2 regular slices and a can of soda for $5.50 is a great deal. The slices were very hot out of the oven - just the way I like it! Definitely to the burning point of the upper mouth skin, which is manageable if you're professional pizza eater from Long Island like me. Service was fast and the staff were very kind. Very small pizzeria with limited seating, but perfect for a quick slice on-the-go

Growing up in NY and then moving down south over 20 years ago, the one thing I miss above anything else is being able to walk into a pizzeria and buy a "good" slice of pizza. Francesco's was everything I had hoped it would be when I walked through the front door. From the glass display of available pizza, to the homemade pastries. This placed definitely lived up to my expectations. I ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza and a chocolate covered cannoli to go. The pizza maker along with the young lady behind the counter were super friendly and quick to get my order in the over and then bagged up to go. The pizza had a thin crisp crust with a beautiful tomato sauce and just the right amount of cheese. The chocolate covered cannoli was a nice and crisp dough was filled with a sweet and creamy ricotta filling. I will 100% be back the next time I am in the Islip area. Two thumbs up.

Frank has got this takeout/curbside game down pat!!! Here's why... Francesco's has been in this location for years and years. It seems like a basic inconspicuous pizza joint from the outside. But if the outside matched the quality of the food, it would look like the Roman Colosseum!! The food is excellent. Perfect crisp to the crust. Balance tang and sweet to the sauce. The specialty slices are all delicious. I highly recommend the meat stuffed slice. All the salty, briney, smokey Italian meats with a cute touch of sesame seeds evened out with fresh cheese. All in one great slice! But the most impressive part of Frank's is his ingenuity during this COVID crisis. He has created great takeout options like 10 dinners for $55! Or a fun night in (since they are all nights in) with a family friendly Make Your Own Pizza Kit, which includes his fresh dough!! I will be back for a slice, hero, calzone and I won't forget the homemade cannoli!!

One of the best pizza restaurants in Long Island New York. They make the pizza thin, crispy and cheesy. Always clean and offer delivery. Delivery is always quick unlike others and their pasta is out of this world! I wouldn't seek anywhere else!

Customers were coming in and wanted to sit but couldn't because boxes took up an entire table

So the pizza slices that I had were pretty good and that's what matters the most. However, do not eat here. The guys in the front of the store just yell across you to the back of the shop and it's very loud and irritating. It looks like they have a storage issue as pizza boxes are just sitting on top of tables in the eating area. On top of that the selection of pizza was low. When I came into the place, they were out of a bunch of slices. However if you are a local unlike me I would definitely recommend ordering for delivery!

Great pizza!!! Thin crust Chicken BBQ pizza melts in your mouth! And homemade cannoli's too!! Whenever I'm in the area..I'll be sure to come back. The owners are Sicilian and such great, warm kind-hearted people!

Good for the lunch special, haven't tried much else. The slice was good and they had some small specialty pepperoni bites that were good.

Ok so where do I even start... Throughout the years I've…read morebeen leaving anonymous reviews on each restaurant, some very good, some very bad. Il Piccolo Villaggio one of people's favorite Italian places in Long Island, some call the hidden gem! If you are new to this place you might love it, like I did throughout the times I've been to this restaurant. Now, this restaurant not too long ago was full of some of the greatest servers I've seen in the Island and had an absolute outstanding incredible service! But it's coming to an end. When you go to an Italian restaurant you expect great food and great service with an adult and people with experience make your night. Lately this restaurant has had many issues with that now is full of kids and girls trying to do this job like is a game, don't get me wrong I am not against female servers or kids getting new jobs, but for me this is not the place to be if you are going to do the real server/waiter/waitress job. Water not being served, not knowing THEIR OWN MENU, not serving the wine after they sell like its self service. If you sell pour help the costumer serve the wine don't just open serve one time and leave because you will not get a good tip and even ask for a good review like this girl does. You walk by or just sitting down you see people looking for their server to ask for water or pour wine themselves. Now why the 3 stars and not 2 or 1? I still see this kid Jeff and always with a good smile on his face, the last good and old school server I know after the 2 old ones left, this kid and the food is the reason some people do go back. Many will say oh it's just because you like this kid but no. Go yourself ask for him and you will see a difference in the service! Sometimes the menu and specials are repetitive and I I tell him make me something he always surprises me! His way of serving the old school way makes me feel hope for this restaurant. Manager or owner if you see this please save your service, take this review as a kind message to get your level back to where it was. We the neighborhood, the community still want Il Piccolo Villaggio to be top choice for Italian cuisine around here.

