A can't miss pavilion! So beautifully done, all the shops are so pretty. This is where you'll find the ratatouille ride. Theres a lot of outdoor seating, it did remind me quite a bit of Europe. There's a bakery which people were getting huge croissants from- we didn't get it because the line was extremely long (and we didn't know about its existence until we saw the croissant). We ended up getting the ratatouille crepe- I enjoyed it but my parents didn't. The pavilion is so beautiful- it's a can't miss. It's very large so make sure you build some time to walk around it and see everything. read more

We adore it, my family of 4 and it's gotten even better with the addition of Ratatouille and Remy's Adventure. (The attraction is busy and offers the single rider option.) This is a great spot for a quick service meal with offers of sandwiches and pastries. The hall's seating does feel a frantic, but you may be able to get a seat outside in the shade. The shops are adorable and fun to look at, especially the Disney themed items. So many park visitors wore Remy on their shoulder! When it comes to the 11 countries represented at EPCOT's World Showcase, France Pavilion is one of the best. Therefore, five stars. Here's why: 1. It's one of the most beautiful pavilions. 2. It has lots of good food, including one of the top restaurants at Disney World: Monsieur Paul. 3. It has lots of good shopping including high-end brands like Chanel, Dior, Givenchy (which I just learned how to pronounce), and Louis Vuitton. 4. It has one of the most popular rides, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, which I recommend. 5. It's home to the Pressed Brioche Ice Cream Sandwich at L'Artisan des Glaces. 6. The France Pavilion is located near the International Gateway Entrance. If you're entering World Showcase and make a right, you'll have to pass Canada, UK, and go over the bridge. It's the first country once off the bridge. This is one of our favorite pavilions and believe it's one of the best. To start, this pavilion has a show and a ride. The show actually has two options, first thing in the morning and then the last show of the day is the Impressions de France. In between those two shows during the day is, a Beauty and the Beast sing along. We prefer the Impressions de France. Aside from the ride and shows... they have the best food. 3 table service restaurants, 2 quick service, 1 drink location outside that sells wine and slushy cocktails, a walk up wine and champagne stop and then an ice cream shop. During festivals, they always have a booth and this is always one of the longest lines. My wife and I really enjoy this pavilion for the atmosphere. You are really emersed and it makes you feel as though you are in France. Overall this pavilion has a lot to offer. It has a ton of food, a ride (most of the pavilions do not have a ride), a show, shopping, wine, champagne and cocktails. For shopping they have quite a few options with classic Disney items and then more specialty items such as makeup, perfume and handbags. There are a few seats around the pavilion but there could always be more! During festivals, they always have a booth and this is always one of the longest lines! It always moves extremely slow as well. I do really enjoy this pavilion for the atmosphere. You are really emersed and it makes you feel as though you are in France. There is also characters that will come out for photos. It usually feels crowded here as well since there is truly so much to see and do here. I also love this pavilion for the atmosphere and the choices. It is one of my favorite stops when we visit. The France Pavilion at EPCOT isn't just a fake Paris -- it's a love letter to an idealized France, the kind that lives in your head when you watch old Truffaut films or dream about sipping wine by the Seine. Except here, the Eiffel Tower is scaled down, the baguettes are mass-produced, and the only river is the artificial lagoon hosting fireworks at 9 p.m. sharp. When the pavilion opened with EPCOT in 1982, Disney leaned into authenticity by bringing in actual French architects, artisans, and designers. The rooftops are replicas of Parisian zinc and slate, the fountains mirror those you'd stumble upon in the 7th arrondissement, and the tiny details -- wrought-iron balconies, flower boxes, cobblestones -- were all crafted to trick your brain into thinking you've teleported across the Atlantic. Even the Eiffel Tower you see is a 1/10th replica painted with a special technique to always look "distant," no matter where you're standing. The pavilion was designed to replicate the ambiance of a French village. Some of the primary activities at the France Pavilion is exploring a wide range of shops and boutiques. You can browse through perfumes, wine, gourmet food, and beauty products. Once you're done shopping, you can stroll through the beautiful gardens and fountains, capturing the essence of French architecture. The France Pavilion has some of the best dining options by far at Epcot! The signature restaurant, Chefs de France offers French cuisine and the Boulangerie Patisserie offers an array of pastries and baked goods. You'll also find the L'Artisan des Glaces which has ice cream and sorbet. Another quick service option is Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie that offers sandwiches, quiches, and pastries. The pavilion recently added Remy's Ratatouille ride. I think it recently converted to a stand-by wait line and it also has a purchase lightning lane option. It's a dark, slow ride with some 4D motion picture. The wait time can get a little bit longer, so I'd highly recommend going on the ride first thing in the morning if you can! Oh my yum!! In the sea of countries for the festival of the holidays the France pavilion is an absolute must stop for cocktails. There is a large amount of standing tables behind it with great views of the water and pavilion itself. Only wish there were some sitting tables. We got the hot chocolate martini which was to die for, it is like a chocolate milkshake with vodka. We also got the salted caramel vodka drink which came with an amazing cold foam. The France Pavilion is definitely one of the best pavilions at Epcot! It feels like one of the bigger pavilions, with tons of different shops that you can check out, great exclusive merch, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure ride, and of course so many delicious restaurants and food stands that is some of truly the best food in all of Epcot! It's a shame that it's located at one of the furthest points at the "back" of the park! If you're eating around the world like I was, it was one of the last pavilions I got to (after rope dropping Remy's ride in the morning before any of the food stalls were open) because I started in Mexico. By that point, it was hot and I was tired and full, so I had no appetite to try much of the delicious food here, but it was such a shame because everything I did try and see tasted and looked SO GOOD! It's such a shame that I am for sure going to approach this with better planning next time and make sure to leave space for the French pavilions goodies next time I go!!! read more

