This has always been my go to pizza joint. Today just might be it for a while for me. My Pizza only had cheese and sauce half-way up the pizza, the rest of the way it was burnt off the pizza, the bottom was undercooked. The host Anthony was rude and very nasty personality, we were having a 82nd birthday for our mother, 9 people but 2 were around the corner coming when we finally seated us for 7 knowing we had 2 more coming set us up at a table for 6 and crammed 8 chairs around at , not enough room for the people much less the food that was going to be ordered we started putting a second table to ours which there was no one else in the room and Anthony came in and smarted off I thought you only had 7 , we seated you for seven, by now we are all getting a little ticked off with his treatment, so I made the suggestion there are other restaurants in town he just looks at us and says hate to see yall leave real smartassed like as he was walking away, so we went to the Olive Garden had a great dinner we were treated properly and spent about $300-$400 and tipped our waiter very well, so I hope this finds its way to the owner of fox's and he has a heart to heart with his employees about the importance of customers and how no customers no jobs , it's really a simple concept read more

I just reread my review from my first visit 6 years ago, and I figured I needed to write an update. The pizza was so good that I came back for another visit, and the service was better. I came again and was even more pleased. Now, I tell everyone that Fox's is my favorite pizza place in the River Region! I drop by every chance I get (I now live in Montgomery, so it's a drive). They know me now, so I get great service every time I come. I consider the manager and his family my friends. I'd recommend this place to anyone--and I do! This place is now somewhere I can't enthusiastically recommend. It's good pizza if you go in person. We wanted to check on the wait before heading all the way there because it can get busy. Over the phone, we were told, "I'm sorry but we can't tell you the wait over the phone. It's against our policy." I told the individual that we were making a decision between their place and another pizza place based on our limited time for dinner. It made no difference and they refused to inform me of the wait time. So, we went elsewhere and had a better experience and better food. If only they would leverage the Yelp wait times and virtual line function like other busy restaurants. read more

Been coming here since 2016 - lots has changed since then including the beautiful Teddy's Bourbon Bar being added. If I'm not mistaken, I think they have the largest Whiskey selection in the southeast. We usually come for dinner on weekends and listen to the live music! There's rarely ever a wait for the two of us and the staff treat us like family. Our favorite thing to order is a salad and pizza to split and after enjoy drinks on the back patio. Food was great, customer service was substandard. Four big guys on a golf trip, the staff at the course recommended this place. Food was awesome. But when we arrived, the hostess tried to put us four big fellas in a booth. The booth could accommodate four smaller people. We asked for a different booth in the middle of the restaurant. We were informed those are for parties of 5 or more. This is happening at 2 pm. Not your normal lunch or supper rush times. We inquired if they really get that busy this time of day. We were advised by the hostess that they do. We were eventually placed at a table in the very back of the joint. Again I say, good was great. While in town visiting Prattville my boyfriend and I decided on Pizza on a Friday night and he said that Fox's Pizza Den had the best Pizza in town. After reading the reviews I was on the fence about coming here, it was clear that most people felt the customer service was terrible but the food was good. I was in the mood for good food so we decided to give Fox's a try. We arrived at 730pm and although there were several empty tables not yet cleaned off throughout the restaurant, we were told it would be a 25 minute wait for a table for 3. Several others came in after us and was told the same about the wait time. After 10 minutes or so I remembered that I came for the Pizza and was not interested in a long wait at a half way filled restaurant so we decided to get our food to go. We put in our order and by the time our food was ready our table had become available as well. I was hungry and was glad we did not wait for the table. My boyfriend and his son had half cheese pizza and half deluxe which they get all the time and love every time, they told me the pizza is consistently good. I ordered a small Stromboli with mushrooms, Green peppers, and onions. I am very particular and had to make sure that the mushrooms were fresh and not canned before ordering and the young man at the counter ensured me that all of their ingredients were fresh. My Stromboli was absolutely delicious, it had just the right amount of everything. Fox's Pizza Den definitely has superior pizza and if you are looking for good fresh pizza this is the place to come to. I can't speak for the service nor the long wait times but I will be back for the pizza. read more

Fox's has always been a staple and a must visit when I come home. I was super excited when they put the new bar in about 2 years ago, they had an amazing selection of craft beer for just bringing in beer! I had suggested to a manager for them to get verified with untapped, since they have such a great selection! So others can find them & know which beer they have! Which I'm sure, im not the only one to have suggested it! Customer service can be hit or miss, but I know they're trying their best! Especially since it can get so busy so fast. Anytime we've have less than great service, they have always bent over backwards to make amends. Which is what matters. They're human, they can make mistakes! It's how you go about fixing them! Love the pizza, spaghetti is my favorite go to dish though. WHICH, is saying something because I hateeee 98% of most spaghetti! I was visiting from out of town and just used google maps. I ordered take out their small pizza and just has them add the toppings I wanted..... it was absolutely delicious. Their timing was perfect, and I ordered a speciality coffee which was amazing (I got peanut butter and chocolate) I dropped it as I was walking out the door. They were so kind to make me another and didn't charge me. The staff was super friendly. The restaurant itself has a really cool vibe. I have lived in Prattville all my life and given Fox's Pizza Den a lot of business over the years. I am always happy to see a local business doing well and contribute to that success every chance I get. HOWEVER, I will never give Fox's Pizza Den another dime. I chose this venue to celebrate my mother's 85th birthday. we had a party of 16 and I knew they didn't take reservations, so we got there at 5:30. They told us it would be a 1.5 hour wait. The hostess promised to call us when our table was ready as we waited at the coffee shop across the street. At 7pm we hadn't heard anything so my daughter went back over there to check on it. We were told they were ready. There were three empty booths in the main dining area and two empty 8-seat tables in the back room. We were led to the back room and told we only had seating for eight. According to the manager they released one of our tables because we weren't in the restaurant when it became available. I seated my 85-year old mother while we argued with wait staff and management for 30 minutes before finally letting us have the second table in the back room. Fortunately, my mother's attention was on the children so she didn't know what was going on. She may not have many birthdays left. I will never take a chance on anything important with Fox's Pizza Den again. read more

