I finally stopped in here on a whim after having driven by the train station many times. The inside of the restaurant is incredibly unique, it has an intimate ambience and has many train-related decorations. It even has a fireplace which I imagine is a cozy addition in the winter. If you're lucky, you might even hear the commuter rail rush by during your meal. The service at the restaurant is great with the servers being incredibly attentive. To start us off, we were given a bowl of cheese bread - these were addictive and super tasty! I had to control myself and turn down the offer of another round because I didn't want to get too full on bread alone. As for the meat, servers make rounds around the dining room with various grilled meats that they cut off for you right at the table. They come by every few minutes so you will never be left waiting long. My personal favorite was the top sirloin! I do wish there were some more exotic options, such as chicken gizzards / hearts as I've had at other Brazilian restaurants. The buffet area had some good dishes. I appreciated the salad section and side dishes to help offset the heaviness of the meat. I do wish that the buffet area was larger and had more variety, but overall I was happy with my food. I did feel that the restaurant was a bit expensive and was a little disappointed to see that there were no free dessert offerings included in the buffet price. Wow. I literally had to do a little dance when I bit into the flank steak, bacon wrapped chicken, sirloin, filet mignon, and chicken drum. Juicy and delicious, and fresh off the grill. The servers were so nice and courteous. AND THE CHEESE BREAD...is absolutely dangerous hahaha I could eat 5 of them, but don't want to get full off it. I would probably give Framingham Station a 3.5/5 if I could. Atmosphere definitely had a cool vibe being that it used to be a train station and you can still literally see the commuter go by from time to time. The food was alright. It was a buffet style where you can go grab a plate and get carb and vegetable related items by yourself and servers will come around to your table to ask if you want a certain cut or style of meat. The flank steak was one of my favorites but even then it wasn't anything that blew me away. I also wish they had more of a selection to work with for carbs and veggies. The service was amazing. I wanted to go here for my birthday as my wife would never want to go to this place otherwise. We walked in and were seated at our table. Not given much instruction as to what to do or how to proceed until the waiter came over. My wife hated that she was being constantly interrupted as we were having conversations with the other couple. I thought the rotisserie food was good but the salad bar was kind of lacking. The service to get drinks was not the best. The location of the place in the old railroad station is pretty cool but needs a good cleaning of the beans and stuff as it was dusty. On February 4, 2024, a group of four adults and three kids visited the place. While I am not a food blogger, let me begin by describing the building, which left a lasting impression. Imagine yourself having lunch at East Church in Boston or City Hall in Cambridge. The difference is that despite restaurant considerable size, the interior is remarkably welcoming and cozy. The experience of appreciating the exterior and interior architecture of Framingham Station alone makes the trip from Sharon worthwhile. Within our group, each adult possesses different tastes, not to mention the unpredictable preferences of the kids. It's always uncertain whether they will eat or not. To my surprise, the variety of food offered was extensive, catering to everyone's preferences. The freshness of the salad bar, featuring mildly salted veggies, was a particular highlight. I personally enjoyed the thick, non-stringy asparagus, along with the eggplants and salsa. The quinoa salads and delightful mozzarella were among other favorites. Standing out from the hot food bar were the cassava fries, which my husband tried for the first time and inquired about purchasing for home cooking. One of the kids couldn't resist the mashed potatoes. Regarding the meats, everything we sampled was good, with some parts better than others, but all expertly cooked. In the lineup of beef cuts, the chicken breast in bacon was a standout, earning the title of my personal favorite. The kids favored the lamb chops and chicken legs. Given our preference for less salty food, the servers were always willing to provide us with middle cuts. The service was another highlight of our experience. It was polite and attentive, avoiding the excesses found in some overpriced places while remaining efficient and kind. So kind, in fact, that as we were leaving, the staff chased after us with a thousand apologies, accompanied by a slice of beautiful chocolate cake with a candle. They had missed bringing a slice of birthday cake for one of the kids, as they wanted to avoid making us feel pressured to leave too quickly. We are certain to return and plan to bring along friends and relatives. I recommend taking a moment on your way out to read the plaque in the foyer and gaze at the photo of the architect of the Framingham station. P.S. First time coming here and was recommended by a co-worker! The ambiance is great and the dining area has high ceilings giving this place a great airy feel. We got the Rodizio option (which is the all you can eat option) which was $39.99 per person on Saturday and Sunday (all day). So the way it works in a nutshell is there is a buffet area where you can go and help yourself whenever you want. When you're seated you get a small placard which is colored red and green on opposite sides. During your meal there will be servers making rounds at each table with skewers of assorted meats that they will present you with. You can let them know if you're interested or not (they'll let you know what it is when they present it to you). If you want some you use the tongs they provide to grip a piece of the protein they will cut off for you. It's quite an experience if you haven't had it before though my advice is to go during the off-peak hours because if there's a lot of people present then it may take longer for a server to get to your table! Overall the food was quite good. Some of the meats were a bit salty but when combined with the greens at the buffet it balances everything out pretty well. One highlight of our meal was the Pina Colada which was quite a spectacle in terms of presentation and tasted FANTASTIC (probably the best I've had). It's $10 but man is it worth it. NOTE: One thing to be aware of is the dessert tray they bring out to you at the end of the meal. They have a large selection of desserts that you can pick which they'll bring out to you. HOWEVER, it is NOT included in your buffet. We ordered a flan which was an additional $4.99 (which wasn't anything special and definitely isn't something we would get if we had to pay extra for it). read more