The France Pavilion is located at the 8 o'clock spot in the World Showcase in EPCOT. The Eiffel Tower overlooks the pavilion and all the themed buildings. One of the big ride attractions is Remy's Ratatouille Adventure. We also went to L'Artisan des Glaces to get their croque glacé which was delicious. REMY'S RATATOUILLE ADVENTURE: This is a fun ride using film and larger-than-life props with trackless car technology. If your party is comfortable splitting up, do the Single Rider Line and avoid the long wait time (not missing much if you do not do the queue). FOOD: For the best food in World Showcase, our choice is the France Pavilion. We go to Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie for reasonably priced and well-prepared food (great quiche) and L'Artisan des Glaces for home-made ice cream. Hope to soon try La Creperie de Paris or its take-out window Crepes a Emporter. More outdoor seating is needed in the France Pavilion - not many tables in Les Halles and none at L'Artisan des Glaces. Check the Disney app for the popular wine and cocktail bar kiosk and other table service restaurants in the France Pavilion. Plus France also hosts a food kiosk during the EPCOT festivals. SHOWS: You won't learn much about France from Impressions de France, a dated video montage with almost no narration. We have not seen the Beauty and the Beast sing-along (mixed reviews on YELP) that plays in the same theatre between the morning and evening showings of Impressions de France. There is also a small costume exhibit in the theatre lobby. SHOPS: The France Pavilion has some high-end shops such as Guerlain. Fans of Ratatouille and Beauty and the Beast will find lots of Disney merchandise in the France Pavilion. Many of the shops do not offer an Annual Passholder discount. read more

Definitely go to the wine shop at the France Pavilion - the Pinot noir is heavenly. Then if the Lin's isn't too long, you can head to the patisserie for wonderful baked goods, sandwiches and desserts. I didn't love the formal French restaurant as it was more Americanized with huge portions and lacks charming outdoor seating. The whole area needs more bistro chairs. Ample seating is sorely lacking. read more

