Missing the pizza we ordered. Call this place. They offer to deliver the pizza.Yes please.Oh no, sorry it's too far. They refused to deliver it to our hotel. 15 minutes away. Fine..Husband drives 15 minutes back for the pizza. So 30 minutes round trip.No offer to fix their mistake. Husband asks for a free dessert.No.They offered A drink. 1 drink. My hot roast beef sandwich wasn't even warm..cold and it was evident it was never hot because the cheese was not melted AT ALL. $50 for this?!? This place is a joke. Stay far away. read more

Jimbo's is a typical reliable sub/pizza shop. They have a huge menu, offering many subs, sandwiches, and sides. I've been there several times and always found their food good, but not fantastic. I'd probably give them 3 1/2 stars but no halves are allowed by Yelp. Recently, my Mom and I picked up from there. Their Italian sub was pretty good, with decent cold cuts and some good cheese. The rolls are average in size and are better than the mushy ones some other shops use. We also got a chicken parmesan sub, which was good. I liked the sauce better than some other places. It was quite generous in size, loaded with chicken. The mozzarella sticks were very good. They were better than those from most places--reasonably crispy with good bread crumbs. Prices were higher than some places in the area, but not excessive, given the Biden/Harris inflation we're all suffering through. It's difficult for sub shops like Jimbos to deal with it--they either need to raise prices or reduce the food portions. Probably the main overpriced item was the mozzarella sticks, which run $10 just for a "small". The location itself is nicer than many places and always clean. It has A/C, which is nice if you need to wait for a pickup as I did. read more

Our favorite place that we eat at every time we're in Mass. A large menu but you gotta get the super beef. I was disappointed that they gave me a sesame roll instead of an onion roll but it was still amazing. Onion rings in point. Large portions. Friendly staff. Basic interior. I work construction and I eat lunch somewhere different almost every day. I've driven by this place a million times and I've never eaten here. Decided today would be the day. I honestly wish I kept driving. This is probably the worst lunch I've had in 2-3 years. Started with a pizza roll, I get it it's a frozen product but it was absolutely disgusting, there was a paper like wrapping on the inside underneath the wrap and it was not edible. Their chicken finger breading has an odd texture that looks and feels like play sand. You know the stuff in a sandbox. That's what it looks like and that's what it feels like. It had no flavor, the chicken underneath it seemed nice white meat and fresh but ruined by the breading. Got a junior beef that had enough sauce for four super beef's. I did not ask for extra sauce but I sure got it. After wiping it all away from the sandwich I took two bites and thought to myself this is a strange texture so I opened a sandwich, and much to my surprise this incredibly RARE beef is shredded, not shaved, not sliced thin but shredded and gives for a very sloppy and messy chewy texture. Have become very disheartened with this place for about a year now. It started with an inedible extremely overly seasoned broiled haddock dinner. Since I thought it was out of character, I called and was totally ignored. I even emailed them and got crickets. Even after that, I still ordered from them but their quality continued to deteriorate. Today was the last straw! My wife ordered and they delivered a roast beef club sandwich on white toast. They used the ends of the white bread. I placed an order on line using my debit card, the money was taken from my account but they said they didn't get my order, I showed pictures of my order and showed them on my bank app that I was charged, he wouldn't help and actually tried to take pictures of my bank account information with his phone. I ordered cheese fries via the drive through, and it took forever. I also ended up with food poisoning that I know was from these fries as everything else that I had to eat that day was shared with another person, while I was the only one to get cheese fries, I was the only one to get food poisoned. I am also pregnant, which as you can imitating being food poisoned was made even more dangerous because if it was a more serious food born illness could have impacted my pregnancy horrifically. read more

I prefer their reddman special hot sub. That slaps like an abusive mother. It is so good and I love it. Get it every time. Sweet potato fries are amazing. I just want to give a BIG SHOUT to Singh, the owner of Jimbo's Roastbeef, and his outstanding staff.   I own a boot camp studio in the same plaza.  We had a luncheon event after our Spartan race yesterday, and Jimbo's caterd our after celebration.   Singh is just an amazing guy!  He provided excellent customer service and magnificent food!   He even went so far as to go out of his way to buy paper plates when he learned we didn't have any.    Not many people would do what he did.  I would highly recommend using Jimbo's the next time you have and event.  You will not be sorry! While their food is mostly good, in the last two years there has always been a problem with delivered orders. Most of the time the orders were not correct. Usually part of the orders were missing or a whole dish was missing. You can call them and tell them that the order is not correct and they will offer to deliver the correct order but, if you have company, who wants to wait for a new order to arrive after everyone has left my house. Last time I wanted shrimp added to a 2 dishes, was asked how many because they price accordingly. When the order was delivered both dishes had only 4 shrimp each even though I had requested 5 shrimp per dish. I wrote the owner a letter outlining the problems with all these orders over the last two years but he chose not to ignore it. So he lost a customer. read more

I live in a senior community in Tewksbury and Jimbo's was recommended for delivery. My delivery never showed...over 90 mins late. They are less than 8 mins away. When I communicated with the owners, they said that the driver had been here and and that I had been called 6-8x. I checked my Verizon records. Not true. . They were near closing and asked if I wanted to cancel... I said yes because it was near 10pm. Then they said, he is here and on his way after over 90 mins. That was also not true. The owner delivered the cold food greasy food to me after they closed the resturant. The food was inedible. It landed in the garbage as it should. I like many people that live here are on a fixed income. I spent $33.00 with food & tip for garbage. I contacted them 3-4x to resolve this issue. They never made an effort to reach out or repair the damages. They ought to be ashamed to treat a senior citizon or anyone like that. #1 not correcting their error in the 1st place and then blaming me for missing calls that were never received. (dishonest) #2 delivering anyone food that had been sitting over 90 mins in a car #3 not having enough respect for your business to do the right thing & either prepare fresh food and deliver it or apologize and issue a full refund for the grave inconvenience. read more

First time here. Was hungry and was driving by. Figured stop in and grab food. My husband got an Italian, I got a super beef. My husband enjoyed his sub immensely.. he was very pleased and it was packed full. My super beef looked small but let me tell you it was deceiving. It was full and very tasty. They gave us a free garden saad and we thought that was a very nice gesture. My son only wanted a cookie. It was the last one. He enjoyed it. Next time I am in area, I will stop in again. read more

We always come here for the chicken kebab salad. While waiting for the order we asked what else they could recommend. The person working there went above and beyond to give us recommendations. He was so nice and actually made us some small samples of items to try. This was amazing customer service and went a long way with us. There are a ton of sub shops and pizza places around with very little to differentiate themselves. Jimbo's food and service are both excellent and worth the trip. read more

Okay so I usually go to nicks roast beef in Beverly Massachusetts which IN MY OPINION is the best roast beef place in Massachusetts. Well well well. I didn't mind at all that it was going to take an hour, that's fine. However, ice cold fries, ice cold chicken fingers... no good. I almost ordered a seafood dinner. If I got a $27.00 seafood dinner I would have been livid. Anyway, if your delivery crew can't get the food to the destination hot (and my house is literally 45 seconds away, you should stop delivering. The roast beef was delicious.
