We were in town for a conference. We came over for some late night drinks after the Hyatt bar closed. Everything was wonderful. We can't recall the beautiful bartender's name but she was very nice and even complimented me on my outfit. She had long dark hair with a ponytail. Josh was our server while we were playing darts and quite attentive. Everyone was positive and really seemed to care about our experience. They have have darts, pool, shuffle boards, and some other games. I highly recommend this place. We live west of Fort Worth so it's a long drive, but I plan to return to the the Hyatt here and return to the Fox and Hound. read more

I really don't think this is too much of an English Pub at all, but it is definitely a place for boozing. So, at least that part they got right. The place is divided up into three sections, a main area in the middle with the bar, and a wing on each side that has tables, a whole slew of TVs, and pool tables. It gets busy even on weeknights, with lots of drunken Texas running around, which can be quite entertaining. What's with having to show my ID at the door and fill out a little card with my information on it? Something to do with the way the county handles liquor at certain establishments is what I heard, but I'm still a bit confused about this. Feels a bit like Big Brother. Anyways, there's lots of beers to choose from, plus an assortment of cocktails. The food is decent, kind of standard bar food that you'd get at comparable places. If you have a short attention span then this is a good place, as the wall of TVs has half a dozen different channels up, with everything from current sporting events to those random snowboarding and skating videos. The servers are cool, and running around bringing drinks to the masses quite quickly. But the one random Hapa server I was introduced to looked at me like I was the Creature from the Black Lagoon or something. Hey lady, I didn't even want to meet you, one of the people from work wanted me to meet you! Guess stuck up people just don't reside in CA. Came here after work with a coworker to relieve some stress. The servers and manager were very nice and inviting, always asked if we needed anything and if there was anything we needed. We were never forgotten. This is your English pub on steroids. Pool tables, darts, jenga, ping pong and lots of open space and tables for big parties. There are a lot of televisions surrounding the area so I assume this is a great place to watch sports with your buddies. We had the loaded tots, some burger and waffle ice cream sandwich. They were okay, not great. Edible though so that's all that matters. Won't be coming here for food, probably just quick drinks after work and fun. read more

I visited Texas and I really enjoyed this spot to watch the Football games. They have plenty of dart boards, pool tables, and games to keep you busy during half time. I would definitely recommend if you are going to catch up on the football games. read more

Landed up at this place since it was past 10 and eateries in the locality had closed and I didn't want to eat fast food.. Place is loud as one would expect, there was no Vomit smell like some people complained.. Took more than 10 minutes for the waitress to take my order.. Ordered "Stacked" from the burger, food didn't disappoint - presentation as well as taste were good.. One person took my order, another served and a third person brought my cheque - seemed as if I am an unwanted guest, probably because I don't drink!! Absolutely worst service I've had in a long time. Planned a going away for a co-worker and thought this could be a fun place. Had a group of 15 professionals certainly ready to spend money and have a good time. What a huge disappointment. We had a waitress if you want to call her that. I couldn't tell you her name because she never introduced herself. We had to basically instruct her on her job. I told her upfront people would be eating. She never brought water we had to ask. We literally had to chase her around to get another drink or to order food. I won't ever go there and certainly won't host an event. I asked attendees how was the food and most said it was okay. We found this place on Yelp and the menu looked good so we drove over for some food. We entered the restaurant and nobody was at the host stand so we seated ourselves. The tables were all dirty so we sat at the least dirty one we could find. After sitting at the table for several minutes, we noticed what appeared to be employees walking around but none acknowledged us. I went to the host stand when I noticed others there to ask if this was a "seat yourself" place or if we violated protocol by finding our own seat. The people at the host stand were other patrons who were wondering the same thing. Finally an employee came up and we asked her. She said you seat yourself. So I walked back to our group and we waited. After a few more minutes we decided to leave. The best thing about our visit was the fact we felt unwelcome and decided to leave. I am a KC Chiefs die hard fan. We reserved several tables and had April as our server. She was fantastic!! We weren't easy on her, but she handled us like a pro. All of our food and drinks were timely and we never had to look for her or ask twice. Great service, great attitude, and great experience! Get the huge nachos and dinner chicken tenders with tots! Garlic butter sauce for the chicken is amazing! I could put it on anything and I would eat it! The chicken comes with 5 tenders and huge portion of tots! The nachos are enough for 2-4 ppl to share! So Huge! Great service! Non smoking section is better than the alternative. I would come back! Don't know if I'd call it an English Pub and Grill. Fish and chips are the only English dish I can recall seeing on the menu. It's more sports bar to me, burgers, wings, pizza, salads. and lots of beer to choose from. The food is OK, not consistently good or bad. The burgers and appetizer sampler plate are usually good. Service is about the same as the food, inconsistent. The restaurant is nice. Lots of TVs , pool tables, and darts. A good place to have fun With the exception to the objectionable odor of vomit and smoke when you first enter, the restaurant is pretty clean. The ladies room is clean but needs work. Toilet seats and paper dispensers are hanging on by a thread. There are always flowers in the restroom, but they are floating in moldy water. I find that strange. It's been like this for years. As I reread, I'm thinking, people must wonder why we continue to go. Our alumni club meets here for ball games. So we've been going several times a year for years. We love this place, we come here regularly with friends . The last time we came we were disappointed the service was so slow plus our server was always in a hurry and not attentive at all, we ordered whiskey on the rocks but she brought out whiskey on shot. Decent service, rarely crowded when I go, and there are a lot of things to do such as pool, darts, basketball, and a few arcade style games. Drinks aren't a bad price and the foods pretty good, similar to TGIF's - excellent for a bar, honestly. The problem is the manager, she accused my friend of having a fake id when she is 23. She was super rude about it & not professional @ all & told us she needed to leave by 10. I know she only scanned her id one time because our waitress scanned it again & it came up under the right name. The manager never came to apologize when she was clearly in the wrong & was rude for no reason. I stopped by Fox and Hound after work last night with a coworker and had a great time. I like that they have a lot of TV's showing all the games and music videos. Morgan and Delanie were really friendly and attentive behind the bar. We never had to wait for a drink. The classic buffalo wings were also really good. We'll definitely be returning. First off...shoutouts to my servers Ricardo and Jenna D!!! The service here is impeccable! I love the atmosphere. Plenty of space, clean, casual. I like to watch my football games here. So because of these particulars this establishment gets 4 stars instead of 3. The first time I was here they ran out of Bloody Mary mix so I switched to beer. Then they ran out of Coke. I opted for the Dr. Pepper instead which I didn't get charged for. That was nice! I've had their wings which are good. They have different flavors. I've tried the Classic Buffalo and the Garlic Parmesan. The Guinness onion soup is good. I've also tried the California Club. I loved the taste of the Bavarian pretzel roll! Now here's where the 3 stars comes in. The spinach and artichoke dip is runny and sparse. Lots of chips. Very little dip. I ordered a Chipotle Philly Cheese Steak to go. To my surprise it was a heap of crumbled steak with onions on a hoagie. There was no chipotle. There was NO cheese. For $13?! I was very disappointed. I'm chocking that off as a huge mistake. I will be back and patron this establishment because of the other pluses. But I do hope management will pay attention and attempt to adjust these items so they are worth the price. read more

