When I called and asked if someone could deliver the missing items I was met with attitude once again. Tonight, we gave them yet another chance, and, surprise, two of our pasta orders were wrong. On top of that, the food simply doesn't taste as good as it used to. I'm really not sure what happened, but between the menu changes, our favorite items disappearing, repeated mistakes, and consistently disappointing customer service, I'm officially done. I've even perfected the "favorite meal" at home on principle. After years of being loyal customers, it's extremely disappointing to say that I will not be going back.

The best pizza I have had in years. Reminds me of the good pizza I had as a kid when the neighborhood was just starting out. This place actually is run by real Italian people. Imagine that. You can hear the father and son yelling back and forth in Italian. It reminds me of my family, so that must be normal. It also provides some entertainment for the customers. The father of the family runs a tight ship, right on top of things. It looks like he has no patience for anything that will mess up his standards. You can tell he cares about the quality of his product because of his intensity. He isn't playing. That makes a great pizza place. He reminds me of the old days when the patriarch is kicking some ass to keep things running. What I like: all their pizzas. A great oven, the small pies come out with classic thinner crusts, toppings always incredible The Sicilians and regular pies are amazing. If you save up an appetite, you will melt like the sauce and cheese when you eat them. Normal call in and pick times are always met. Prices are great. This place should build a restaurant I always think, and then I cancel that idea thinking maybe the way things are is exactly how they can focus on quality pies. I don't want the man to get a nervous breakdown with more people to be on top of. Things are great the way they are. Real Italians. Quality. Great Owner who knows the business. Great pizza place. Amazing pizza and best wings in town!!! They also sell their own Gilatos omg so tasty! I actually assisted them when he was getting a permit for the Gelatos while I was working for legislator John Kennedy back in 2012. I remember it took forever for him to get it, and I would call Albany every day to press them on it. I'm so glad they finally got it cause they are delicious!!! read more

With pizza, everything has to come together. The sauce was also overly acidic for my taste. I prefer a slightly sweeter sauce, and this one seemed heavily seasoned with dried oregano. Given all the glowing reviews, I expected something that stood out. Instead, I felt the pizza was no better than roughly 80% of the other pizzerias in the area. The crust desperately needs more flavor, whether that comes from a longer fermentation, more salt, or a combination of both.
