This establishment has been around for a while, but we just hadn't made it in until today. We have missed so much. The menu was filled with choices we loved. Bar food, yes, but each with a unique description that tantalized us. My wife had the Angry Bird, a wonderful burger served with not the slightest concern about its very spicy nature. We love spicy food and are disappointed with "Spicy" which is just mild. I had the brisket tacos that came with slaw , grilled onions, a complimenting verde salsa and limes. It was moist, filling and inviting of each next bite. The service was excellent with the waiter and bar staff working like a tag team to make sure we had no wants. I'm writing this review after arriving at work in the morning. I threw up two times before I got in... restless sleep the night before and the sweats. Foxxiis gave me food poisoning. The Cobb Salad and Scampi I ordered had a bit of a funky taste and I should have just tossed it but I ate it and now i'm paying the price. I can't recommend a spot that doesn't care for the safety of others. I'm 30 and this is the first time this has happened... and I eat all over the states. Unacceptable. We tried this place out much sooner than I usually like to try new establishments, but I figured since basketball season is over, it might not be too crowded. Well, on a Sunday evening they were not crowded at ALL. Our server was quite friendly and attentive, but I think we were her only table. Most of the employees were keeping busy but for one server who was constantly on her phone if she wasn't at her table. Yeah, they weren't busy, but it was still a little annoying to see. Food took quite some time to come out, especially since there was only one other table getting food. We ordered chips and dips and got pretty full on that while we waited :-/ Kid got Caesar salad with grilled chicken and she liked it. Hub got catfish and fries. He said it tasted good, but not worth $14. I got a patty melt and I liked the sandwich quite a bit, would have LOVED it had the onions been cooked down a little more. I was not happy with the fries at all. They were a medium cut, so they were a little mealy on the inside and they were over seasoned with some sort of house blend which I did not care for at all. (There was actually a little pile of seasoning on my plate under the fries.) I will sub the fries next time! I would not go here with small kids or a large group. I love this place for sentimental reasons and because the food is awesome. The sweet potato fries are amazing (try them with ranch). Burgers are amazing. Only complaint was the French fries and they can bring a loud crowd in. Outside patio was dog friendly. read more

Read the reviews and decide to try it. Once again a little surprised by the choice of location, and the decor. We walked in and I truly felt that if we had gone in during the night, this is what it would have felt like being on the set of the movie Night at the Roxbury. Service: The wait staff was very nice and greeted and seated us immediately. He was smart enough not to seat us near the full bar with the 5 o'clock commuters grabbing a drink on the way home as we had our kids with us. He was polite and attentive. Food: A lot of items, with a mixture of backgrounds. I ordered fajitas thinking that it was a safe choice, I mean it's charred meat and veggies and store bought bought tortillas. Came with Mexican rice and beans, but I'll have to say that this recipe combination would be found no where in Central America, much less Mexico . This is not a family restaurant. This is a place I'd imagine you'd go to when you have a Tinder Date you're not sure of. I've been here for Brunch and Dinner. Upscale American food for a reasonable price. Awesome chicken and waffles. My patty melt was cooked to perfection! Honestly, I'm very disappointed. We love this place. But... tonight we walked into the restaurant and sat ourselves. The QR code on the table didn't work so I asked for menus. The waitress was incredibly rude and acted super annoyed that I had asked. I stated to her "sorry, the QR code is messed up" and she didn't even acknowledge that I had said something, dropped the menus and walked away. Can't believe we found this gem in Murphy! A friend and I went for dinner and had to try a little bit of EVERYTHING! To start, the place was clean, has a dog friendly patio, and the service was impeccable! Thank you to Fonsi who was very attentive to us. We started off with drinks. I had a Michelada and my friend got the Rasberry Rendezvous. It's always hard to find a good Michelada, but this one was just PERFECT. Right amount of spice and flavor! My friends drink was good as well sweet, but not too sweet, and fruity. Then came the good stuff! We ordered a wedge salad, the Texas queso, ceviche del mar, and the catfish fingers as appetizers. The bacon on the wedge salad was heaven sent!! The breading on the catfish fingers was sooo good and fluffy and crispy! As for the ceviche...it was heavenly! They threw in some clementines that added just the right amount of sweetness and pico de gallo for a little kick! Good on a hot summer day or any day really! We had heard that their wings are really good so we got the Cajun wings that did not disappoint!! Probably the best in town!! We were also told the honey glazed carrots were to die for so we got a side of those, and well; I'll be trying to recreate those for the holiday season!! Very yummy! We were getting full so we decided to split our entree which was... the Cajun chicken pasta... OMG. I was hoping it would taste as good as it sounds... and it was!! SO DELICIOUS! Highly recommend! Lastly, being that everything was delicious, we just had to try dessert. (P.S. - it's not on the menu. But they'll ask if you want dessert) We were torn between the Oreo cake and the southern whiskey cake. It was a tough decision, but we went with the whiskey cake. WOW. It was good! I hate that this place is so good. We can't stop wanting to go back. Trying to look at healthier alternatives, but we are ending up here every other weekend if not sooner. The food is amazing everything tastes fresh especially when all you get is a TV dinner from most chains. I just think they should concentrate on the dining experience - they have the food chops down. This is a sterile little outpost of nightlife in the suburb of Murphy. Sterile as in the type of bar you would take your monther to after church. I left Foxiis feeling underwhelmed and duped. My family visited Sunday to watch the game. We ordered a few happy hour items that are offered during NFL game days...loaded fries, stuffed jalapenos and beef nachos. We also ordered catfish fingers and boneless wings at regular price. The stuffed jalapenos tasted nothing like I expected. They were supposedly stuffed with different cheeses and pico. I only tasted the pico and it was not good. We were charged $11 for our beef nachos that were only suppose to be $5 during happy hour. For $11, there are a lot better places to get nachos. The 8pc boneless wings were ridiculously small for the $9 spent. I also ordered a house margarita which just did not taste good. I even broke my rule in leaving alcohol behind...it was just that nasty. The only thing that I really enjoyed and would go back for was the sticky toffee pudding with crown royal caramel sauce. It is a spice cake with an awesome sauce and ice cream. While I'll pick up the cake to go, I will leave the food and drinks behind as it was not worth $60. read more

