My MIL went for a cake tasting and they sent her home with tons of pastries. They were all pretty good. The cannoli cream was delicious, but the shell was just okay. The black and white cookies were my favorite - I love when they have a touch of lemon!

This is the cake I got.

I will let the pictures do all the talking. However you would think when you call a professional bakery you would get professional results. I reached out asking for an explanation as to why the cake/cupcake I received did not look professionally made, even though I was charged an extra price for the design. They blew me off telling me they would get back to me, but they never did. Lesson learned, I will never use Francesco's again for any type of specialty cake.

The bakery items are OK at the Massapequa location. However, I can't get past the look of the store and the filth which leads me to not wanting to buy anything from this shop. There are huge dust clumps in the ceiling from the light fixtures, fans and AC. The ceiling is dirty and I feel like it would just fall over the food. Walls are dirty as well with worn/chipped paint/plaster. The woman that works there was not the nicest person and seems to work alone the couple of times I was in there. As I said, the food is ok, but I'm so put off by the dirt that I can't go back.

This bakery use to be one of the best in the area. I used to buy from the Hicksville location before there fire. When they were closed I started to use the north Massapequa location. The last 2 x I bought from them I was disappointed. I've tried both locations and they both stink. I tried again one last time and this time the stuff was uneatable. There cookies were stale and had a terrible after taste. The jelly in the center was just a dot. Not spread on the cookie. I also tried pastries and they tasted sour. I bought a cake that was lopsided. What happened? I brought this to a friends house and I felt embarrassed. Never again!!! They need to taste their own stuff there

Seriously just my favorite bakery. No other bakery can compare in my book. Tried another bakery in the area and I was just seriously disappointed that I came here right after. The Italian cookies are the best. Cakes are delicious. Pastries are to die for. I can't say enough good things about this place.

To be honest I don't even know if 2 stars is worth rating this bakery. I was let down for my daughters first birthday. I order cupcakes in shape of one to be delivery. First they never delivered. I had to inconvenience my brother and sister in law to go personally to shop which was few blocks away. When they arrived they look at them as if they have 10 heads. Long story short the cups cakes were not worth the price. The taste was not that great. I could have done this myself and spend 2% of what they charged me which I paid in full when I ordered it . I called several times explaining my frustration and was told not everything comes out perfect when planning a party. They offered very little credit. 4 Days later I still don't have my credit. Honestly. I don't even care about the money. They are obnoxious and unprofessional.

First off- they without a doubt, hands down, have the best rainbow cookies ever. They are the measuring stick I use to gauge all others, and I've yet to find a comparable match, or one that approaches. I stopped by this afternoon to grab a couple pounds, and the quality, taste, price were just how they were when I last had them...exceptional. While the rainbow cookies are certainly amazing, Patsy's is no one trick pony. They have a huge selection of tasty cookies, cakes, pastries, cannoli, fresh bread, Italian ice, and a host of other treats. The ambiance can best be described as that place where you go and instantly feel comfortable....you feel at home, like a regular- even on your first trip. Go on a Tuesday and it feels like a Sunday morning when everyone is going in early to grab bread for the evening's dinner. It's that place, and it's perfect. The service at Patsy's is impeccable. I was there at 1:30 on a Sunday afternoon, and there were at least 4-5 workers behind the counter masterfully taking orders, boxing and wrapping goodies, and ensuring all customers needs were met quickly with minimal waiting. Whether you're local to Lindenhurst or Long Island, or from far away and just in the mood for a great bakery (and rainbow cookie!) experience...you have to give Patsy's a try. You won't be disappointed!

We did a complimentary tasting with Pedro to decide what flavors would best represent us in cake form and it was such a cute experience. When we arrived, we noticed flies inside the bakery, as well as a spill on the floor. We were then asked to sit directly in front of the area where the spill was located, which was uncomfortable given the circumstances. In addition, our interaction with a staff mmbr felt very rushed. She spoke extremely quickly, and the presentation came across as somewhat rehearsed and impersonal. We understand that she may have been trying to efficiently walk us through the process, but we were hoping for more of a personal consultation and a genuine sense of care and enthusiasm for such an important part of the wedding. The place needs an all around makeover. Btw, The cake was plain and the frosting was nothing to brag about.

I had ordered blue birthday frosting decorations. Well, upon pick up I opened the box to inspect. It all looked good but the decorating could have been a little more. I mean not to question their strengths or weakness, but it could have used a little fluff rather than just a cluster of blue roses in the in upper left corner and Happy Birthday A_____w. It was half sheet cake with lots of space to work with. Anyways, when it came time to cut the cake for service, the cake crumbled under the weight of the knife. I was overseeing the process and the cake cutter was trying his best to achieve a decent portion intact, but with litte success. I immediately tasted the cake before it went my 40 person party. It was moist and flavorful but it crumbled to the touch. I couldn't put my finger on what was causing it, I felt like something was maybe missing from the recipe. It was later in the day when it came to me the answer to my problem. The cake it self had been made fresh, then frozen, thawed out, frosted and decorated. The freezing of the cake made it crumble at time of service. Very disappointing. I didn't last minute order this cake, so why they used frozen cake for my order I cannot understand. Convenience for them I guess, but I was not informed that previously frozen cake would be an option. Each and every piece of cake just crumbled on the plate and presentation was horrible. We were stuck with an inferior cake. I will not be returning to this bakery.