This French Pavilion is so "Français" that it just makes me want to say "Oh ma belle fille, fais l'amour sur mon visage avec ton cul." - Yes, I'd eat anything I can find in this place, "Très rapide - même immédiatement - surtout le cul d'une Français fille délicieuse." Of all of the pavilions at Epcot this is the one that feels most natural, that feels most like home. Get your coffee Here. get you morning pastry Here, get your onion tart Here. A very nice area dedicated to France at EPCOT This pavilion or area is inside Disney's EPCOT theme park so you need tickets for the park to get to it. Look for the Eiffel Tower and that is where you will find this section. It is at the back of the park between England and Morroco parts of the park. This section of the park has many things to offer visitors. There are at least 7 eateries to include two sit-down restaurants and 5 grab-and-go spots. At most of the events that the park holds like the Food and Wine Festival, and the Flower Festival there is a special kiosk for a taste of France at the entrance to the area. I have been to all of them and they are all good. There is a wine shop, a sing-along show, a movie about the country, and a perfume shop. The section to the right as you face the country is only a few years old and contains The Ratatouille Ride, 2 Creperie eating places and restrooms. The Ratatouille ride and it's queues are at the back of this section. If you have never been on this ride, I would recommend going. It is fun and they did a good job of making it authentic to the movie from the wait in line to the ride itself. The architecture for the area seems very realistic for the movie's storyline. It is a very nice pavilion that I would recommend visiting while you are at the park. read more

This is my place! I cannot say enough about coming here and having the Grand Marnier slush and relaxing. We love the perfume shop and all of the restaurants. I have not had the chance to eat at all of them or everything, but I would love to come back for their ice cream, macaron, croque monsier, so, so many things here on my food bucket list. read more

Zen spot is the tables next to the hut where you get the orange slush. The orange slush is one of those iconic must haves as you drink around the world. Great restaurants with Monsieur Paul Lea Chefs de France. The video impressions of France is really cool and gives you a great taste of France. Bakery in the back is really good. All of the country pavilions at EPCOT are fun. They provide a glimpse into that country and their culture. Some of my favorites are those countries such as this one that I have been fortunate enough to visit in the last few years. The France Pavilion always sticks out to be because it's home to one of my favorite sit-down restaurants in WDW: Monsieur Paul. Besides that, it's hugely popular because Belle and the Beast usually have character meet and greets here and there's a huge counter service spot that serves a number of French edibles. The layout of the pavilion isn't as open as other countries along World Showcase, but in terms of offerings there's a lot to see here. The main gift shop is super open and there's also a smaller boutique-like shop that sells more higher end merch. The signature attraction, a film called Impressions de France, has been operating for as long as Epcot has been open and I believe is the only attraction left that is original to the park. Food is exceptional - their counter service eatery is worth checking out and they also have this ice cream shop that makes fresh croque glacé - ice cream pressed and sealed between a brioche bun...UGH. Plans are also in the works to open a new attraction based off the film Ratatouille which I'm sure will increase foot traffic in the pavilion greatly. Whatever your reason for visiting France, there's a good amount to see and do for most Disney goers. Grab some ice cream and take that selfie in front of the Eiffel Tower! read more

The France Pavilion in World Showcase at Epcot is such a cute escape from the rest of Disney World.It opened with the park on October 1, 1982 with a fun French theme as if you're in a neighborhood in Paris. Plume et Palette & La Signature - the strongest smelling shops in all of Disney World - can be found here full of perfumes! Souvenirs de France carries legitimate French souvenirs from shirts to cute little Eiffel Tower statues. If you've been to Paris, it's akin to the souvenir shops you find everywhere with some Disney touches thrown in. Expect a lot of Aristocats, Beauty & the Beast, Ratatouille and Sleeping Beauty items. Finally on the shop front are Les Vins de France (wine shop) and L'Esprit de la Provence (other liqours shop) full of everything your liver will hate you for later. For eats, you'll find two of the best restaurants Les Chefs de France, a nice sit down restaurant with some of the best mac & cheese! And Monsieur Paul, the classiest restaurant on all of Disney property aside from Victoria & Albert's with fabulous food & service. There is also a more casual Les Halles Boulangerie and Patisserie full of unique and tasty baked goods, as well as sandwiches which are all quite delicious. There are also a bunch of alcoholic & non-alcoholic drink options so you could make this spot a full meal stop. For more indulgence, you'll find L'Artisan des Glaces - an ice cream shop a good amount of options plus you can make a macaron ice cream sandwich or have ice cream in a cappuccino or martini! Yes, please! Standing alone are Crepes des Chefs de France (a cart full of crepes, coffee and ice cream!) and Les Vins des Chefs de France (libations galore though mostly wine, they do have the Disney famous Orange Slush cocktail which is worth trying). During the Holidays, you'll find the Alsace Holiday Kitchen booth which served up one of the best bites I've had in ages - Smoked Salmon Napoleon in a Dill Brioche. So simple but oh~so~delicious for $5.75. Attraction wise, there is an 18 minute film Impressions de France featuring scenes around France in a sit down, air conditioned theater. It's a nice break to learn a bit and see more of this beautiful country. As far as characters, you can meet Belle and Aurora at set times. You used to be able to meet Marie from the Aristocats and I'm so sad they did away with that. Love The France Pavilion for all of its charm, shopping and mostly having the most food options in all of World Showcase. I want to try every single thing on every single menu. :) read more

