the status quo at Berger. I can respect that this isn't peoples' normal experience, but it feels pretty uncalled for that it even happened once. I can also understand how if others have been a victim of this type of degradation, pride may prevent them from speaking of it publicly. It certainly isn't a comfortable experience for me. P.S. Shout out to my sales guy whose name I don't want to associate with this review. Top notch, 5/5 stars. You deserved the commission - thanks for everything.

I parked the car in the parking lot of my apartment building rather than in my garage. When I opened the garage door, there were large drops of oil leading to a large puddle. I checked my oil in the morning and there was no oil on the dipstick. I noticed fresh oil around the top of the oil filter. I called Fox Ford, and talked to Mitch. I told him about the situation and after checking with the manager, he came on and told me they would send someone out to look at it, assess it, and then add oil so I could drive it to the shop. About 20 minutes later two guys showed up, checked the oil filter, and there was no gasket on it. They replaced the oil filter, added oil, and then one of the guys drove it to the shop. Chris, a manager, called me later and apologized profusely. He said they did another complete oil change and cleaned it all off. He apologized again and told me he was giving me a coupon for a free complete oil change and tire rotation. The two guys then brought the car back to me. They brought some disposable pads and a cleaner and cleaned up my garage floor and the pavement in the parking lot. Now THAT'S customer service! I was so impressed. I don't fault them at all for the mishap. Things happen. It's more about how a business handles it once they find out about the situation and Fox Ford gets an A+!