I really want to like this place as this area needs a good place that Foxii's can become. I have been there three times. All three times the staff was great. Unfortunately, all three times the food was average to below average. As many others have mentioned, the decor is a little cold, however, I think the art on the walls is pretty cool. Also as someone else mentioned, they had one CFb game on almost all of the TVs when there were 2 other games being played. I will probably go back at some point but there are better places to go watch a game and grab a bite. Really need to work on food......... read more

I really like this place! This neighborhood has been in need of a good sports bar and we may just may have it now. The chicken wings are meaty and tasty, not those tiny wings at other places. The Bacon Wrap appetizer is awesome (everything is better with bacon). The atmosphere while still evolving is great for watching sports, the staff is attentive and friendly it is an awesome alternative to the chain sport bars. read more

Excellent staff, great to watch games in a private non indoor smoking bar/restaurant atmosphere! I love the wedge salad with ranch and blue cheese crumbles, the bacon wrapped trio is amazing (comes with a mix of grilled steak, chicken and shrimp wrapped in Serrano peppers, bacon and cheese). Mmmmm, perfection! I don't think it's jalapeño because it's got more of a kick to it but I could be wrong. I've cooked with both so that's why I feel the taste buds think it's Serrano. The wings are tender and flavorful. I love the chicken fried steak and they actually use a top grade of meat vs the typical steaks you get at places like Chilis, Cheddars, etc...very filling and it comes with mashed potatoes and glazed sliced carrots. I've had a case of not so hot mashed potatoes but they were replaced. Also one of the times on the trio we got, our chicken skewers were not cooked all the way and the manager, Juan apologized personally and comped that off of our ticket and I believe even our meals (can't remember) He is very friendly and always striving for a good reputation with Foxiis and so willing to make everything right! I went with my wife to watch the Saints play on Sunday night. The bar was full so we sat at the tall tables right behind the bar. Mirror the other comments about back rests on these chairs. Drink prices are quite reasonable, but the 1 server was definitely not a bartender. She not only wasn't sure if they had Amaretto (which is probably OK for a sports bar), but she didn't know what Amaretto is (which is a little weird for someone working at a bar). This is our go to spot. We have celebrated a delicious Valentines Day, football games, reunited with friends and just plain nothing special. The food is the best around for miles.