Their pool tables are clean and mostly taken care of, though there are a few tables with dead rails, and most of the tables have holed pockets, so expect to chase down your balls during or after a game. I'd recommend changing the felt out on the tables or repairing the rails on a few, but overall they are in much better condition than most bars that aren't primarily geared towards billiards. read more

So happy to have found this place. Great beer selection. I only ate appetizers, nachos, wings, and quesadillas but they were well prepared and quite tasty. Some in my group ordered burgers and fries and they enjoyed them as well. Staff is super friendly and very accommodating. 2/3 of the establishment is smoker friendly including cigars but the non-smoking section was smoke free and very comfortable. Five English dart boards made the evening super fun. Lots of pool tables and other games to make the night fun. All in all, I'll be back and would recommend that you stop in for a bite and a pint. read more

I usually come here for late night dinner and drinks with friends since it is so close to campus. When coming in, they check your IDs and you just pick any table to sit at. The staff is usually extremely attentive so there's very little wait time for one of them to come over and ask for your drink orders. The food is pretty good depending on what you order. The fish and chips are alright. There is barely any flavor in the batter and the fries are just average, but it's not terrible. I am not a fan of the wings. They are extremely salty and crunchy. It's weird. Like not even crispy, just crunchy. There is way too much breading where it gets hard to bite down. The meat is also pretty dry. The sauce is super salty and is usually dry and adhered to the wing. I wouldn't recommend ordering wings here. The chips and dips are usually alright. The spinach artichoke dip isn't anything special but it's pretty good. The salsa is very generic. As for the drinks, they're good. Especially on certain days where there are deals. I usually just get beer but they have some nice cocktails and mixed drinks as well. I personally like the coronita, but its pretty big so it's nice to share. I would recommend coming here if you just want a couple of beers and grab some late night food. It's not the best out there, but it's not terrible either. I have only been here a couple of times, so I'll give it a go again and see if there's anything better there. read more

There was a strong smell of vomit hovering around the bar area both times I have been to this bar. I like my pubs dark and dirty, and I even find a smoky, musty smell a bit appealing in a bar environment. Vomit on the other hand, is a smell I would rather not experience while I am trying to drink my alcohol. Normally I would never go to this bar, but sometimes, out of necessity, I find myself thirsty in that part of town. The bar it's self is pretty big and has pool tables and dart boards. However, the only thing English about the Fox and Hound is it's name. Sure they have a few British beers on tap, but so does the bar my grandma runs out of her garage. The best thing about this bar is Tuesday it's $2 beers. They also show many different sporting events at the same time on all their TVs. They even had a soccer game on. They get a star for that. The wait staff isn't that attentive or quick-witted, but at least they get the orders right. The music was piped in from a mysterious play list and is pretty blah. Overall, The Fox and Hound is pretty smelly and blah, but if your broke and in the neighborhood, it may be worth it to stop in on a Tuesday. read more

Only 2 complaints - the floor is always sticky towards the restroom and the music could be a little louder. Music was pretty low on a Friday night.
