This guy knows all London hairstyle techniques like Tony and Guy and Vidal Sassoon, he went to their school and also as a person, a very interesting person to speak about music, soccer and more lol. Truthfully - I never wanted to go to another Downtown / Fidi salon or barbershop again because my last experience back in Nov 2018 was horrible and it put a bad taste in my mouth for all salons / stylists in the city. Yes this place is expensive but I have yet to find a hair stylist cut my hair as well as Stephen Mullin does. I have longer curly/wavy hair that stylist in that past always seem to mess up. Thankfully I put my trust in Stephen a couple of years ago and have been coming back ever since. If you have longer (in my case thick) curly/wavy hair Stephen is your guy. In my mind it's worth the cost but I also go months before coming back for another cut. Overall highly recommend Stephen not only for a great cut but great conversation and service. Finally got to check out the new opening to Francesco's shop. This spot is amazing! Always a warm welcome from him when I see him and he's very excited about his new spot. Haircut was one and done! Got it on point and in 30 minutes. I usually get a fade with a slick back top and my dude Francesco get its done well. Always has a great conversation with his clients and his work and art with hair isn't just the typical cookie cutter barbershop cut you would get anywhere else. He knows his forte and does it well.
