We have our tradition: Every time we visit The Bridge of Flowers we stop in here, sit up at the counter and get coffee and share a slice of homemade pie. The coffee is always fresh and the pie is lick-the-plate-clean good. Yesterday we split a berry cobbler a la mode and with whipped cream, and afterwards I was left secretly wishing we had ordered our own separate slice. It's a real warm, cozy place, just what you'd expect from an old diner in a small town. The waitresses are always very nice and quick to serve you. No pretenses or trying to "be" something. My partner and I came for a visit after our skiing trip. On walking in the young girl behind the counter just stared awkwardly at us for a few moments until we asked if we should seat ourselves. Upon seating we were greeted by the same woman, a clearly experienced waitress. We were given sass and attitude throughout our experience, as were the customers around us. As for the food, it was not bad, however it did seem like it had been pulled from the freezer moments before cooking. Another customer had ordered the fish and onion rings(which is around $11) and it was about the size of a saltine cracker with a height of a slice of bread. When the waitress was asked about the portion she gave him an arrogant response and did not show proper customer service skills. Behind the counter, the cook was getting frustrated with her for not remembering the items they were out of and continuing to allow customers to order them. Overall, she didn't seem to have any kind of customer service etiquette or seem to know what was going on around her.The diner itself is a cozy little spot with some vintage posters, as well as a few old car photos to really drive in the older feel. The downside is that the creamer looked to be about as old as the restaurant itself. read more

Ordered 2 eggs scrambled, rye toast side order of bacon (3 slices) and coffee' .Receive white bread, no refill coffee and bacon way over cooked. Received the bill with no dollar amounts on the slip. At the cash register, I was asked to pay $12.53. Way over priced. Will really have to consider returning again read more

Left uncomfortable. The server and cook were NOT wearing their face masks properly when interacting with customers and cooking food. Our utensils were placed directly on the table with no consideration of germs. The atmosphere felt unsanitary, and my group felt very uncomfortable while in this restaurant. I used to love this place. Have been there two times since the new management took over and I am very sad to say I won't be back. The meal that we got tonight was inedible. Scalloped potatoes with ham with a salad. The potatoes were cooked well but the cheese sauce was brown with little white bumps in it. The salad was very good. Average food. Extremely rude owner. While we were eating brunch, our younger son was crying. The diner was extremely noisy, and we did not think his crying was noticeable (for which we were grateful). Suddenly the owner came up to us and said, "Ma'am, you need to remove your child! It's very disruptive." We were mortified and I left immediately with our son. This was handled very rudely and badly. If she had simply asked nicely and explained that it was disturbing other people, we would not have been upset (just mortified!). We truly did not think it was loud enough to disturb people because the diner was SO loud. As an owner, it would have been so much better to assume positive intent on our part and handled it nicely. read more

Fox Towne is one of my favorite places to eat breakfast. Its a small town diner, simple and straight forward. The menu is limited, but has the standard diner foods, sammiches, burgers, breakfast. I always get breakfast; its good, not great, but you get what you asked for every time. The place is clean, the staff is quick and professional. Some of the waitresses are friendlier than others, but they're all good at their job. There can sometimes be a little bit of a delay with your order, depending on how busy the place it. There's just one small grill, so if there are a lot of people in the place, you may have to wait a few minutes. Menu: B+ (tiny diner menu) Food: B+ Wait staff: A- Atmosphere: A (it's a diner, not fancy, but most important: CLEAN!) They are open in the evening/night for dinner, but I haven't yet been in for that yet. read more

We went to the Bridge of Flowers in Shelburne Falls and wanted a quick, reasonably priced lunch afterwards. Reading mostly positive reviews on yelp, we chose this place. The service was good, friendly staff, and very speedy. However, the food was not tasty. We both ordered cheeseburgers which were 2.3 ounce frozen patties. They were kind of gross. We also split a bowl of corn chowder, which was ok. They do not accept credit cards, yet there was no obvious indications that it was cash only. Luckily there was a bank next-door, so it worked out. The people were nice, so I'm giving it 2 stars, but the food really deserves only 1. We won't be going back. read more

This place is a no thrills diner but it serves up some delicious grub. I ordered a short-stack of Strawberry Pancakes here for breakfast and I am still thinking about how delicious they were, and for only $4.75! I certainly hope that the New Management cleans this place up, because in 2018, I had the worst experience that any paying customer could ever have. I walked in there at around 5:00P.M. on a February afternoon during the weekday. I walked in and sat down at the counter. No body waited on me, not even a glass of water. Then a local came walking in and stood right next to me staring at me. Quite rude, and I looked at him and asked, if there was something I could help him with. He stated, and I quote "your in my seat" unquote. He's lucky I didn't punch him out right then and there. So, I moved down a couple of seats, then a woman who worked there finally walked up to me and stated, and I quote "you want something" ? unquote. I ordered, ate, paid, and left. If the new owners want to do well with this venture, they need to crack down on the level of ignorance in that area, and that is the bottom line. We staggered into Fox Towne Diner in a daze, after being rudely assaulted verbally at The Village Restaurant, a few shops up the main street., which resulted in us walking out. At Fox Towne, waitress Robin greeted us with sparkling warmth, energy and enthusiasm. Wow. What a difference. Our speedily served food was tasty and excellent value. The tone of the Diner was busy, postive, and friendly. Sitting at the bar saw the staff chatting to us on and off as they worked. To we foreigners, special indeed. I visited the Foxtown Diner a couple of weeks ago. I'm a fan of small town restaurants and can tell when one is pretty good when locals are regulars. In this case man of the people in there were both. Good sign. I was over at Eddie's Wheels having some work done on my dogs cart which was taking a few hours, so I grabbed something to eat here. I had one of the specials. The turkey club with fries. I had originally wanted the meatball sub special, but when I found out they didn't actually make the meatballs I changed my mind to the turkey club instead. The food was average, but I hadn't expected anything more. I would come here again if I was in the neighborhood just because of the good service I did receive. read more

Everything was good!!! We went in for a late breakfast. We had Cinnamon French Toast with Real Maple syrup. No extra charge like other places. Omelet was Loaded!!! Really good honest home fries.