There is a small cafe that is good for a quick breakfast. The restaurant there is fancier, might need a reservation for that one. The kiosk Always has a great bite. The shops sell perfume and other fine goods. It's a lot to take in if you have allergies. We stopped and went to the beauty and the beast sing a long concert and enjoyed. The Eiffel towel is set to the side and you can't really get a picture with it. read more

My wife loves France and I enjoy it as well. I like the pastries in the small shop. The French movie is a great place to rest in the AC and sit down. Unlike the Canada movie you have seats here. There is also pictures of Notre Dame in the lobby. The restaurant looks good but it is always booked solid when we have tried so I have never eaten at this location. read more

This was a beautiful place. They have the beauty and the beast sing along show and the ratatouille ride here. We weren't big fans of either of the attractions here. The sing along was just a movie on a screen. The ratatouille ride was not worth the wait. The film about France on several giant screens combined to form one giant screen was quite alright. My trip to France was solely focused on Paris & the Parisian city life. The film was interesting showing life in the country. The film showed the epic mountains in France. It was well done. For food me & my friend stopped at the L'Artisan des Glaces Ice Cream shop. There was four vegan options of fruit sorbet. I went w/ mango upon our server's suggestion. The sorbet hit the spot as the day was hot & humid in the midst of a Floridan Summertime slowly rolling ahead. The shops here in the arcade immediately took me back to France as one think I learned about my trip in Paris was it is essential to say bonjour when entering a shop. My primal instincts of this returned as each shop in the arcade I entered would say bonjour. read more

While there's only shopping, food and beverages, and a movie, France is still one of the prettiest pavilions in Epcot. I love grabbing a pastry, glass of wine or ice cream and sitting in the beautiful gardens. Ahhh. Although I know a bunch of Americans must be a scary thing at times, I find the people working in this pavilion are patient, putting up with my sad attempts at pronouncing and ultimately slaughtering their wonderful language. If you eat at the main restaurant in the France pavilion, you will see Remy. We've eaten at Chefs de France numerous time and the food is good. It's dumbed down for a straightforward, tourist's palate, but there are some 'exotic' foods, such as escargot, on the menu. You must go to Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie. In my opinion, some of the best grab and go sandwiches and a bargain. I have noticed the sizes of the desserts getting smaller, but my waistline is happy, even though my tastebuds are not. read more

One of the larger pavilion spaces this area has a lot to offer. A sit down restaurant, hedge maze, patisserie, perfume shop and ice cream cafe can all be found here. You can meet and greet with Belle and Aurora here, just check the sign for times. The restaurant almost always has a hefty wait time so make reservations far in advance if you can. The patisserie is a queue line and usually moves pretty quick. It's all desserts and sweets here, and the chocolate mousse is a personal fave. Aurora is my favorite princess, so we stop by here a lot for a chance at photos with her. I never get enough of that part! Overall: A Large pavilion with plenty to see and do. I love the France Pavilion. It is definitely the most elegant, reflecting off of the country that it represents. It may not seem like the largest area, but there are all kinds of beauties to explore here! I love getting to see the mini Eiffel Tower in the back. Here you'll find a macaron shop, quick service restaurant that has croissants and other goodies, as well as a fancy full service restaurant (that has some amazing creme bru lee!) If you're feeling less fancy, there is another restaurant too, that I have yet to try. If you come here for the Food and Wine Festival, they usually have escargot and (tons) of champagne to sample as well. At the stands they have slushy cocktails, any they are to die for. You can meet Aurora and Belle here, too! read more
