Great place for lunch if you work in the area. Family owned with specials every day. They serve breakfast and lunch from a set menu also. The regular menu is pretty basic with sandwiches and salads. The real gems are the daily specials! All kinds of different foods so you definitely have options. Specials range from pasta, Cuban sandwiches, Shepard's pie, and more. They just started to offer rice bowls as well and have three different choices you can get any day. Prices are cheap, food is good, service is quick. Perfect lunch spot in Maitland.

Surprising lunch find in the Maitland office building area! This cafe serves breakfast and lunch for the office crowd. I didn't even know about this hidden cafe until my coworker mentioned it to me. It's right across the street from the Sheraton hotel. The cafe is on the left side as soon as you enter the main entrance of the building. There are daily specials located on their website and on a paper menu in front of their restaurant entrance. They have a limited menu, but a great variety of dishes. I ordered a spicy turkey wrap to go, but noticed the day's special was shepherd's pie. Checking out, I noticed that they also had a small drink menu. I will be sure to come back here for those office days when i need a cortadito boost!

Now serving Spanish Bowls. This was yellow rice, black beans, picadillo, tostones, cheese and chimicuri sauce. It was also delicious!

A small Cuban-American cafe in an office building in Maitland Center. It's run by a Cuban family with a legit chef and they serve authentic Cuban fare along with American classics. If you're in Maitland Center at breakfast or lunch and are hungry you need and deserve this place. With 5 stars and 1$ sign it's both delicious and inexpensive. You can't go wrong with a Cuban sandwich, the ham croquets or the daily specials.

I often get the lemon chicken orzo soup which is delicious. The blackened chicken over Cesar salad is great.

A place you'd choose to eat, and than lounge with friends or explore the internet on your iPad. 5 stars here Service Counter service brought to your table with a smile. Girl was quite helpful and explained some of their dishes. 5 stars here Food The tea was a bit different but interesting. The steamed milk was done to perfection, with honey packets provided. I ordered scrambled eggs which were done to order with real eggs the ample amount of eggs (looked like 3) were fluffy and quite tasty. The sausage patty was pretty standard, nothing special. Interestingly, the biscuit was grilled (which I don't usually like) and didn't look like anything special. However, it was quite tasty and nice and fluffy. 4+ stars here. The bottom line Would I return? Absolutely. Three reasons (1) the food, although not outstanding, was fresh and good (2) the ambience was super. If you're looking for a place to come down from the stress of the day this is a great place to choose. (3) the cost of my breakfast is outstanding ($16 for my entire breakfast). In today's ever increasing prices for everything the Boston coffeehouse is an oasis amongst the desert of dining out today.

The workers are super friendly and the food is pretty decent too. I got an iced nutty Irish lady. The cherry flavor really comes through, but there wasn't much of a coffee flavor, so I wish that was more present. Also they forgot to give me whip cream :(( but I guess that's better for me healthwise lol The cranberry chicken panini was also so good. It was sweet, it was creamy, it had some spice, the chicken was pretty juicy - everything you would want tbh. It was smaller than I expected it to be. But I feel like the price reflects it and it is on the cheaper side, so I'm not mad about it.

It featured tofu (the menu says almond crusted, but it wasn't), house made lentil sausage, buttermilk ranch dressed kale, spicy aioli, on a brioche bun. It was SO good and I would absolutely order it again. 10/10 vegetarian option. We also got the herbed chicken salad panini and, again, super impressed! It's on toasted sourdough and came with our choice of side (oven baked sweet potatoes). The chicken salad itself was full of herbs and stood out! The sweet potatoes were also spiced and were a treat, not an afterthought. I loved the aioli dip that came with them and found myself dipping everything in it! I also got a matcha and an iced cortado. The matcha was fab- with a seasonal blueberry syrup. The coffee was actually a bit of a disappointment. It tasted burnt and we didn't love it. Quick shoutout to Matt at the counter who was a GEM when we were making our brunch picks. A friendly staff member can really elevate an experience!! Finally, they carry really good natural wines. I know because I've had those bottles at Golden Hour in Baldwin Park and they are standouts. Next time, I'm grabbing some wine!

It was no where near as clean or charming as I had expected. Once greeted, I asked if I could have my Americano in a mug instead of a to-go cup. [Insert confused face here]. Apparently this was a tough request. Once we cleared this up, payment was processed and I took a seat at a booth. Coffee order was brought out in a small plastic cup. Yes- plastic cups.