I got a slice of the "grandma" which is a think New York style with garlic, and two slices of Sicilian cheese. Gio's Pizza & Restaurant was everything we loved and missed. It truly tasted like a slice of home for us. Delicious and fresh slices with friendly and quick service, we could not have asked for a better experience. We found ourselves coming back several times during our trip. Gio's Pizza & Restaurant is located in a small strip of shops with free parking shared among the businesses. The establishment has several chairs and tables for customers to sit and enjoy their slices. Many people at the time of our visits took their food to go, but it's nice that they have the option to eat in if people would prefer that. They offered many different types of pies on display and also had some awesome daily specials. I'm fairly simple with my order with a plain slice and some garlic knots, but my husband tried an array of things and enjoyed everything. Gio's Pizza & Restaurant is going to be a staple place for us to visit the next time we're in Islip. Excellent food, good service, and fair pricing.

There is limited parking in the small lot in the back but there is street parking. There is a small bar area that was quite busy when my brother and I visited on a recent Tuesday at 7pm. I don't know if they have 'happy hour' but it seemed to quiet down not long after that. The dining area is not large but there are quite a number of tables and for a Tuesday many were occupied at that time with everyone from couples to families to singles. Complimentary bruschetta was brought along with a bread basket of a rustic bread w/olives and a white bread. There is a very extensive wine list along with a good selection by the glass. The standard menu is huge and they also had a full page of specials. We started with the crab cakes for an app and we mentioned we'd be sharing. I was impressed that they brought us each 1 plated. My brother had a Veal chop special, enough for two meals, that was stuffed with spinach, prosciutto & cheese in a brown mushroom gravy. He enjoyed it tremendously I have a chicken special that was stuffed with spinach, sausage, ricotta in a light tomato sauce. It was very tasty and a large portion. I took half home. There were also several dessert specials, we had a pistachio creme brulee which was just ok and a rainbow cookie crusted cheesecake which was outstanding. Everything from the service to the food was above average and I won't hesitate to go again and soon

Baked clams are my "litmus test" for Italian restaurants, and theirs are in my top 10. Their menu is insane! So many choices, so many specials each day, and a huge assortment of desserts. If you cannot find something to eat, there is something wrong. The bar area is very small, so don't plan on spending too much time there before you get seated. Their staff is attentive without being annoying, and their dining room is large and welcoming. Once seated, you are greeted with complimentary bruschetta and their ample bread basket. Two things I recommend ordering are their clams and if you eat rabbit, definitely get theirs when it is offered. Portions are huge and the quality of seafood is always fresh. They have a small lot in the rear of the restaurant, with both a rear and front entrance. There is also street parking available (do NOT park in the bank lot across the street--you will get towed).

We were cutting it close to closing time, but tried our luck anyways. There were two people working at the time, maybe the owner and his son. They were both so friendly and kind upon us walking in. They greeted us as if they had just opened for the day. They still had several pies out for us to select from, along with other miscellaneous items to add to our order. We were pretty hungry and ordered a bunch of items. Again, both guys were very kind and treated our order with care. They also had no problem with us eating our food inside and never made us feel rushed even though it was nearly their closing time. The service alone was standout and 5-stars. Isabella's Pizza is located in a small strip of shops. They have free parking shared among the businesses. The establishment has several tables and chairs if you'd like to dine in. Their menu offers a variety of items and, even though we came in so late, they had a diverse spread of pies to order some slices. As noted above, we came in pretty hungry and ordered several items to share. These included: - arancinis - plain slice - chicken parm roll - stuffed knots (spinach and pepperoni) - garlic knots Everything was really tasty. Portions were perfect and the price was just right. Definitely a solid find for us in the area! We would definitely return in the future and would ideally look to stop in during the day to really see their full spread and offerings.

We ordered from here at least once a week, but unfortunately, the quality and customer service have gone downhill. After one major order mistake, I called to have it corrected and was met with an attitude that completely turned me off. I even questioned whether the restaurant had changed ownership because the difference in service and quality was so noticeable. I was told it hadn't, but there was a new manager whom I had actually seen at the restaurant. Despite all of that, my family insisted we give it another chance because they love one particular meal. I refused to order, pay, or pick it up--and sure enough, they forgot the salad dressing (again!) and another part of the order was incorrect. When I called and asked if someone could deliver the missing items I was met with attitude once again. Tonight, we gave them yet another chance, and, surprise, two of our pasta orders were wrong. On top of that, the food simply doesn't taste as good as it used to. I'm really not sure what happened, but between the menu changes, our favorite items disappearing, repeated mistakes, and consistently disappointing customer service, I'm officially done. I've even perfected the "favorite meal" at home on principle. After years of being loyal customers, it's extremely disappointing to say that I will not be going back.