Went here on the last weekend of restaurant week. We showed up a little after opening and there was 1 other guest there. You have the option of weighing and paying for your plate as you go or the AYCE. As the former fatty that I am, I went for the all you can eat. They have booths of food that someone will serve you, but this is mostly appetizers and the small stuff. For the first 20 mins, we just sat there staring because the guys with the meat went to the one other table only. The 4th star goes to the ONLY waitress among many others that noticed us waiting for our turn. The steaks were quite fatty and rightfully salted, which I love oh so much! Also tried a capirinha, which is like blendered fruit inside alcohol. It's a nice restaurant to go eat at, but I'm not sure it's worth the drive to come here frequently. read more

Went here for a birthday dinner with the family. 5 adults & 2 kids under 3. Employees were very friendly and service was great. Food was really good, and the servers came around often. Staff is super nice, food is fantastic, and I love the room itself. This is especially true in the winter when they have a fire going. I love the assortments of red meats, chicken, and even roasted pineapple that come to the table on skewers at a good cadence. The only complaints I have are that two of the meats (2 out of 6 - 7) are insanely overseasoned: the one coated in salt and the one coated in garlic. These flavors killed whatever meat was covered in them - owners should retrain the chefs to cut those by about 90%. I've been to the place at least five times and those are always unedible. The rest of the tableside items were great. The "salad bar" with a complete veggie offering, warm prepared sides, cheeses, sliced deli meats, breads, and assorted desserts exceeded expectations as far as taste and assortment goes. I'd like to point out that some of these negative reviews make no sense "Portions were too small" at an all you can eat Brazilian Steakhouse or "I couldn't understand what they were saying because of their Brazilian accents" is such an arrogant white comment. My only complaint is that I asked for ice water with lemon and got a bottle of water of which they charged me a whopping $2.50! Please .. I get a case for that. They need to have an option of tap or bottle and let you know up front the $2.50 charge for a bottle. Hopefully they read their reviews and change their water options. Was ok. It's the type of restaurant that places a two sided card on the table for each guest. One side is green, the other red. Green indicates to bring food and red is to take a brake. It a large open high ceiling restaurant. The place looked like it was going to be really nice but upon closer inspection I would have gone elsewhere for the money. First stop was the restroom to wash up and it was disgusting and hot! No air...then as we sat, they explained how the process works w servers bringing you different varieties of meats. You start off with a plate from the buffet station in which it was hard to find a clean plate that wasn't smudged w grease from previous use. That was my red flag #2. Then as we made our plates from one station to the next, my boys noticed water falling on them from the ceiling that was also falling on the plates if not careful. I told staff and they said it was from the air conditioning pipes. Didn't make it any better. It was briskly in there and the food wasn't warm enough from the buffet area. As we sat, the meets began to arrive and some were better than others. I like to cook a bit longer than what some of the cuts offered. In addition it was really seasoned and some even too salty. The chicken was my favorite alongside the filet mignon. I don't know if would give it another shot. Water leaks is a hazard that can contaminate food. On the plus side, staff was really friendly. The price was crazy for the service and quality. Was over $230 for a family of 4 that basically ate one plate because you do get full. read more

What a fabulous eatery. From the minute you walk in to the time you leave, everyone has a smile and are genuinely glad you are there, always asking what else they can do for you, excellent service. Now the food, wow! Every cut of meat you can imagine cooked to perfection, so delicious and so many choices, they have rare to well done and all done extremely well. There is a side board of mashed, fries, bread, they even had mint jelly for the lamb and a salad bar with tabbouleh and assorted rice and pasta dishes. Deserts were rich, creamy and delicious, we had tiramisu , flan and crème brûlée trust me you will not leave there hungry! First, the bartender struggles to make cocktails. There is a bar in the entry way and the entire wall behind it should be knocked down to turn this into a wrap around bar that would be so much more interesting. Maybe a third of the restaurant on the other side of the bar is a very boring (albeit tasty) buffet. The meat selections are meh, mostly beef. Overall it's vibe is white table cloths (like high end steak house) which is way beyond what is going on inside.. frankly, I miss the old breakfast joint. This is the coolest building and after only trip here, I was not wowed enough by the food to come back. The staff is friendly, but that's just not enough at $30+ pp for food before drinks. read more

Sad to say many of the criticisms that I read before we arrived were not harsh but frank and fairly deserved. Except for those that criticized the staff's attitude I wonder about the customers' attitude. The staff really tries to please. My crux of frustration comes from nice Brazillian employees working in a restaurant where communication (especially in English) is lost. It seems not to be of any concern to management. Plus, our charming hostess could not clearly explain how this concept works. Luckily, my friend was experienced in the 'meat of moment' experience but it is insane that we could not consistently understand the cut of meat being offered. Filet was a no brainer. Also, it happened to be the best of all...exceptional actually! But this cut was one of 6-7 choices, plus 2 chicken choices. Everything else almost inedible-death by salt. The funky buffet was a hodgepodge of iceberg salad posing as a Caesar, cold broccoli...yet nicely done hot mashed potatoes. I found it odd and inconvenient they offered a tiny bowl of Chimichurri at the buffet instead of each table being outfitted with a steak lovers goto's; Chimichurri, A1, Garlic butter, caramelized onions, mushrooms, etc... a nice set up to enhance a memorable experience. What was memorable was my active participation in lending a hand to the staff and helping the only English speaking employee, their only Bartender, how to make a drink. She not only did not know what a Moscow Mule was she showed me the pitiful lowly inventory of mixers. Okay, I settled for a double shot of Patron...chilled over. The young barkeep was not even outfitted with a bar strainer. I laughed as I showed her how to use her parring knife to strain the tequila from ice. That was Loony Tunes Cra-cra-CRAZY! Sadly FSBS just does not care about the basics. Sadly, don't expect them to invest in making sure you had an indelibly good time.