Have tried this place so many times and have just never had a good experience. The ingredients they use do not taste like good quality. The last straw for us was when we bought two large pizzas only to get home and realize the entire center of the dough was RAW. Never again. I'd choose Midtown Pizza Kitchen any day. read more

They "do not have water," thus the waitress said as she brought out two bottles of water that would cost $1 each. She wouldn't have told us this except we asked about it upon seeing the bottle. This is something that typically a server would inform a patron of when they order water. If you don't want water they have Pepsi products (gag). The 1905 drink is good. Presentation was nothing special, it was in a regular glass. The pizza was very good, has a fluffy garlicky crust. You can get their specialty pizzas in a personal size which is nice. They have a good variety of toppings. I was disappointed that the only pasta they offer is spaghetti and meatballs. They would get a higher rating if they offered free water. read more

Only 1 star because zero isn't an option. This place has some really silly policies that I have a hard time understanding. If I have a family of 6 and order a pizza and drinks for everyone who will attend what difference does it make if they are sitting at the table or not. I'm spending the same amount of money and paying for the space so who cares. Does it look cooler or something. If I was the business owner I would want to speed up the process so my tables would be available for the next customer. Now I had to clear my schedule just so I can sit here after I'm finished eating taking up a table and consuming extra beverages that they wouldn't have had to serve me. A group of friends, from my work, met for lunch today @Fox's Pizza, in Prattville. We were told we could not be seated until all people were present. The place was empty! Then as we gathered on the hot sidewalk outdoors, the manager came out and spoke to us very rudely. He told one lady to "Be quiet and let me talk!" Then as we entered the door, he singled out one lady and scolded her in a loud, rude voice! My friends and I will NOT be spending anymore of our $$ at that business. Everything about this place was great. The service was good and the food was even better. We happened to be passing through this beautiful town and did not know where to eat. We asked a guy outside of the restaurant about a pizza place down the road and he said he it was good. As we talked we found out he was the owner of this restaurant. Checked out this place earlier today for a family event. As far as the food - well pizza - of quite delicious. Our group ordered both the Ranch Club and a pepperoni. I ate from the pepp so can speak personally to its taste; those eating the other said it was amazing as well. Couple of reasons I'm not giving it give stars: 1. Atmosphere isn't really all that great. It's not bad, but I didn't find it to really have much of a personality. 2. I didn't find the staff to be too personable. A couple of us chatted with two quite extensively while ordering, and they we're just sorta blah. Just personally think there's room for improvement here. All-in-all if I'm ever back in the area and have a hankerin' for pizza and the like, I'd definitely return. read more

It's my favorite pizza in Prattville and Montgomery. I've only eaten in once - it was kids night or family night or something as there was loud dance music and games being played with kids running amok everywhere - but it was fun to watch. Otherwise it's always take out pizza with an occasional home-made brownie thrown in for fun. The pizza tastes fresh, the toppings are fresh and plentiful, and they will make it however you ask them to. That and a military discount makes me a happy Prattvile Fox Pizza Den fan. read more

Headed in here after the Christmas parade and was just ahead of the crowd, thank goodness! When we came in the wait was approx. 15 minutes. Within minutes the wait grew to 30 - 45 minutes and several people just left. Large restaurant with plenty off seating, a bar as well as a coffee bar. Once we were seated our waitress was quick to come over and get our drink orders and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu. Good selection of standard and gourmet pizza's with a great variety of sizes. They also have salad's, hoagies, sides (lot's of flavored bread sticks), Stromboli, etc. We opted for a Tossed Salad to start and an Ultimate Veggie Pizza with Peperoni added. Salads were fresh and good sized for the price. Also, they give you plenty of dressing and bring it on the side so you can add however much you want. So, here is where it becomes just ok. Since this was my first visit I hope to change the review to 4 stars in the future and I think it is an easy fix for them. The Pizza came out and looked amazing. Not a thick crust not a thin crust, just in between. The problem was at it's warmest it was lukewarm and in many areas on the cool side. The flavor was good and the topping were plentiful, but it just missed the mark not being hot fresh out of the oven. The second part that they need to improve on is service. Our waitress was as nice as could be and when she checked on us was very good. But, she did leave us for long periods of time and after we were done eating we had to go find somebody to give us a to go box and the check. When our waitress came out, again, she was nice and apologized for the wait. Would like to come back and try again because all in all it was a good experience and I think they could easily improve to a 4 star review. read more
