I'm not impressed to see that menu prices went up 10 to 20 percent on some items in a matter of 2 weeks after opening. Sorry, but that is not cool. $6 more for the lamb ragu?? Oh and I really wanted to try the squash blossoms because I had some at red ash and thought it was great. But they were out of them at 6:30pm. And $16 for 2 isn't cheap either, similar to Red Ash of I recall, but this place ain't Red Ash... This place could be great, the indoor is nice with cute flooring and a beautiful bar, but honestly for where it's located and what the food looks like, prices are too high. The restaurant doesn't even have an outdoor sign for Pete's sake... The mushroom pizza was good and priced decently. Everything else we saw looked quite average and too expensive. Tiramisu is a ridiculously small portion for $14. I haven't seen the salads but I fear that $16 won't give you much of a plate. Waitress was friendly but really didn't try to sell us on anything on the menu. This is a Michelin starred chef? Well the food certainly doesn't look like it. I'll pay for great food. This isn't it. It's average food, better than a food chain but nothing amazing. I was excited. I'm not anymore.

I absolutely love not having to drive to downtown Austin every time I want good Italian food. Service was spectacular and the ambiance felt homey. The steak melted in my mouth and the black garlic on the prawns made the dish so decadent. I loved the textures in the rigatoni alla vodka. Those breadcrumbs really made the dish. Chef Phillip Lee came over to ask how everything tasted. Overall a solid dining experience north of Austin!

Went on a date with my daughter, we saw a tik tok, and decided to give them a try. When we arrived service was incredible, the only minus was we felt like broke people when we asked about the bottle of sparkling water. We took them without a lid or cover, rightfully so but uncomfortable. On their end, it was incredible, will be back again and food was delicious.,

We were looking for special last minute dinner option to see my daughter off and this place was perfect! We did not have a reservation but the Host said they had a few cancellations and after short 10-15 min wait he got us seated on Saturday night. The place was packed but service was still good. The ambiance elegant but a little louder than expected. We could still talk just had to speak up a bit. The appetizers, entrees and desserts were well spaced time wise. The food was delicious and Soemthing knew which is nice on this side of town. Really excited about this option and eager to go back and try other menu items.

"thin crust" pepperoni and candied jalapeños pizza

We were excited to try Frankie & Margie's after hearing it marketed as a "Michelin star chef" restaurant, but the experience was disappointing from the start. My boyfriend called multiple times over several days trying to make a reservation and nobody ever answered, only for us to find out they mainly use the Resy app where reservations were already booked 10-12 days out. The host was also rude when we arrived. We were first told the wait would be 15 minutes, then after giving our number it suddenly became 45 minutes. We ended up waiting around 30, which would've been fine if they had just been honest upfront. When our table was "ready," we were awkwardly left standing there while it was still being cleaned, and the restaurant itself was uncomfortably hot the entire night. The food unfortunately didn't make up for the experience. The prices felt excessive for what was served especially with appetizers over $10, including garlic bread, and no complimentary bread service at the table despite the upscale Italian atmosphere they're clearly going for. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo and asked to add chicken, but was told they were "out of chicken," even though we could clearly see other tables receiving chicken parm. My boyfriend ordered the pepperoni and candied jalapeño pizza, which was very average and overly sweet from too much honey, with barely any jalapeños on it. What really stood out was how misleading the portions were compared to what staff described. I overheard a waitress telling another table the portions were huge and "family style" for 3-4 people, while my $24 fettuccine portion honestly looked like it came from a kids menu. Overall, the restaurant feels more focused on hype and exclusivity than quality, service, or value, and the experience didn't come close to justifying the price point

Came here for my boyfriend's birthday and had such a great experience. The bone marrow garlic bread was absolutely incredible..rich, dense, and packed with flavor. It was one of those dishes you keep thinking about long after the meal. The lobster cavatelli was excellent, with perfectly cooked pasta and a delicious, well-balanced sauce. The chicken parm was another standout..crispy, flavorful, and comforting without feeling overly heavy. Service was a bit slow at times, but the staff was genuinely attentive and thoughtful whenever they stopped by our table, which made the wait much easier to overlook. As a birthday surprise, they brought out a soft serve dessert that was phenomenal. The combination of salty and sweet, finished with olive oil, was unexpected and absolutely perfect. For a late-night reservation, the prices felt very reasonable for the quality of the food and overall experience. We had so much fun celebrating here and will definitely be back.

    Pepperoni & hot honey

We were seated at our reservation time, we sat in the front of the restaurant. Next time I will ask for the back, it was a little warm up front, maybe the A/C was on the fritz. We ordered the bone marrow bread, it was good, not sure I would order again, just to save the room for the main dish, but we wanted to try it. We shared the dishes to compare. Pesto Cavatelli ranked first, amazing flavor and texture. Rigatone alla Vodka ranked second, the sauce was good, no meat, pasta texture was ok. Roasted Salmon, third, just ok, for the price. We did order a Pepperoni, candied Jalapeno, hot honey pizza to go. Even warmed up in the oven the next day for lunch, it was very good. We will go back.

    Lobster pasta

Honestly, I never leave negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt compelled to share it. We started with the bone marrow toast, and the bread was burned black. It wasn't just toasted, it was charred to the point that it overwhelmed the dish. Both cocktails we ordered were made incorrectly. About 10 minutes later, our server took them back and brought the correct drinks, but there was no acknowledgment or apology. I ordered the lobster pasta, which contained little to no actual lobster and had the consistency of a soup rather than a pasta dish. My wife ordered the mushroom pizza, and the homemade sauce was surprisingly sweet and didn't complement the pizza well. I went in wanting to enjoy this restaurant because I love good Italian food, but unfortunately every course missed the mark. More than a week later, I'm still thinking about how disappointing the meal was, which is why I decided to leave this review. Hopefully management takes the feedback seriously and improves the experience for future guests.

Any beer connoisseur will understand the technique the demands and the workmanship that goes into creating draft beer and what I really love is I fell in love with the Hill country kolsch, it's a blend of a light beer so I prefer light beers like ultra or Miller so to me it taste like a more full flavored Miller light and what I really appreciate is that it's not like a heavy IPA so it allows me to free up space in my stomach so I can go for the killer pizza. Hands-down, one of the best cheese, breads, high-quality cheese crispy, crunchy cheese bread with what I really love are those crispy crunchy edges that are on the crust it's addictive. And then you're able to dip each cheese bread into that jalapeño ranch or that creamy queso. I'm telling you this right now their house made jalapeño ranch is like crack. They should bottle it and sell it if they decided to bottle it I would buy a bottle should I say I think it's better than Wingstop? Go try the pizzas as you can see. I ordered the works pizza we can see all the beautiful cuts of meats. All fresh meats, all beautifully individually, sliced fresh crunchy crust with melted cheese. Just a great bite. If you're a carnivore this is your pizza. I wanted to jazz things up and go for the honey bear pizza and I requested that they add white sauce as the base and then drizzle on top of the olive oil. I'm happy they made that pizza for me because you can taste the white sauce mixed with the olive oil and the nice salty shavings of prosciutto.

The poppyseed dressing was just okay, but the salad itself was so good I'd absolutely order it again without hesitation. * Caesar Salad: My granddaughter liked it overall, but said there was way too much shaved Parmesan. Not a deal-breaker, just a heavy hand. Now, the pizza I ordered a 10" personal pizza with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, red onions, and arugula. The pizza itself? Really good. The arugula, though... listen. It was everywhere. Overkill. I ended up taking most of it off and tossing it onto my spinach salad -- problem solved, no waste, still delicious. My granddaughter went classic with a cheese pizza, and she loved it. Said it's one of her favorites, and she's been here before -- which says a lot coming from a young person who does not hand out compliments lightly. What really sealed it for me: * The servers were amazing -- friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind * The place was very clean * The vibe was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for an easy lunch and good conversation Overall? Great food, great service, great time with my granddaughter -- and that's the kind of lunch that sticks with you. I'd definitely go back. And yes, I'd order that spinach salad again... arugula optional.

When we found out, we rushed over for a Father's day meal. The atmosphere was pretty cool, interesting pictures on the walls, someone put a lot of effort, time and thought into the decorating of this establishment. All men running the joint, we told the guy who took our order(who was very nice), it was our first time here. They have been in business for 16 years(not at this location)! So lets get down to the food. My Husband ordered the two dog combo, one a Chicago dog, another a sauerkraut dog, it came with fries. He sad the dogs were amazing, they hit all the marks. The fries were ok, a little room temp(but to be fare we came there 30 minutes before closing). The soda's were really great, not two sirupy, not too carbonated, we enjoyed them. I ordered a pizza with Italian sausage added. They gave us our drinks for free, which was awesome. I didn't know what to expect with the pizza, but I was blown away by it. They should be very proud of the recipe they created. Most places over season/spice their sauces. The flavor of the tomato gets drowned out. This was absolutely not the case the sauce did not sow out the crust whatsoever it held its crisp the whole time. The sausage was wonderful. The cheese was everything you wanted on a pizza. I can say it's the best than crust pizza I think I've ever had. My husband tried it and we fought over who was going to be eating it for lunch tomorrow. It was huge. I wasn't expecting it to be that big. I will be dreaming about that pizza, and craving it. This is my go to place to get good pizza. It blows Nikki's out of the water. If you are craving some good then crust, pizza, or hotdog I suggest you go there. They also have chili fries, cheesesteaks, so much. They have one of those menus, where everything looks good, and it's hard to decide. Just try it. Warning, this pizza is 14 in(seemed bigger), and it being thin crust, and tasting so good, you might find yourself eating the whole thing. Wish we had pics to post, but we did not think of doing it, will do next time(which will probably be later this week, it was that good).
